La Marseille crepe is just THE BEST! Cheese sundried tomatoes, pitted olives, baby spinach, feta, hazelnuts and basil leaves 🤤 Service is great, food fabulous! Go try as long as I can still get a seat.

Friendly staff, coffee was lovely, and the vegetarian muffin was beautiful

Simple and delicious. Typical understated French simplicity, but delicious. We all enjoyed our breakfast /brunch and was just what we wanted. Between the 4 of us we had French toast, crepes and the big breakfast. Would go again, so I can have the French toast this time! Crepes and French toast had options of different fillings, coffees were perfect. Some cabinet good available too.

Cute little cafe on Jackson street. Went yesterday and got served by two American girls that were lovely! Food was good, cafe could do with a touch up but service was great!

I have just had the BEST leek & potato soup that I have ever tasted! Such friendly staff and nothing was a problem. It was presented to me nice and hot in a takeaway cup with a piece of yummy toasted french roll. Just perfect on a cold wintery day.

Our first time here, absolutely blown away with how delicious these crepes are!!! I chose the cheese, mushrooms, potatoe and chive (usually with bacon) and asked for blue cheese instead - amazing!

Fantastic little Fench Cafe, Delicious food and friendly staff. Nice and clean and plenty of healthy options to choose from. A must to visit in Petone.

Having owned and operated first class restaurants for over 30 years . This would be one of the best breakfasts I have ever had 10 /10

Vegetarian Petit dejeuner and saumon croissant was really nice, took a little bit of time but if I know upfront that's fine.

It was hard to walk out of My French Larder after having breakfast there. The smells are amazing, the staff are nice and the food is absolutely incredible and everything bar the bread is made in house. Only slightly on the more expensive side, but for what you get it's a bargain. All the food in our group of 7 was generously portioned and very high quality. Only gripe is the long black shot was a bit over run. On my next trip down wellington way I intend to be stopping by again :)

The food here is absolutely delicious. Coffee was average but the food is just freaking good. It's well worth a visit in Petone and I would certainly go there again. Service was efficient and very friendly. It's definitely an asset to Petone, and the experience was surprising and memorable. Good stuff.

Our party of 4 shared some pastries and dessert. My two kids basically inhaled 4 danishes between the both of them. Mille Feuille was buttery, airy, light, and just sweet enough but not too much. Macarons each had good flavors of their own, gluten free so my husband could eat it. Son had the dome cake which had a lovely, tangy orange cream icing. Only reason for the less than perfect review was the coffee (not bad, but not great).

What a lovely spot amongst the cafes of Jackson Street , Petone.
Me and Miss Muffin have been meaning to go in here for a while now and the opportunity came today. We met friends in there this morning and we all enjoyed our food and the lovely service.
Between us we had 3 crepes and a chocolate croissant. My favourite childhood crepe was on the menu and I just couldn't resist the lure Nutella and coconut. It was perfect and the best crepe/galette I have had in New Zealand. Having grown up living close to France and being frequent visitor , I have eaten my fair share to judge.
The only thing that may disappoint is the Nespresso coffee served. If you go knowing that you should leave as happy as me. I actually rather enjoyed my coffee.

Awesome desserts. Arrived looking for something sweet and was totally spoilt for choice at very reasonable prices. So much to choose from. I will be back.

The low rating is for the coffee only. The cafe atmosphere is lovely, staff are friendly, and I have no doubt their food and other drinks are worth trying.

BUT...I just had the worst coffee in my life. I saw flat white and latte on the menu, so assumed they knew how to make them. I asked for a large (2 shots), but while they agreed to make it (and charged me $5.50 for it), it came in a soup cup and was a terrible experience. After a few sips, I had to throw it away. They use Nespresso coffee, and overheated the milk. It was worse than any coffee I've had, and definitely not worth the price.

I highly recommend that they take these hot drinks off their menu, or ensure their staff know how to make them properly in the future. Or advertise that they are serving Nespresso, so people know up front what they're getting.

I have eaten and drank here a number of times. I have seen people say is it slightly expensive but under today's economic state I'd have to disagree and say the prices are fair. The coffee is the best around and is only equalled by one other place in Lower Hutt or Petone. Great range of food and friendly staff! All in all one of my favorite places to drink coffee in the whole of Wellington :)

Cute place..makes me feel like I'm in Europe. A bit expensive but it's fresh so I would definitely recommend to anyone. The bread is YUM! Small menu - which is done well. Nice couple of staff members.

We went for savoury crepes. A bit expensive considering the serving size, but well made with pleasing flavours. The simple sweet crepes were much better value. The canele de Bordeaux are delightful.

Tastiest and healthiest food on J Street - lovely atmosphere and hostess. Try the savoury gallettes or sweet crepes and, if you dare , a delectable treat from the patisserie
