Review The Cobb - Palmerston North

Good pub. Service was very friendly but there was a long wait for meals at dinner time. Food was good, and the beer selection was decent. The outstanding part was the desserts—I'd go back just for those!

Had a delish 200gm rump steak med rare and yes, it was cooked just right. Fries were lovingly seasoned & slaw was fresh with juicy dressing. Fast service, great atmosphere (Speedway Grill) & great price. Shame the speedway menu no longer exists as those burgers were to die for !!

Service, staff, and atmosphere good. Very popular at lunchtime. We had their Loaded wedges, recommended. The meals are really generous.

Got the 500g rump steak, and added on 2 eggs. It was cooked perfectly, and tasted delicious. Such a Great Price for what you get. We went at 11:30am and it was the perfect time to go because it wasn’t busy. It started to get busy just as we were leaving. Great service and atmosphere too.

Good atmosphere. Good music. Good service. Clean and tidy. I like how they had the specials and any food not available on the electronic boards. Good size portions for price. I wouldnt suggest getting the kids strawberry sundae as the sauce is far from strawberry.

Awesome affordable food and streaming sports live will always go back for the awesome food and team they have on each shift.

Enjoyable atmosphere & friendly service from all the staff. We had platters in the speedway room & they were great, ribs, seafood, skewers & heaps of fries.

Enjoyed a nice lunch with the family. Really busy during school holidays. Arrived at 11.30 and almost full already. Food was well priced and plentiful. Parking outside in the street. Guess they couldn't do much to improve the weather!

What a great meal. We didn't have to wait to long, and the meal was an absolute value for money. It was so tasty, too.

Great food, nice prices, but dont really cater for large groups, there were 9 of us, one lady serving behind the bar wasn't helpful, another lady came out from the kitchen and put two tables together for us, shecwas very helpful... I tried booking a table the day before but they weren't taking bookings.

A great selection of pub meals. Always popular with lots of chatter. Right in the town. Hats off to the staff. Clean and viewing of sport in nearly all directions. Upstairs, downstairs, outside areas. It's on this families list of continued places to dine-in.
