Their battered fish and mussels are amazing! Crispy, light, fluffy and taste so good! Highly recommend I went back again to try their fergie burger! Juicy and amazing!
The most delicious vege hamburger I had so far in New Zealand. Miss the taste every time when I see Burger King🤣 Will visit again when back to Picton!
Quite Cheap, amazing and crunchy chips, and absolutely breathtaking BURGER! Wow ! Must visit when you are in Picton ! I took the Fergie Burger + half scoop chips.
I have had my fair share of takeaways while traveling our country. Must say, this is one of the best. A true bacon and egg burger. Not spoiled by lettuce and rabbit tucker. Real meat patties. Good sized everything, and a fluffy but crunchy batter. Top job.
Very good take away fish and chips. This place was full of locals, which is always a good sign. Chips tasted fresh and were well cooked. All the fish we ordered was really yum, and fresh. Quite a bit of variety, and the prices are inexpensive. The wife and I pigged out on a heap of fish, and it only
Great BURGERS!! And very good fish and chips! I had the chicken cranberry burger- delicious!! Very big though- so be prepared! Also if you think that was big you’ll be in for a surprise as my son had an even bigger burger! He’s 12 and ate the Fergie. Same as my husband. Very big burgers! My dad h
Really good fish of the day and butterfish. Same for the chips! Can be quite salty though so ask for a bit less salt if you think it might bother you. Will come again for sure!
The best fish and chip we had thus far in NZ! The batter was so light and crispy, yummy!
Tasty fish and chips. This seafood basket was great and includes everything you want. Time was a bit unrealistic as waiting 10 minutes became 20. The fish was also slightly dry and chewing (possibly frozen) but the batter was great. $1 sauces were very convenient and reasonable. Definitely a decent
The food was good but as others have noted be prepared for the wait. We rang before 6 and was told there was a 30 minute wait (which was fine). After the 30 minutes we arrived and paid and waited a further 20 minutes for food. It's pricier fish and chips than in other towns but not similar to other
Easily the best battered fish I've ever had.. so crispy and yet light and fluffy..
Food was fresh and great portion sizes for hungry ppl. We had the burgers both where almost too big to get your mouth around... Loaded. Awesome food, recommend, would definitely return.
This was a great place to eat when we stayed in Picton, was a long wait which we wouldn't have minded but we were on the ferry soon and had to get off. When we tried to pull out of our order the staff wouldn't let us and that is why the rating is 4 stars. The food made up for that. Some of the best
Had kumara fries and prawns, very nice, not bad prices and good food, yet to try the fish will update when I do. Thanks, also nice staff. I've been there again a couple more times and the prawns and chips and fish bites were really greasy made me feel a Lil sickly maybe drain them out more.. thanks.
This was a real treat. The lady serving the dishes was so nice, polite and friendly. The fish and chips were delicious and the portions were superb value for money.
Fish and chips were great, squid rings were cooked to perfection!
