Alright, i have tried most bakeries in Palmerston North searching for the best fresh cream donut and this bakery is at the top. Buns are always nice and soft, cream is always fresh, can taste the jam on each bite and the price is lower than others i won't mention... Keep up the good work team.
These fullas make their own version of schewberries (spelling) biscuits and some other old school bickkies. I love these ones and the marshmallow ones. When I am in Palmy, I buy my supplies and hide them from my wife and kids (you know how they have hip flasks? well I want whatever the equilivilant (spelling) is for bickkies in my pocket). I get warm feelings when I bite into these bickkies. This is making me hungry, I wanna go to Palmy now on a "business" trip.

This place has some of the best home home baking tasting biscuits and cheese cakes around, very delicious 😋
Nice food and friendly staff. You need to check how much you are being charged for your shopping - twice recently I have been overcharged, the store did refund the difference, but a hassle to have to return to get my refund. Fruit/spice hot cross buns need more spice (in my opinion).
I wouldn't consider myself, in any measure, a connoisseur of baked desserts. What I can confidently say, however, is that everything I've had from here is absolutely stunning.
The range of items available ensures that there is something to fit everyone's taste. Of those that I have tried, the titular gingerbread, afghans, and cheesecake (of various flavours) have been the highlights.
Would definitely recommend to anyone who likes high quality food.

Hands down the most amazing sweet (and savory!) treats I've ever had the pleasure of eating. Friendly and amazing, every time I walk in the door, there's always a happy smile that comes out from the back. Perfect place to get smoko treats, and I'm pretty sure he makes birthday cakes too. AND NOW HE HAS COFFEE!! This place can't be real, but I assure you, it is. Thank you for opening your little slice of heaven, it's perfection!!
Best real tasting gingerbread "people" I've ever tasted! Some shops sell a bland tasteless cinnamon blend, these ones were crisp to bite with a lovely ginger flavour. The kids all enjoyed the wonderful pink marshmallow biscuits too. Highly recommend.
