Review Muffin Break - Porirua

Service was really great, the lady was patient and gave me some other things. The muffin I tried was not my type but just trying some new varieties of muffins. The price was worth it though. Best cafe to go to price, taste, and service wise. Highly recommend the double chocolate muffin, I grew up eating those :)

If you like good consistent coffee, speedy and genuinely friendly service, then Muffin Break at North City is for you. Whether its a quieter weekday or busy weekend, this is absolutely the best service you'll get. Consistently good coffee and food, can't recommend highly enough

The wonderful workers here are always so polite, friendly and warm. These girls honestly have the best customer service I’ve ever had at any muffin break.

Every time we visit, we receive service with a smile and well-trained and helpful staff. The food is great quality, well priced and delicious, with a great range. The loyalty scheme for drinks is also excellent.

Great tea, food and lovely ladies every time. I am always impressed by how kind the staff are and are willing for a quick chat about your day which I love. Worth the 5 stars.

Stopped here today for a quick coffee and gf muffin lunch. Whilst these were both good what made the visit, was the outstanding service from a young lady called Carol. If I owned a business, I would love her running my front of house. A1 perfect service, from her lovely initial greeting to her kind departing comments.

Consistently good coffee and good vegan muffins and other Dairy-Free options are always available. The staff are awesome and friendly.

Just went here for the first time and was surprised by how energetic and lovely the person who served us was. It's good to see someone working in hospo smile so genuinely I see it as a sign the staff are being treated well which is always important to me(:

Coffee was the best I have had from a Muffin Break cafe. Service was crisp and really polite enhanced with a really friendly smile. Nicole was the coffee maker and Shanelle was the person in charge of the counter. I'm in my forties and it is so refreshing to have friendly and efficient service backed up with a really good coffee. Well done Muffin Break Porirua.

The service today at Muffin Break North City was great. They were short staffed and quite busy but were really friendly, polite and helpful to all customers while I was there.

Staff GREAT. Had a ginger and 🤔muffin that was to die for. Just as well I can't visit ever day.

This place is consistently great. Service super friendly & efficient, food nicer than other muffin break cafes near by- coastlands!!! Coffee also much nicer here.

Muffin Breaks are consistently good. <br/>At the MB at North City Plaza, I want to particularly comment on the staff, who were some of the most cheerful friendly young people I have encountered in this environment. I observed that they went out of their way to assist customers as well as myself & my company. Just awesome!

Service was ehh. It's a really busy environment and that didn't help our experience. Also every single table was filled with dirty dishes, the entire place. The waitress seemed to just move everything around and dawdle which was disappointing ! My gluten free muffin was delicious though and my sister enjoyed her usual Apple cinnamon muffing and hot chocolate but she said the hot chocolate was terrible and the milk was not stretched properly or warm enough. Disappointing

I came here for lunch yesterday. Now this place is always busy. So, I thought I would give it a try. I felt a little peckish so I got the, Ham, cheese and tomato quiche. $4 each. It was nice, but I wasn't a huge fan of the pastry. One thing I would like to recommend though, is my friend Nicole Roberts coffee who is a current staff member there. She has amazing coffees, and she has had opportunity's to show off her skills in competitions throughout, particularly America which I remember her saying. Give it a try.
