Visited while we were docked in Picton off the Pacific Explorer. Great experience, great food and lovely staff! Good vibe pub, all the best for the future. 😃
We stopped here for a drink before hopping on the ferry great service and to top it of they had Oysters cooked perfect !delicious
We stopped by while it was raining to wait to board the ferry. The service was quick and friendly. The food and wine was great and hit the spot. I enjoyed the fresh chicken tenders and my friend loved her seafood chowder.
Yum food and efficient staff! Would love to recommend the bar to everyone. They are so warm and they welcome me with a big smile. 😍
Had a blast here eating, drinking and watching the womens rugby finals. The food, beer and the service were outstanding!
The seafood platter was good apart from the fish bites which had a strong ammonia like taste to it. This was the only dish we had so can't comment on the rest of the menu.
A rainy day with bickering indecisive cruise ship passengers, but these guys handled it all like seasoned pros. They're always honest with wait times, but the food was worth it. Great value, and an awesome selection!

Had a really nice platter to share. Price was reasonably priced. Friendly staff. If you are visiting picton go to the Waitohi bar. Nice seating outside as well.
we arrived impromptu as a group of 19. there was one cook only and she did the most amazing job of our meals .
presentation was wonderful and flavors just as good.

Friendly casual atmosphere and delicious buttermilk fried chicken
I’m not typically one to write a review.. but the Waitohi sports bar platter was some of the best bar food I’ve had in a long time -if not ever! This paired with the amazing line up of beer on tap, & superb service, made for an outstanding experience all round! We’ll definitely be back for more !!

We booked a table(s) for 20 blokes on the hiss at short notice and I tell you something, this place delivered above and beyon
Friendly local service, a yummy seafood platter, great burgers and good quality beer and cider. Nice little outside area in the sun too. It had just opened not long ago so was quite quiet, but don't let that put you off. I'm sure it will be discovered by many soon.
What a wonderful place to eat. Staff were super friendly. The food was amazing. Ordered pork belly bites to start and wow. Delicious. Husband got a open steak sandwich. Said it was the best one he’s ever had. Had the buttermilk chicken burger and that was. fabulous. Highly recommend eating there.
Get a quick bite before the ferry. Fast service . Pepper salt squids tasty and huge portion of fries. A lot of room and tables to choose. Stayed out enjoying the fresh air
Amazing little bar and restaurant in Picton. Great selection of beer and wines and the food is fantastic. I had the monster 300g steak and it was delicious. Staff were super friendly and if you're looking for somewhere to watch a sports event while in Picton this is the place!
Great, friendly, must go to place in Picton. Easy parking outside beer garden , so close to the ferry.
