Review Ambience Cafe - Paraparaumu

Just finished the most excellent breakfast we've had on the Kapiti Coast! Corn fritters were VERY good, there's a little seasoning in there that made them different to other establishments. Kudos to the chef! Our server was a really lovely younger girl, we noted her excellent attention to customers. Great atmosphere, great food, great service. Well done Ambiance cafe! Will definitely be back!

Great coffee, good breakfast selection. Really friendly staff. Best cheese scones apart from my own. Good location. Will eat here again.

This space is the bomb. We are now regulars and is always treated with respect. I recommend this cafe due to its healthy options of Keto friendly and vegan and the likes. We appreciate the delicious food. I specifically like the Keto Cheese cakes and loaded wedges.

I highly recommend this place. Not only does it suit your dietary needs it is also absolutely delicious. Couldn't say anything bad i also dare you to try the cake stand as just by looking at it you'll want to take the whole thing home. will be back!

This mōrena I decided to call in to #ambiencecafe for some kai and kāwhe and a smoothie. I was not disappointed. Everything was perfect. Service was excellent, atmosphere lovely, kai was scrumptious, kāwhe perfect and smoothie, delicious. This may be my favorite café in Kapiti. Over the next few months, I'll know 😉🙃😊. Highly recommended. Call in and see for yourself.

I left Wellington at 10am to beat the crowds. Restaurant quality food. Great service, friendly staff, great prices. Great watefront location. Relaxed vibe. I can't wait to come back. Ambience Cafe is a must do on the Kāpiti coast.

Delicious food but incredibly slow getting the coffees out. Took 25 minutes after we ordered. Also, why do you give only one piece of toast for a bowl of chowder??? I appreciate that they were busy, but that's what happened, and obviously, not only to me.

Lovely cafe and by the look of how busy they are, I would say they are one of the favourite spots for Param locals. They have a great menu that also caters well for keto minded people. Their desserts are to die for 😄.

Went here for lunch after a Sunday drive up the coast. Place was fairly busy and a little chaotic. The spare tables all had the previous customers plates and food on them. Took a while to get these cleared. Staff were friendly and helpful when they finally got to us. My wife ordered a keto meal. Fantastic that this is an option, but she found the meal a little small (or price a little high) for what she got. Was tasty though. I ordered a filo with a side salad. The filo was really nice but the salad had peanuts through it which was a surprise. To be fair, The menu does say to mention any allergies to staff, but I wasn’t expecting peanuts in a rice salad. Luckily I’m not severely allergic and was able to pick them out.

Went for lunch. This cafe has an amazing keto range of food. Service very prompt. The food was well presented and tasted as good as it looked.

A favourite place of mine. Today I tried the seafood chowder and while flavours were delicious it was a little heavy handed on the surimi in it and no mussels. So not likely a dish I woukd order here again. Service and atmosphere fantastic as usual.

My favourite cafe ever! Discovered this place a couple of years ago and Since then I come 2-3 times a fortnight and I live about 30-40 mins away 😊 food is so yummy and lots to choose from. Staff are always friendly.

It was amazing to find a cafe with such an extensive keto menu, would love of your recipes. Whenever I'm in Wellington I'm definitely going to call in again.

Another lovely breakfast and coffee ☕️ before the market. Quite busy but quick service. Parking outside if you're lucky or on nearby streets.

Excellent location on the sea front. Near to the high street. Some great views close by, as you can see from the pictures. Would recommend. With regards to the Cafe, the decor is nice and clean and the staff are friendly. If you order a cake expect something big. My father ordered a carrot cake and it was as big as his head. I ordered a curried pita bread. You can pay extra for more garnish, however, it did come with a small side salad which was enough for a lite lunch. Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Really nice location, right across from the beach. They have a big breakfast and lunch menu with lots of vegan and vegetarian options. I wasn't impressed by their clam chowder but the veggie breakfast was yum.

It's been my cafe for years,used to go with my daughter & granddaughters every week for breakfast it was our family tradition,now they have gone overseas to live I still go. It's changed location but everything is still great

We called in for a late lunch/early dinner of sorts and the meal I had was nothing short of outstanding made with care, love, and, was hearty, the banana cake, coffee and excellent service impressed us no end. We’ll be back without hesitation.

Just sitting eating a very badly made vegetarian breakfast. Rock hard poached eggs, soggy cold toast, disappointing for $20 each, also incorrect coffee order brought to us, then when correct one brought, one spilt all in saucer. Would i recommend or come back, not at all

Had breaky there for the first time in a long long time and it was amazing! Also went in for fluffies this morning and for $1.50 each my girls were well looked after!! We've found our new fluffy stop and will be going out for more breakfasts now we've found a gem!

My lunch today was so good, had the chicken,cranberry,cashew & Brie filo. It was delicious, my husband ordered with a salad & that was so good too, rice salad was lovely as was the usual salad, staff friendly & filled up the dog water bowl for our pooch, look forward to coming back again
