Review Stampede - Papakura

Had lunch for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Warm atmosphere, friendly staff. Steak was underwhelming but decent. All other foods were delicious. Desserts came out a nice warm temperature. Total of 5 meals, 2 platters, 1 glass of wine, 1 soft drink & 4 desserts came to approx $300.

Friday 27th November 2023: Quiet Friday night, perfect for us. Ordered shanks, cheesy garlic bread, squid ring entree & scallop/prawn hot plate. Food was beautiful no complaints there but we opted for everything to come out together which I wouldn't have if I'd known it was going to take 40-45 mins. Will opt for your entrees first in future. My first time here but will give another go for sure.

Love the cowboy theme decorations and atmosphere. Friendly staffs and delicious food. We went there for all you can eat pork rib buffet and it definitely worth every penny you spend. Pork ribs were tender and juicy. Love their side dishes coleslaw as well, not too sweet. :) Will go again

First time here. Lovely atmosphere, staff was kind and lovely. Good was delish. Those lamb shanks are just melt in the mouth delociousness. Will be back again.

What a beautiful community feeling. Very warm welcoming environment that that caters for the whole family even that uncle or auntie. My daughter gave her brownie a 10 out of 5 the other 5 was all around her face but it was a happy face. The staff were so accommodating that it essentially made the whole experience more relaxing so we could enjoy our meal. Can't wait to come back again and try everything on the menu. Lastly the patrons there were the cherry on top that I could not help but smile.

The food was great, the staff was great, everything was great. Hot, quick, family friendly.

The pasta was delish, the pink lady cocktail was just as good!!!. There steak was the bomb!! The food was just great overall. All the workers had great customer service aswell. Such a welcoming atmosphere too, will be back there for sure 👌

The food was really good. We had lamb shanks and scotch steak. The kid had a grilled salmon and we also had the fried chicken. Only problem was the time it took to get the food. A long wait. Also for the ice cream with the kids meals. His long died it take to prepare an ice cream fill... All in all, a good experience!

After a bit of a wait near the front door, we were able to get a seat in the restaurant which wasn't particularly packed. Great and efficient service once seated at a table. The shared entree was extremely generous and extremely enjoyable. The lamb was definitely the highlight of the night and it just fell off the bone with a good mash to compliment. The ribs main - sauce was undeniably delicious but I thought the ribs were slightly overdone, while the ribs in the entree platter were extremely soft and enjoyable. All in all, a great feast for reasonable pricing

Wonderful place to eat. I had a steak meal for $25 steak, chips, salad and sauce. This was from the lunch time special menu that ends a 2pm each day. Counter girls were good too. Fridays is half price deserts.

First time dining there. Great service. Beautiful food. I ordered the 300g Scotch Steak meal and the chrispy chicken tenders entree. Some of the "patrons" were a bit loud but overall I throughly enjoyed dinner.

Dined here for Sunday lunch with a table of 4 plus a toddler. Awesome service, food was great and the dining area and staff were very hospitable. Staff checked in to ensure everything was to our liking and meals came out in great timing, no long waits in between courses or anything. Thank you team, we will rave about our meal to our friends. The sharing platter entree and steaks were a highlight for sure. And we will be back 💕

Enjoyed the setting with its Western rustic theme. Ribs were really tasty - big portion size too! Shelly who served us was very friendly and helpful. She kept coming back to see if we were alright, needed anything and enjoyed the kai. Not many places have that kind of service anymore! Kia ora.

Awesome menu. Almost always you get what you want. Good quality food. The wait time was insane when we went because there was only one chef. He was nice enough to come to our table to give us a heads up for the prep time. Price is quite reasonable. Parking can be a pain though during busy times.

Loved our server, Shelly. She was friendly, helpful and went "the extra mile" to provide service. Wonderful staff member who is a credit to the Stampede establishment. Kia ora!
