Great local Italian restaurant. I had the wild venison salad with roasted beetroot sticks. Absolutely delicious. The pizza are good here too. Busy wee place for Saturday lunch. They also do breakfast & dinner. Friendly service. They have a gelato chiller just inside the door presumably for cones. Heaps of parking.

Was introduced to this place for a works meal, and honestly I’ll never rue that day! Went back again a week later. The pasta is how it should be, the flavours and ingredients authentic to Italian cuisine (like using guanciale). The pizzas are spot on, amongst the best I’ve had (and I’ve had them in Naples) - the tomato bases have so much flavour in them. The chilli oil on the tables is hot, and delicious. Warmed olives was a new one for me and it is my new favourite thing! The tiramisu and gelato were perfect.

Absolutely delicious! The food was amazing and the perfect amount. Super easy to order delivery via the website with good communication once ordered. Food was delivered before the time stated (it was a Wednesday night) and hot.

An excellent Italian restaurant, in the middle of New Zealand, the owner of the place is an amazing Italian, the food is so delicious and meticulously prepared, one of the best I've ever eaten in my life, courteous, inviting and smiling service, in short, run to the restaurant and thank me afterwards

We took the new highway - Transmission Gully and dined at Passo last night. The ambience, the decor was so cosy and friendly. Their new menu was such a delight as there was such a huge range of pasta and pizzas to choose from. My husband & I started with their pizza garlic bread. It was so satisfying and huge 🍕. For our mains, I ordered a vegetarian tomato based pasta and my husband ordered prawns pasta in white sauce. It was such a good portion and the taste was so authentic. Can easily say one of the best 👌 pasta we've eaten so far. For dessert I had to order their creme bruleé, and my husband had the traditional Italian super sweet cake - the cassata 😋. We had a really good time and our total was $105 including drinks. Our service was prompt and smooth. We will be back for some more Italian food ❤️

We were very impressed with the food and wine and service. The cafe looks very unassuming from the outside but don’t be fooled by that. The dinner we had was the best we had eaten for many months, highly recommended.

Just amazing!!! We were greeted with a friendly smile and even though they were quite busy we were seated right away followed by water and didn’t had to wait long before we could order our food & the time it took to arrive . All the staffs were super friendly that made us at ease as it was our first time here. The warm salad was very lovely and so was the bruschetta. Loved the pizza base! From the ambiance to the food & drinks to the service, everything was spot on. Everything was so fresh & super delicious 😋. Very impressed!!! First time here but definitely won’t be the last. Ticked all the boxes for us. Keep up the great work 😃 p.s we ate the pizza very fast so wasn’t enough time to take a pic of that 😉
