Pleasantly satisfied with our lunch today. Hadn’t been here in years due to feeling it had gone downhill. Today my mind has been changed. Good wholesome menu and nice attentive staff.

I highly recommend Supply Room as a venue to have any function. I had me wedding reception here a few weeks ago and it was picture perfect. I couldn't fault a thing. The staff were wonderful- super friendly, professional and very accommodating, nothing was a problem. Even recommending a band for the entertainment (which we had and he was fantastic)! The food was top quality, plentiful and delicious. We were the first function to have a buffet meal there and it went off without a hitch, catering for over 80 people, our guests commented on how perfectly the beef fillet was cooked and complemented the chef. To top it off the views are stunning looking out over the sea, the perfect back drop to go with a perfect evening. Thank you so much to the Supply Room and all it's staff, thanks to you my wedding day was more than I ever imagined.

Had a great time! Excellent craft beer selection. Live band playing. We arrived at like 8.30pm and they couldn't do food. But the delicious 6-7% alc/vol beers filled us up.

Went to dinner with family (6) food was delicious, took a while to come out but one of our waitresses (Robyn) kept us informed and was friendly and polite. There was a little mix up with the size of one of the meals by a different waitress but overall a nice place to eat. We will be back.

Best time out here and the food was just amazing we had such beautiful platters which such a variety of selections for everyone. The bar Staff and owner were just amazing with our party we would definitely recommend and come back in future ☺️

Was there for a private function, so was in the upstairs function room. It worked really well as a number of us had hearing issues & being able sit 12 around a square table away from general restaurant noise was excellent. Great service too.

Great place for lunch. Staff were awesome and the food was very tasty. Also, extremely good value for money.

Celebrated my 50th birthday dinner here. I would like to thank the dinner service on Wednesday 26th April 2023. The staff were diligent and efficient, very pleasant and happy throughout the evening. Food was well presented with a savoring taste of wanting more. My family and friends were very impressed with the service. Thank you for making this special day a memorable one. You guys rock!

The team did a great job with our wedding reception in the craft beer room. Everything looked amazing and the food was excellent. Dedicated waiting staff were professional and attentive. Space was perfect. The whole evening went off without a hitch. Whilst many may not think to use such a venue for a wedding reception. we firmly recommend the Supply Room as an option - they were great! Thanks again Katie and team!

Went for dinner on a busy Saturday night - there was a large private function on in the craft bar that had arrived late which meant that their meals were ordered about the same time as ours but even though we had too wait a little bit longer for our meals (10mins or so) when the food arrived it was presented beautiful and tasted even better.!! Serving staff were friendly, polite, responsive and we even shared a few jokes ! They kept us up to date with why there was a delay to our meals and when they would arrive. Had a great time and will not hesitate to go and dine there again !

Friendly staff and real fast service considering it was Friday at 6pm.

Had a beautiful meal tonight at Supply Room. We were there with with friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food. Josh, who was looking after our table, was amazing. Thank you Josh for your friendliness and your professional service

Gluten free chicken wings (sticky sweet “soy” and crispy sriracha) were delicious, quite a few GF pub snacks on the menu. Nice atmosphere with sunny outdoor area and lovely staff

Friday night, full and you had to have a booking lucky we got a table 12 - Manager and staff were welcoming and accommodated us. The food was excellent, tasty, fresh and rich. We only ordered entrees, garlic bread to die for, fresh and crispy popcorn chicken and marinated beef mini kebabs- generous portion - YUM delicious! couldn't finish it, was able to take it home and we left early because we thought it would be fair for people whom were coming without a booking, wanting a mains - Manager and waiting staff were outstanding and very vibrant, made us feel welcomed - FIVE STARS will visit again this time with a bigger group

Seeing as the latest reviews on this place were made in 2018, I’d like to say in 2020 that I had a wonderful breakfast experience here with my partner. The food was very comforting and the flavours were simple but super enjoyable. Their milkshakes are amazing and I was really happy with the size of the milkshake and the taste was very present rather than most places where I find it’s either too icy, lumpy or milky. The staff were also friendly and came to check by to see how we were enjoying the meal just like any place should and we felt very welcome. I recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice pleasant breakfast to start your day :)

Supply Room your food was good but your customer service could be so much better. Make customers aware of specials and if they are not running let them know. Don't let parents buy their kids fill priced sofas when their are kids drinks on another menu they haven't been shown. Basically, don't shaft your customers.

I went here with my uncle’s indoor netball team when they were over from Australia for a tournament and so there were about 30 of us. Took a long time for our food to come out which is understandable but wasn’t impressed that my 10 year old sister was the last person to get her, but my mum only had to pay half the price for that meal. Also mine and my partner’s entree was forgotten about and we ended up getting it after our main, once we reminded staff about it. The customer service was really good though and the guy who waited our tables was really lovely. Food was also good.

The food was average, portions were of a good size and price was reasonable. We went at lunch time and were advised after we ordered the chicken it wasn't ready?? There was also a very very long wait.

We had a Xmas work function which had been pre-ordered and confirmation done on the day of. On arrival we confirmed that the staff could start preparing the meals and then after we had been seated were advised that some of the menu items were not available due to a lack of supplies. So a number of people had to reorder which was ‘fine’. But then on ordering dessert there was also a number of items unavailable,the communication was very poor between the kitchen staff and serving staff who have to put up with annoyed patrons. Food was ok but overall the experience was disappointing

Service was pretty good.  I had the squid which was delish and the mushroom tapa was not really worth it for 3 little muchrooms.  Very bland tasting.  Hubby ordered the beef burger which had plenty of flavour but the beef pattie was rather dry.  Overall okay

What started off as a fantastic family brunch ended up as a flop by the staff at the Supply Room.<br/>When we arrived we were greeted instantaneously by a very friendly member of staff who showed us to our table and proceeded to take our drinks order. Our drinks came out quickly and five minutes later we were placing our food order.<br/>The food came out rather quickly but this was the time where things started to slowly go south. <br/>The food was immaculately presented. My wife had ordered the BLAT and was a little disappointed that the avocado was pretty much guacamole out of a jar instead of fresh avocado which is currently in season. I ordered the chicken burger which also was a little disappointing as the chicken was very dry and the burger tasted burnt. Never mind though. We finished the food and after waiting a while we tried to get a staff members attention to order some coffees. After 15 minutes of doing so a staff member finally saw us and signalled that she would be with us soon. 20 minutes later still no one. Our empty plates still sat in front of us even though a couple of people had been shown to their seats beside us.<br/>Having given up waiting but still wanting coffee wr went up to the counter to order them. Coffees took a little while to come and were ok but after paying we were still left dissatisfied with the food and services given by the Supply Room.<br/>With the moderately high prices they charge especially for a local pub you would have thought that the managers could hire enough staff to serve the patrons even though in my view they weren't extremely busy.<br/><br/>

So I had dinner here the other night and the service was really lovely. Customer service on point made us feel welcomed. I had ordered the chicken which I was thinking it's exactly how it says on the menu. I was very upset that it didn't state that it was a spicy dish 😡 and I HATE spicy foods. Lol. There was no flavor what so ever a big disappointment sorry but the spice over powered the whole dish for me. For those who love spice then I recommend you have this dish lol☺.<br/>For dessert I had the banana chimichanga (think that's what it's called) and it wasn't that tasty I mean come on a big plate with caramel sauce that took up the whole plate haha. That pastry that was wrapped around the banana was chewy and didn't compliment the banana well. We'll that's my opinion lol next time I'll order something else.

My friend and I went in without a reservation, but were still greeted with an inviting and friendly welcoming.  Excellent choices from the menu.  I was surprised they had Blue Cod on the menu as you don't normally see this in other restaurants.  I ordered the Cod and it was cooked to perfection!

Was excited when the Monteith's closed as the arrogant owner/manager was extremely rude to us and our group even though we frequented their quite regularly and spent a significant amount of money there. It appears that the owner/manager would rather cater to his personal friends than regularly paying customers. We walked in during the grand opening and saw him standing behind the counter, so we turned around and walked right back out and still haven't returned. The food was very average when we did frequent and were mostly attracted to the convenience of it being close by, but would rather drive to Kapiti or Wellington before ever going here again. 😕

Ate here on the way home from Wellington with three kids aged 7, 5 and 1. Excellent service, the kids were free but still had excellent meals as did myself and hubby - the fish and vegetables were well cooked and the staff very attentive.

Stopped in on our way to back to the coast and had breakfast. It was delicious. Sergeants benedict especially! And lovely coffee. Will definitely spread the word and of course I'll be back :) keep up the good work

A casual night out with a bunch of Girl Friends was perfect to spend here at The Supply Room. <br/><br/>I hadn't been there since it was Montieths, so nice to go back. <br/><br/>Arriving around 6.30pm I was pleasantly surprised at how busy it was, buzzing with people both in the Restaurant & in the bar. <br/><br/>It had a really relaxed but stylish feel about the place that I felt quite at home at. <br/><br/>I ordered the Lamb Rump, as did most of my table. <br/>It was delicious. I even ate it probably rarer than I normally do, but it was great. <br/>The rest of my table were very happy with their meals too. <br/>The accompaniments on the plate were tasty additions that complimented it well. <br/><br/>Only criticism, part of my Lamb Rump was some parts were a bit fatty, but you didn't notice it till it was in your mouth, which is not so nice, but wasn't a deal breaker. <br/><br/>My first choice of dessert the Whittakers tart was sold out, so I settled on a Dessert of Apple Pie. <br/>Honestly I was expecting Apple Crumble...but that was my fault not reading the menu properly. <br/>Still quite tasty, but would choose something different next time. <br/><br/>Interestingly that the place quietened down & winds up quite early...but maybe that is typical for a suburb bar. But with us being the last ones there at 10.10pm it was surprising. <br/><br/>Overall we had a really enjoyable night at The Supply Room & I would happily go back...even just for the Passionfruit Rekorderlig! :-)<br/><br/>Thanks for having us The Supply Room. <br/>WCx<br/>

The steak was fantastic, the steak knives were completely unnecessary - a normal table knife would have done it.  Good service, cold beer.  I've deducted half a point for it being too hot inside (the room that is, not the food) - but it was probably unusually hot outside at the time.  There were a couple of big partied all ready seated when we arrived, but the waiter told us she would get our order into the kitchen before them so we didn't have to wait all night.  Good planning.

We had a dinner reservation on Thursday night for 7:15pm for (12) twelve adults . We were there to celebrate my daughters birthday We noted that the it was reasonably busy when we arrived but were safe in the knowledge that we had a booking. I observed the bar man who was doing a good job was under pressure for most of the night, he was helped intermittedly by a female who spent most of her night on a cell phone. Upon getting to our table we told a female staff memeber that we would like to order as we had young children with us. She came to us and said that there would be a 10 minute wait for a menu which sounded odd at the time, but would become obvious as the night wore on. As time progressed we were told that due to the delay they would give us complimentary chips until the menus arrived. The chips did arrive. Some time later when the menus did arrive we were told that there was no pork belly or chicken. Orders were taken and some considerable time later we made enquiries about how long our meals would be.  At approx. 9 oclock we were informed that there was no fish and could the four people who ordered the fish please order something else, but everything else that was ordered was ready to go. Finally by 915pm, some two hours after our arrival we had had enough and left. From what was suppose to be an enjoyable family birthday that had turned into a disaster. Hungry people, poor service and a sour taste in our mouth. We won't be going back there any time soon, and I suggest you do the same.

Went for dinner last week,ordered Burger and chips,and was VERY disappointed to be served a cheap supermarket burger,thought it would at least be home made,at nearly 20.00 dollars it certainly wasn't worth it,will not be rushing back

Such a great experience here service was good and the food was AMAZING - I would definitely go back - good children's menu too
