Review Turkish Delight - Ali's Kebab Cafe - Palmerston North

I cannot rate this place high enough. The food was worth every sent. The portions are huge!! The food is delicious. I accidentally left my wallet with my phone and our passports money in it at the restaurant. When I went back for it they had it and all my money and cards were still in it. I was so relieved. Thanks to the amazing staff. Will be back.

Palmerston Norths best kebab shop with incredible hospitality. Burak and his family are awesome, kind, great people who make the best eats! Cant recommend this place enough

The food is great we ordered too many sauce on top of our meal soo much to eat pretty big portions. The food looks great the place is pretty aged but food do the justice. Turkish coffee is great.

Delicious food. The food & service was amazing. The baklava was the best I have had. Will definitely be going back. The staff were also fantastic. 👌

Popped in here for a quick dinner and we were pleasantly surprised.. Kebabs were unusually large and ao fresh.. Very impressed. Suoer nice salads and hummus etc..

Got a medium chicken on rice and small kebab. Were both excellent. Loads of flavour and generous serving for a medium. Service was fast although a busy night. 10/10. Would visit again

A lovely place for a quick bite to eat. They offer a takeaways service right next door to their dine in area. The food is inexpensive and they have a very decent serving. The large portions could easily serve two people and have them leaving feeling satisfied!

I have now found my favorite kabab shop. I'm a bit of a foodie and don't give 5star ratings freely. But Turkish delight definitely deserves it! Not only is the $ worth the quantity but also the quality. Absolutely delicious. Staff were friendly and welcoming too. Nice selection on the menu, for both meat lovers and vegetarians. Will definitely go back.

Excellent food and great service.

I enjoy the kebab wraps and get them all the time as well. I like a lot of spice and it's always spicy enough for me to eat and also has good flavour from the meat and salads. The customer service there is also good, the workers are friendly and hard working

Great kebabs, they're huge meat cooked well, several levels of spice if you like hot food. They have BYO I do reccomend owner is also super nice.

Best kebabs in town for the price. Generous portions and friendly service which make me go back every time when I have cravings for kebabs or islanders meals. Nothing can go wrong with dining here. They won't stop you from ordering from the kids menu too when you obviously don't have kids lol Atmosphere here is relaxing and family friendly.

Always friendly fresh kebabs, but have changed my orders to pocket bread lately , try the Iskenderun as well, huge serving & healthy, busy on wkd evenings, try lunch during the week , the best marinated grilled chicken, it's there own secret recipe.<br/>This kebab cafe has been here a long time& it's always good.<br/>The owners are very friendly & Ali is always talking to his customers.<br/>Best Turkish/ kebab in Palmie.

I went to Turkish Delight today to grab some lunch for myself and my parents. The whole atmosphere is so relaxed and inviting yet professional.<br/><br/>Everything is so fresh and vibrant. I got the mixed kebab and the meat was so succulent and the salads and sauces were tasty - and the sauces are even home made, big thumbs up to that- <br/>I ordered three kebabs and he made sure we knew what each one had in them. All the food options are so reasonably priced and well worth your money. <br/><br/>As I was waiting for my kebabs to be prepared, I noticed that the owner -Ali, I think- remembers so many people and gives everyone their own personal experience and conversation. Whilst he works he interacts and chats away which I think is so great because it makes every one feel welcome and warm inside. When food places get to know their regular customers it makes the place stand out from the rest and I believe Turkish Delight stands out from the rest. 👍

i got myself a mixed kebab - chicken and lamb. With all the available salads. Sauces I asked for were hummus and aioli. I was surprised because at the plaza im a big asian foods fan. <br/>I loved it. I think Im now a big kebab fan. Fresh salad veges - nice and crisp. Very generous sized large portions for $13 approx. I am a big eater. They call me the 'beast' because nana beast is always hungry. This was a great feed and the flavours were very well balanced including the added onions. (surprised me! Thought the onions may overpower all the other ingredients). <br/>Thumbs up to the Cooks.

Best food experienced ever.... Iskender was nothing I'll get anywhere. Ali makes the experience even more fun. Great interiors plus wide range. Try from Iskender, Doner and even Burgers all mouth watering.

Outstanding.<br/><br/>went today 3pm on a friday (every other kebab place closed (cept eminems), great service, great kebab.<br/><br/>definitely will be recommending this place to others.<br/><br/>Will be trying the full menu eventually.

We have moved - Oct 2016 -  our new cafe is 15 Fitzherbert Ave, just around the corner from our old shop. If you want good healthy fresh food, and excellent value for money, then head over to Turkish Delight.<br/><br/>This business is apart of Palmerston North culture for workers, families, and students.<br/><br/> We are open everyday, all day, most nights till 9pm and 11pm. weekends till the am.<br/>We are here for Palmerston North. They have been open for over 20 years!!! And it still tastes the same.<br/><br/>I can say all this because I work there. :)<br/><br/>Try it - If you don't like it, tell them, if you do love it go tell your friends!!!
