Review Soprano Italian Caffe - Petone

2 words....Crazy Good! Thanks to our host Anthony, The Chefs and crew for an outstanding Italian experience. Honestly the best Pasta I've tried. This restaurant is another great addition to the Petone food scene on Jackson. Unbelievable food, exceptional service and nice relaxed atmosphere. Thanks, we will be back for more!

I had been intending to visit Sopranos in Petone for some time and it didn't disappoint. The food and service were excellent and we loved all the little different spaces for dining. I also enjoyed the interesting decor. The prices were also very reasonable. I would honestly say that this was the best dining experience I have had for some time. Highly recommend!!

We had a group of four people, we had a wonderful dining experience! The food was not only delicious but also served with exceptional service. The gentleman who served us was incredibly knowledgeable about the wine selection and provided us with great recommendations. The warm and friendly welcome added to the overall positive atmosphere. Despite the small space, it felt cozy and intimate. I highly recommend this place for a delightful culinary experience. We all tried the special of the day which was ( The slow cooked beef pasta dish & the fish of the day on risotto) the best pasta dish we ever had. Decent portions and the divine dishes certainly made our night.

My absolute most favourite restaurant! The food is always amazing and the service is outstanding from the wait staff to the chefs who always say hello when coming in. We go here regularly and when we went last night, as always, we were made to feel very special and had the most perfect evening so thank you. I also LOVE the maze like layout and when you book, it’s a surprise which room you’ll be in. Please don’t ever change or close!

Cosy romantic back room table on a cold rainy night was the perfect set up for date night. The service was very prompt and food came soo very quickly . The calamari delicious and flavourful, we had the seafood pasta to follow which was OK not alot of seafood and the prawns were well over cooked and chewy we finished our meal with the flour less chocolate cake which was Devine and paired perfectly with the berry sorbet. Would go for a different main next time but the starter and dessert saved the meal.

Fabulous good quality steak cooked exactly how I wanted. A bit more expensive than I usually pay but worth it. I'm planned to go again. Next time I'll book as they are so popular and I was very lucky to get a seat just walking off the street

I went here for my friend's birthday dinner and it was such a great experience! The food was well presented, full of flavour and had a range of food for different dietary requirements such as gluten free, vegetarian and vegan. It was also nice and warm due to the heaters being on yet to an appropriate level. The staff were also attentive and made sure our meals were up to standard while they were also really busy with other bookings. I would definitely recommend.

The food and service in this place is great. The food is tasty, well presented and the prices are good. The mains are offered in two sizes and prices. The menu offers plenty of choices with lots of gluten free and vegetarian options. The staff and atmosphere make it a cosy, relaxing place to eat, with lots of small rooms converted to dining rooms. Will definitely go back and would recommend for a lovely night out as a date night or a group of friends.

We stayed in Petone last week. Went to Soprano on Thursday night - what a lovely place and the food was excellent. A great experience - so great we had a takeaway meal from Soprano on our last night in Petone and that was delicious too. I would definitely recommend to friends.

I can't wait to visit here soon. I made an enquiry about meal options for my gluten free and dairy free son and have had the most wonderful response. Tish has advised what they can offer and is happy to offer gluten free pasta and has made suggestions for the calamari which sounds divine. So many establishments put our dietary requirements in the "too hard basket" yet they embraced my enquiry with enthusiam! Thank you from a delighted Mumma!

I had my 50th birthday in the front of the restaurant 2 years ago, it was a fabulous experience, nothing was a problem and having a set menu (choices) was great, I have been back on many occasions with friends and family with the last time being last night, Sopranos have never let us down, service, food, price and atmosphere are A1. It is definitely our restaurant of choice !!!!

Excellent meal.However a lesson in waiting tables would go a long way .Plates collected after a meal are not to be scraped together nor stacked up in front of the seated customer. Wine is not to be lassoed by the waiter between the legs and opened .These are really basic ABC s of restaurant service and it let the ambiance of Sopranos down. Could do better.

The service was excellent. The food was good kiwi Italian not really authentic but a nice meal. Portions tended to be large.

I love this restaurant! But would be perfect with aircon when the weather is so hot as today!
