Lovely little pub to have a feed at. Friendly staff. Good size meals. Nice decor.

Great place for a beer. The Hazy IPA was great, and the NZ Lamb was absolutely amazing, really amazing. Staff was very kind as well. Really recommend this place if you are passing by Picton.

My partner and I have been here many times and always have a wonderful time. Whether it's just for a cheeky drink or for a filling and delicious meal, I highly recommend the Thirsty Pig!

Kiwi-as, lots of great locals came up and chatted, honest pub-food with seafood you can’t find in the North Island like orange roughy (done several ways).... great spot for an old-school kiwi experience. Awesome food!!! And beer is cheap too. Local musician doing 80s kiwiana.

Had seafood chowder. Lovely. Pub was good and friendly. Food priced well. Would recommend.

Oh it was yummy. I got a summer salad with crumbed chicken breast. It was very tasty. Lovely dressing, pumpkin seeds and it was just so fresh. I was after something light so this hit the spot. My mate however ordered the steak. It looked awesome!! Good hunk of meat. Stole a couple of his chips.. had to steal a few more 🤣 Great food. Real locals pub ❤️

Great bar in the beautiful Picton area. Very clean & tidy, courteous staff and good atmosphere. Good range of beers with excellent food, worth the visit👍

Wonderful friendly and professional bar staff, the lovely 3 bar girls. Ruby, the wee gem, welcomed me every day, one of the other girls, checked on what I liked to drink and no less welcoming, I was tended at the bar by the 3rd girl. Sorry only asked Ruby her name. Would recommend this well run local bar/restaurant. I was a sole drinker but made to feel one of the crowd. Food was good which means good kitchen staff. I own a bar and know what it takes to work in one.

Fabulous place to get a beer and a Whitebait Sammie while you wait for a ferry to take you to the North Island, perfect!
