Review Cafe Lane - Paraparaumu

Well, that was a very pleasant surprise. The old Icecream Parlor has gone and is now #cafelane Still the lovely views over to Kapiti Island. Excellent customer service. Top kai and kāwhe. Atmosphere was .... I just couldn't quite put my finger on it. Ka pai background music, ka pai hum and vibe from the staff, the kitchen and chatter amongst the customers. It's definitely worth a visit, and I really enjoyed doing so.

Food was nice and filling, the only reason I gave 4 points was because they don't have a toilet on site and you have to use the public facilities across the road.

Absolutely delicious pancakes! The service was fantastic and they staff were super friendly. Also, they were very accommodating about me not wanting the topping combinations. Would definitely return!

Had the Rosti with poached egg, was very good, well cooked, plenty of spinach and sauce and the Rosti was very tasty.

Cafe Lane is the quintessential old school cafe style. The food isn't ridiculous and modern. Its exactly how good food is supposed to be. The eggs ben are always perfect and the staff are lovely. You can sit outside with your dog and they will bring your food a sometimes a treat for ya m8. Very welcoming place.

Now our favorite latte stop and you need to try the fresh baked bread 🍞 makes the best sandwich and wicked toast.

Grand Boys really enjoyed their Plate of Wedges, nice big helping.

One of my most visited cafes, you know what you, re going to get great food and great service. If you score the right table the bonus of a sea, and island view is yours to enjoy.
