Review Ishtar Restaurant - Papakura

The food was amazing and cheap but these guys have the best service! I forgot something at the restaurant and sent an Uber to pick it up, they took it all they way out to the car and verified the driver for me. Highly highly recommend them! We’re from Australia, and we’ve never had suck good, cheap middle eastern food before!!

Love there’s Naan and Iraq bread there.🥙🍞 🌯Kebab Beef wrap & 🌯kebab chicken wrap also taste nice. 🫘🥣Lentil soup goes well with the Iraq bread great. Salad was alright, if you have a sour taste bud ho for it. 🍋🥗 🫖Iraq tea? emm, was not that special I thought honestly, oh yeah and also charge extra for refill 4bucks for each person which is pretty unusual I think🍵 (🫣) Baklava ? 🍰 Too sweet for me honestly, I had a bite and I just can’t go anymore, but I like the nuts topping though. 🥜 (not quite recommend if you not having sweet tooth) choose something like brownies will better .

I and my partner thoroughly enjoyed our date-night here 😊😊 was on a Friday night, service was outstanding! We had an amazing waitress, a young girl and also I believe the owner taking care of us. They constantly checked on us making sure our meals were okay and we had everything we needed. I have to say everything that we ordered was cooked to to perfection and had so much flavour. If you’re a person that doesn’t like spicy food like my partner this is an ideal place the food is not spicy but flavoursome. Also if you’re a big fan of Shisha this is a awesome spot, I have my own pipe at home and like my Shisha to a high standard 😊 the bar is set very high here in terms of 1.quality of flavour, 2.clean pipes, 3.portions of coal and 4. consistent service including Refills. To the owner and staff that served us thank you for an amazing night and keep up the great work 😊🤙

I may have a slight Ishtar addiction! I love this place, best Mediterranean restaurant in Papakura, it’s always a delight to see the friendly staff they make you feel right at home! I’ve had almost every dish at Ishtar now but my favourite has to be all the lamb kebab dish & milkshakes/mocktails Highly recommended!

The best middle eastern restaurant here in Papakura. Nice ambience, good customer service and the food is reasonably priced. We will definitely come back 🤗 We had the Chicken tikka dish and the mixed tikka kebab 🤤🤤

I had the chicken tikka on yellow rice takeaway last night. Everything was perfectly cooked and the dish was full of flavour. I love it! I'll be back 😊

Delicious! For got the pictures but we had the Platter, breads and hummus , fries and salad, was perfect for parents and 2 teens with a few leftovers to have for lunch tomorrow 💚 Staff very friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable.

Amazing service! It had been really hard to find some enjoyable middle eastern food and this place did not disappoint. Keen for some local flavoursome middle eastern food? - this is a must visit!
