Clover Leaf Cafe - Piopio - Photo album

We found it on the side of the road. Very popular, people were in and out the whole hour we had stopped over. Its expensive but im not suprised being a small store. The service was really chill and relaxed, outdoor seating, beautiful weather. We even got free tomato sauce which i felt was a bonus. B
The staff were very friendly. The food was hot, delicious and a good size. Lovely atmosphere.
Sadly not very clean, and the service was not so good. But the food wasn't too bad
While traveling to New Plymouth we stopped at this place to have some snacks. I tried fish and chips. The chips were good but the size of the fish was small in comparison to other places and the taste was average too. Also ordered strawberry milkshake which was okay. Will recommend if you are hungry
Very nice sandwiches, fresh and tasty. Friendly owner made a good chai latte and I would expect the coffee to be good too. Interesting cake selection. Also has a typical full menu and a hot cabinet. Great for truckers passing through, easy parking on street
little old school shop, friendly people. The burgers are fantastic! just tidy yummy burgers! and the cheese burgers have LOADS of cheese! just how a cheese burger should be. i will always stop in here every time i come to piopio!
Had a delicious fish burger and a steak burger. Stopped off here after a long drive from New Plymouth. Looked very busy.
Amazing vege burgers!! Pretty rare to see vegetarian food this good outside a major city. Super lovely girl at the counter with a dedication to sanitising her hands after each transaction. Very much appreciated. Great price too!
Called in this little place while out for a drive today. So glad we did. The gentleman behind the counter was super friendly even while extremely busy. Food was very good. The Louisa slice and melting moment we're an OMG moment. Coffee was recommended by a local and they were so right...best i
The best takeaway coffee
Plain old school little cafe/takeaway, not pretentious at all just good food at a reasonable price, bit like a tiny truck stop but notable for all the locals coming in. Thoroughly enjoyed the sit in breakfast, don't need flash surroundings if the tucker is good, you can't eat fancy wall paper, so I
Had a very nice sausage roll and mini quiche with my coffee. Very obliging owner. Top marks. Older building but don't let that put you off..
This place is definitely worth a visit. Sausage rolls and burgers are super yum. Afghan was so fresh I wanted to buy a bunch to take home. Great service. Will make a point of stopping here if in Piopio even if it's just for a cookie and cup of tea. Don't stop in Te Kuiti- stop here.
Nice little Cafe. Hubby got a 2 scoop ice cream for only $4.50 - awesome value!
As expected in a small town service wise respectfully, nice lady at counter. Bit rough infrastructure but again, small town, & is really just a Kai stop. Takeaways remarkable, will def stop there again, thanks!
Dont judge a cafe (book) by its cover. The food and the service is absolutely lovely. Yes it needs a reno but you have to have funds to do that. They will get there. The cheesecakes are great and there are very few places u can find them.
Was served the best chicken burger I've had in a long time from Claudia I think her name was? She was super lovely . Had great manners & polite!
