Review Cafe Ignition - Palmerston North

My caramel latte made my day. One of the best coffee I have had in ages. The hot chips was just amazing! The service impeccable. Really worth visiting maybe even when you're not on a flight.

Busy cafe with big portion of meals. We ordered 2 steak sandwiches and lasagne with salad and chips. Yummilicious! Our caramel lattes were smooth and just the right temperature. Iced Coffee as well.Service was very professional and nice. Highly recommended!

Good coffee and food. Thought there could be more bacon with the bacon and eggs. Maybe they were running low.

Best coffee I have had in a long while

Stag were friendly and there was a decent selection of food. The salmon eggs benedict was great and the scones were a good size. Good place to chill while waiting for your flight.

Your staff are total super stars as we were completely stuck with a major problem and they came to our rescue,amazing people 👍

I spent 3 days on the toilet after drinking half my latte from cafe ignition needless to say I think the milk had been reheated many times! However the staff seemed friendly enough.

I frequently come to the Palmerston North airport to fly home during the year, and each time I go to Cafe Ignition. I'm at the cafe as I write this review now - and this is the second time the customer service has been appalling.<br/>Being completely ignored/dismissed when your food and beverages are delivered to your table is upsetting and puts a bad light to the day. The last time I was here I ordered the nachos dish that was, quite frankly a plate of Dorito chips soaked in oil and lumpy mince - not worth the $13.50 I paid for. To make situations worse, the lady who brought it to my table completely ignored my 'thanks', dumped it on the table and stomped off.  I didn't complain that time as everyone has bad days and I assumed that was it. <br/><br/>But now as I sit here with my luke warm coffee which was put on the table by a barista that (just like the last time) completely ignored me and literally turned and walked away while I was thanking her for it, I am fuming and have decided to not buy a coffee or food from here again. <br/><br/>I want to make it clear that not all staff members at Cafe Ignition are like this - I have had really nice people serve me. But it is the one or two workers that ruin it for everyone, I'm not going to risk being treated rudely again, it's not worth getting upset and angry about as it can be avoided by simply not going there.

The Flat White was genuinely the weakest I have ever had.  They only give you a single shot - yet it is full price and not much more than warm milk.

The coffee is amazing - Hannah makes the best coffee! I absolutely love their nachos - one of the best I have had!! Always order it if I am having a meal. The slices are huge too. Highly recommended cafe.

Chicken Panini is to die for, just lovely

been a while (about a year) since ive been there, but had lovely staff who coped really well with the busy day they were having. Have to agree the nachos are good :) also have great chai lattes :)

I must give 5 stars to their nachos! so delicious, drive to the airport one morning just for their nachos.
