Review Tom Thumb - Paraparaumu

Great little spot for healthy food and drinks tucked away just a few minutes walk from the beach. The menu and cabinet food selections are all house made with high quality ingredients and with vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and keto options, so something for everyone. The shop is fairly small, so primarily focused on takeaways but there are a few tables available to enjoy the bright cozy atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

Ka pai mōrena from #tomthumb Cafe. This morning's breakfast spot, such a lovely little cafe, someone tried to turn it into a drive-thru. It's great to see the front window in place. Atmosphere was lovely with really ka pai music playing, sounds of a busy kitchen making all sorts of kai and Parāoa. Service was excellent, kai was absolutely delicious, kāwhe was perfect, I had two, lol.

Stumbled across this wee place on a visit out of the city. Not found many places in Kapiti with the quality we're use to but these guys beat many city cafes. $12 scrambled eggs (little extra for bacon etc). Not only is the presentation beautiful, but I can not fault any tiny detail. Absolutely delicious! We will be back 😃

Our favourite cafe! Everyone at Tom Thumb is super friendly and welcoming. The food and coffee is delicious here. I highly recommend making this your local on the coast. Just up from the beach too- great for takeaway coffee and food to enjoy while strolling alongside the waves. 🙂

The food is healthy and so tasty. They have vegetarian options. Everything is made fresh on the premises. Beautiful cheese scones. Love the bacon and egg butties and the Buddha bowl 🥣

Absolutely BEST COFFEE Kapiti region, fabulous food cooked onsite and very friendly welcoming ladies. My favourite stop for coffee, brunch or lunch.

Beautiful food. Service was so friendly. Two outdoor tables were great to sit in the sun, watch the friendly folk go about their life. The dogs were welcome outside.. This was my first visit upon a recommendation about the quality of their salads. For breakfast we had the fried egg special, with vegan feta(which surprised me) and house made baked beans with a spicy kick.. Absolutely beautiful breakfast.i am returning.

Coffee was really good. They were busy with catering, so their food was limited. We had cheese scones - delicious! They also went out of their way to accommodate for hubby's sweetener request. G

A hidden gem on the Kapiti Coast. My partner is GF/DF and vegetarian so it’s always hard to find places that cater for him. There were many options for him at Tom Thumb which is rare. Lovely food, great coffee and wonderful people.

Always love to go to Tom Thumb cafe. Welcomed by name and a smile every time. The food is also amazing and even better... so good for you. The range is great and if you want to change it up they are so accommodating. Super lucky to have such a great spot close to home.

Awesome service, nice food. I went there for the vegan options. Didn't really like the caramel slice but that's just a matter of taste, nothing wrong with the slice. The coffee cup was a bit small but dunno if that's coz my partner ordered a small 😊 Definitely go and check it out.

Nice little place limited food but what I saw looked really nice. Just on my morning walk and had a coffee. Very lovely friendly staff there are bite size bits look nice but for just bite size find them over priced

This place is a favorite of mine. Always delicious food and yummy specials. One of the best cafes in wellington region.
