Quality of the meal was good (and consistent to previous visits). Cappuccino (large) could do with another shot of coffee since it was lacking the coffee taste.

Even though they were really busy it was nice and clean tables being cleared and cleaned as soon as people left. The food was really good and came out much quicker than we expected but the coffee is really bad, it is very weak and basically tastes like warm milk.

Just had lunch here. Very friendly team working here. Was a delay in food but like all business illness happens. Coffee was perfect and food was good. Admit it is a bit pricey but good service and great Coffee make up for this. Great work Porirua Coffee club, I highly recommend.

First time I visit to this branch .. I love coffee club but this time I get different experience. Lovely staff .. especially the barista called Mani she is fabulous.. made me an osum coffee .. service was great .. yummy food ... thank you whole team

First visit for some time. Slight changes in menu with some better options, so good work on this change. This Cafe is one of the more expensive options in the Mall so choose wisely on what makes this different from others. Staff are friendly and welcoming, you don't get that at many places these days.

Good but have experienced a little better at other coffee clubs. You don't expect a hard cooked egg on eggs benedict you replace it.

The owner of the store was ridiculously rude to us today. She was grumpy about the fact that I was owed a VIP discount and threw my card back on the counter. When I approached her again for an apology she turned her face and refused to speak to me. Great adult attitude! Her staff looked embarrassed for her. Food was good but that didn’t make up for the fact hat we had a poor experience. Chill lady, all you do is run a coffee shop! Would love to rate a zero!

Been here a few times and I usually get the southern fried chicken strips which are yummy! My partner had the calamari and chips and couldn’t get enough of it! The staff were friendly and polite. Although we did have to wait a little bit longer than usual for our food to come out.

Ordered the peach ice tea and i was extremely disappointed the fact I was charged $6.40 for cordial and water sickens me, there was nothing special about it. I could literally go to the supermarket and purchase the same cordial you used for my tea. If you’re gonna charge that price at least put some effort into it.

What kind of big breakfast comes with a quarter of a mushroom. The pancakes were terrible, the kids didn’t like them and they made my wife gag. Had to get a refund for the pancakes. The hot chocolate was a luke warm chocolate. I would recommend avoiding this cafe

Just had brunch which was egged Benedict with bacon<br/>Well it was pre cooked with the sauce just tossed over the top <br/>The eggs were rock hard, bacon undercooked and it was lukewarm at best

Literally asked for a green tea LATTE as advertised and got some disgusting drink that tasted like sweet milk. Asked the man to put some more espresso in and and he tells me that there is no coffee in it, only milk and syrup. Doesn’t answer me when I ask him why it’s called a latte then. Girl put espresso in it and rudely brought it over. Also took close to an hour to bring our order of two meals and three drinks.

The worst coffee Club i must say. We ordered 2 flat white they served us 1 hot chocolate which we didnt order and that was really cold and other flat white was cold too after complaint no action taken the guy who served was very rude. Brownies were served in take away containers very low standard 😡

The customer service could of been better, my partner and I were constantly getting bumped into from stuff. Seating is too close together, other than that food was good but quite pricey

Ordered a slice of red velvet cake and 2 cups of coffee. First taste of the cake - dry and there was a funny plastic taste to it for some reason. Staff member came and asked if everything was alright and if we were still waiting on anything else (gotta say she said it nicely and politely), so I told her about the cake as a feedback. Her response was, in her exact words 'oh we don't make the cake we just buy it' then proceeded to walk away from our table.......

The food here is dreadful.Undercooked and most things just reheated,not cooked onsite. One meal was served with a black hair in it,was halfway through when it was spotted. Told owner who was extremely rude and said she would refund half the money for meal as had eaten half!!!!!! Fruit on meal was also off brown way past it's best. She said it was fine.??Hair was found when halfway through eating it. Not nice. My meal was cold bacon on both meals cold and tough.Appalling customer service. Owner was almost aggressive when i suggested she should refund the whole breakfast. Very expensive there. $50 for breakfast for two and food VERY substandard. I will never go back and I have since heard quite few people have had very bad experiences there both with food and service.

Food was ok. But salad tasted like vinegar. The corn fritter wasn't really a fritter. The food came out very slow. My partner got his too long after mine. Coffee was only warm. Didn't like the staff watching me eat the whole time though. Made things very awkward. Hutt store is much better

The staff there were very incompetent and the place had no good service what so ever! The nuggets looked like they were purely just oil and burnt batter, few of the fries were brown and dry as well and the salad that was served to us wasn't a salad at all !! It was very fatty and was the opposite of what you would call a salad...there was so much creamy stuff and pesto in it YOU COULD CALL IT A really BAD curry...the club sandwich wasn't any different and they didn't even give us a refund for the nuggets which we gave back and didnt even touch! Honestly we feel robbed of our money for this ridiculous food.

Although my family has eaten here quite a few times I went here for the first time and just like they said the food here is pretty good ! <br/>We ordered the iced coffee ( average ), mushroom, feta and spinach omelette ( very good), chicken parmegiana (must have, best out of the lot !), chicken fillet burger ( I've had better), Mediterranean crispizza (thin crust, great filling!), steak sandwich ( pretty good). Fries are amazing.<br/><br/>Went for the second time on 19/01/16: Had the chicken, cheese and avocado ciabatta (very nice), the mocha milkshake (delicious!), mushroom, spinach and feta bruchetta (nice) and the Spanish omelette (one of the best omelettes I have ever had!)

I came here a while ago. I ordered the chicken and bacon club sandwich at the counter and chose my seat. The lady who had served me made me feel as though I was a nuisance being there. I waited for my food, it came out quicker than I thought it would. The food was okay. I've read other reviews. It seems like the staff in this place arent focusing on how they make their customers feel. No customers, no business, no money. I refuse to put up with crap customer service!

If I could give a 0.0 rating that is exactly what these people would get. TERRIBLE FOOD. TERRIBLE COFFEE. EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Ordered Eggs Benedict and when it arrived the bread was like cardboard and impossible to cut - requested a steak knife to try and even the steak knife couldn't cut through it! Eggs were WAAAY underdone verging on not cooked at all. The entire meal slipped off the plate and into my lap trying to cut a bite off of it. Took the meal back to request a refund as the meal was COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE especially with its outrageous $20 price tag and was met with an argument from the awful "manager" woman behind the counter and an offer of only half my money back because I had "eaten" it. DO NOT COME HERE. Appalling customer service and zero interest in customer satisfaction. Money hungry, greedy owners. We will never return and will be letting everybody we know not to go there either. Plenty of other lovely cafes in the area.

A very sad bunch of staff who seem annoyed if you don't buy a main meal. This was my first time ordering from here, and most likely my last. <br/>I brought a savoury muffin and mocha.<br/>Muffin was ok, could have done with more feta (two small pieces). Mocha was pretty expensive for a regular and tasted awful, very bland and couldn't taste the slightest hint of chocolate, apart from on the topping. Obviously did it wrong.<br/>Will not bother coming back. Would rather drink instant coffee with hot chocolate, and that's saying something!

Asked for an Americano. Didn't take long to arrive but was the worst coffee ever. The worst. Was so burnt. Couldn't drink it, complained and got a shrug. No refund, no apology. We were on holiday so its not like I frequent this place but I definitely will not recommend this so called coffee café to anyone. Appalling coffee, appalling customer service.

Disappointing!!!! As everyday, today as well I went to get coffee for my team members as always. But the salesman (without name-tag) refused giving me the same deal as always being the mall staff to buy 1 &amp; get 1 FREE. As he told me that this is the last time you getting it by giving me the reason of change in management. I can afford to pay for all but it became disappointing in front of their other customers &amp; staffs. Also he had signs for American Express but he didn't accept to take it. I have been going to Coffee Club for the past 4yrs from Auckland and 1yr in North City Plaza, this happened to me first time. I guess I'll have to change my taste now.

Ordered a chicken fillet burger. When the meal came out it was served on basic white bread instead of foccacia. Had a very small side of fries. For the $19 price tag the meal was ridiculous. Also ordered the calamari ring. Very chewy and touch n absolutely greesy. When complained about the meal which I did not want in the end the took my plate away n as a complementary fish they gave me my original fries back just in another bowl. If was told they had run out of bread then I would not have ordered the original dish.

This cafe does not ever have a great number of customers and is not one we visit very often due to the poor quality of their coffee. However today we decided we would like some nachos and paid in excess of $20.00 for our order to include mince. Order arrived, no sign of any mince - they would make it again. 2nd order arrived - plenty of mince, no sign of any cheese (told it had melted - yeah right) and extraordinarily few beans - we had to search to find a couple. Were told would make again - but then they decided they couldn't make a 3rd time and get the order correct and refunded our money. The "couldn't" was really "wouldn't when pressed. Appalling service - no wonder this place has so few customers. Went to another cafe and ordered superior nachos at in excess of $5.00 less than this crowd charge.

Visited the Coffee Club for Iced Frappes and waited 15 minutes. Several others arriving after us were served. <br/><br/>When we went to check they hadn't even started making it saying their coffee machine had broken! <br/><br/>Even we know you don't need a coffee machine to make Iced Frappes. We walked out.
