I eat a lot of Asian takeaways and I can honestly say Monsoon Asia is the best value large dishes only $11 takeaway and no skimping on quality ingredients, you can throw in a entree ( takeaway for $5.50 ) stuffed mushrooms are fantastic. The service is super fast, super friendly and this little restaurant is extremely clean. Very cosy for small groups and BYO.. I cant say enough good things about Monsoon Asia, only they deserve to do very well
We went here for dinner on a Thursday night after having heard a lot of positive reviews from friends. The place was packed, and we got the last table for two. Despite being so busy, the waitress was extremely friendly and gave us good advice on what to select. I had a tofu meal while my husband had a fish dish. The food was delicious and the servings were very reasonable, as was the price. There was a birthday party happening at one of the tables and the whole restaurant sang 'Happy Birthday', which was quite nice. What with the extremely positive atmosphere of both the staff and the diners, and the great food, it made for a very enjoyable evening. Definitely worth coming back!
I have been eating at this restaurant since the owners took over from Ken. The banquet is the best value for money, an amazing feast. Hot and Sour soup is to die for and I would say their Salt and Pepper Prawns would be their signature dish. Always a pleasure dining there.
