Amayjen The Restaurant - Palmerston North - Photo album

Food was ok however prices are high for the types of food offered. My venison was tough however the desert was great. The Wine was expensive as they supplied a bottle of Tony Bish Chardonnay which is $26 at New World and was more than $70 at this restaurant.
Absolutely delicious food, fantastic presentation and outstanding service. Highly recommend, best place to eat in Palmerston North if you are looking for a stand-out meal with second to none personal service; ideal for a special occasion!
Absolutely amazing restaurant. Food wasn't too expensive which was a positive and steak was cooked to perfection. Super lovely staff and we weren't waiting for food for too long either. Thorough enjoyed the Sundae for dessert too.
Visited Amayjen in Feilding and so it was great to visit their new Palmerston North Restaurant in Victoria Avenue. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal as did my friends who joined me there.
Great food though a very slow service. I had their eye fillet which was excellent. The starter was very tasty and well presented. The desert looked great and tasted fine. The service staff may need some training and the ambience is clean though a little lacking in character. Certainly lots of upside
I went there for one reason only, the lemon dessert. I enjoyed what was a fancy deconstruction of a mousse-like cheesecake. It was lemony, creamy, rich, not too sweet and very pretty to look at. I'm keen to go back and try a proper lunch next.
We waited a long time after ordering our meals, even checked in with the waitress on how much longer it would be. I will say we were a party of 9 and it was peak dinner time. When the food finally arrived it was absolutely amazing. Everyone loved their dish and could not fault it. Presentation was g
My girlfriend and I booked a table for dinner. The food was outstanding. The beef cheek literally melted in my mouth. And don't get me started on the dessert, The Lemon was scrumptious. We will definitely be back. 10/10.
A very lovely meal and possibly the best scotch fillet I've ever tasted

Great lunch menu with a range of dishes suited for everyone, drinks menu had a good selection, staff were all friendly, venue looks gorgeous! Food was also amazing and at a great price. Dumplings come w
I have been to Amayjen twice and both times I have absolutely loved everything I've ordered. I got the steak both times - cooked to perfection with great accompaniments, the cocktails are outstanding and at the time of visiting the deserts were the apple (10/10) and the cube (11/10) The booth seatin
10/10 overall for service & atmosphere. We had the breads and dips and Brie cheese for start, all flavours were lovely. 9/10 Then for main I had the eye fillet and got extra Mushroom & Béarnaise sauce. Sauces and jus were quite strong but my eye fillet was cooked to perfection 👌🏼 Potatoes were lov
From the moment we walked in to the time we left the service was impeccable. Scotch filet was cooked to perfection, the taco dessert was like eating a velvet cloud! The gin menu was incredible! Totally recommend!!!
Great service & everything came out in good time. The lamb and beef mains were prepared well and cooked to perfection. Good dining experience.
