I had the mince and cheese pie, which was a little too peppery for my taste and could of used a little more cheese but was still OK... The Muffin was really nice, light and fluffy... I liked that the milkshake was served in a glass... I liked that my Aunty's coffee was served with a pretty design...

Ronnie's under new management because it's been awhile since I've been, the experience primo, excellent food , clean , service great, English very clear. Awesome Ronnie's Papakura 5 star.

Coffee and food was absolutely delicious. Portions are hefty so be prepared to be rolled out of the Cafe when you're done lol. Soo many different options and so willing to accommodate to dietary needs (currently on keto). The only thing missing was a little background music but otherwise the experience is exceptional. They have gained a new ongoing customer here 🤗 thanks for the amazing coffee soo very happy.

This is a lovely cafe. I love the service from staff there right down to the food I've ordered. My coffee is always made how I like it. Keep up the good work Team Ronnie's Papakura. You never disappoint. 👏👏👏

We came here for lunch. We had poached eggs on toast. They were amazing. The eggs were done to perfection. Service was quick and friendly. The cafe space is open and covers a big area. We sat in their comfortable arm chairs. A very pleasant luck at a very reasonable price.

Love it here... Every chance I get I have a kids menu..cheap & enuf for me & a cuppa tea for 1...

Prices for the slices (caramel, etc) were really good, compared to the $5 at a bakery just up the road. I also tried the feijoa smoothie and really enjoyed it!

Always come here at least once a week.. food is always on point.. staff are friendly.. prices are affordable.. best eggs Benedict with salmon.. tried almost everything here.. never disappointing.. love this place..

Sunday Palm 2018 ,Me and my niece found Ronnie's Cafe open and was very happy of course. I ordered me and Eggs Benedict and a Mixed Berry pan cake to share. My niece fancied a Chicken Burger with Fried. Very good sized portions we enjoyed the mixed berry pancakes, my niece loved her chicken burger and as for me I felt let down with the sauce on my eggs Benedict only because it wasn't to my liking it had a sour taste to it as I'm used to the creamy taste. In all I will still visit again.

A large cafe on Papakura's main street, with an eclectic flow of patrons, Ronnie's has a big roster of cafe-style offerings to satisfy its clientele. In addition to a reasonable a la carte of casual dishes most of which are well-portioned, they also sport a full-on cabinet of sandwiches, baked goods and even trays of pasta. It's all fine, including passable service times, as long as you don't expect too much from a casual lunch. <br/><br/>What I most enjoyed were the berry pancakes (($13-50). I hadn't eaten pancakes in several years eschewing them as sweet impostors unncessarily taking the place of savoury delights before desserts but these here filled me with pleasant pleasure. The pancakes by themselves had nice taste disclosing good quality batter roasted well, there was whipped cream for clouds of contrast, a berry compote lined the pancakes for a flavourful underline and while the berries per se did not sing, the maple syrup with its simple strong sweetness tied everything together. What a lark ! <br/><br/>Alas banana pancakes, which looked better than the former, were not similarly fetching, the pancakes themselves indistinctly forgettable, with gratuitous shoving in of layers of bacon in a dish which could have been brilliantly purely vegetarian, whipped cream was elbowed out of the plate, no labour of doing a banana compote to afford resonance, with the caramelized banana giving no hit of flavour either. Moral of the story : what looks better does not necessarily perform better. <br/><br/> Chicken Burger was just okay, with brie proving some creaminess but it lacked the kind of mean flavouring that this sort of burger needs to stand up to the elemental power of a hamburger (I have abjured the latter). It was priced at $10, with fries at $3 extra and drinks again separate if you want them. For a cafe of this size, they could do with a tighter price deal on these crucial orders. Omelette with embedded bacon ($13) was decent and quite fluffy. <br/><br/> I made the mistake of getting a sandwich too in addition to an order of roasted mushrooms presuming that the former per se might not be enough. Meaty, well marinated and served with toast and butter, these succulent morsels then proved plentiful enough for someone's weekly recommended mushroom intake. I should have realized that Ronnie's feeds its customers well with any of the menu selections.

Today my cousin and I went to Ronnie's for breakfast. The food was great! I had eggs Benedict which was yummy, the Hollandaise could have been better though, it was a little bland!

Average cafe, been there for good coffee but didn't get what i was expecting. Not gonna recommend to my friends. Ok for one time but not for often visit.

This place is great! We come here often for brunch and always order from the menu! Amazing food for an affordable price and service is always outstanding! Highly recommended!

Love this place! The food is really good and the prices are so cheap, but the best thing is the service, the owners at Ronnie's are so lovely! Definitely recommend.
