I have heard good reviews about this shop that stirred up my curiosity. It did not disappoint! Their menu was well priced and the battered fish I got was superb. Perfect balance of fish and batter, not to mention it's crispness. Their chips were done quite well with the outside fried to a crisp and the inside nice and fluffy.
They sell an array of fresh seafood as well and take orders in advance. They have a few benches outside the shop where you can enjoy your meal fresh.
Definitely will come back for more, and if you are not from Kāpiti, this is worth the drive.

Decor may be a bit lacking but the freshness of the seafood and the value of the fish and chips speaks for itself.
Recommend the fried mussels and scallops.

Great seafood chowder @$10 punnet, enough for two. Variety of fresh fish, generally cheaper than supermarket price & you can choose your fillets to takeaway or have cooked. Hot chips are really good.
Just fantastic to go and select your fillet from the fresh fish and have it cooked .. plus the team is always friend.. great prices and quality

Best fish and chips I have had since I’ve been in New Zealand. Fish was amazing, hot and crumbs crispy. Cooked to perfection. I wish we could get fish and chips this good In Australia
I will never cook fish again now that I've tasted this beautiful food. The freshest most perfectly cooked seafood we have ever had..thank you SO much! This has now become our favourite go-to every Monday night. Delicious!
Best value fish & chips I've had in ages. Fresh and comparatively cheap. Only issue is the wait time, but that's just because of its popularity with the locals. Definitely phone in your order.
