This place was incredible, myself and my mum wanted to celebrate her birthday somewhere local, and I'm so happy we went here. The food was yummy ,the atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable and the staff, can I just say it's been awhile we're I have found myself having a great laugh with staff seeing all staff smiling and loved that they had regulars who came in while we were there and all staff acknowledging them.So go and enjoy

This wee gem of a cafe is amazing. Right in Titahi Bay. Beautiful fresh food, incredible staff, excellent music. Honestly so so good! Loads of GF options and keto too. Thank you for a beautiful experience 💫

First time at t bay cafe. Looks like a very popular spot, and easy to tell why. Friendly staff. Good vibes. They serve a wide variety of food and will try to cater to your dietary needs. Lots of vegan, gluten free and keto options. I tried the Te Pene Turkish eggs for brunch and I loved it. Beautifully poached eggs with garlic yoghurt, spiced Turkish sauce, hazelnut dukkah with crisp toasted Turkish bread. Yum. They serve Good Fortune coffee. Will come again. Well done :)

I arrived too close to closing time to get a fair impression, but the carrot cake was fabulous, maybe a little too sweet. A good range of teas were on offer. Google took me to the back door which wasn't it's best angle, but the front looked attractive.

I've read the reviews for this café and it's chowder. With the colder weather it is now back on the menu. All the hype about the chowder is well deserved. It is one of the best I have had in years. I would happily give it 9/10. Generous size serving with a plentiful amount of perfectly cooked seafood. It is worth traveling to get some. This was my second visit to the café. Great staff, quick service. Great menu. Check it out, I'm glad I did!

Great atmosphere. Very busy so must have a good reputation. My over easy eggs were not quite how I like it but to be fair I was not explicit with my instructions.

Slipped in for a coffee , decided to try their Herewini breakfast. Tomato, mushrooms, black pudding, bacon, breakfast sausages, hash brown, eggs on toast and in house made baked beans with a hint of cayenne pepper........Chef must have read my mind , because everything was cooked damn near 100% of the way I like it.....Coffee topped me off nicely (firecracker blend from Good Fortune Coffee Co). Nice outdoor areas , front and back , and lovely friendly staff ....Definitely a must visit if down in the "Bay".

Every time I come here I get something different and am never disappointed. Had one of the filled and toasted croissants when I was in labour and it slapped. The fact they have gluten free pancakes on the menu too is just the cherry on top.

Great coffee and fabulous food. We were very impressed. Dining companion said the burger was maybe the best he'd ever had and my Turkish eggs were delish. In the top five of Wellington-area cafés.

Was here for the Burger Wellington event. When I visited the cafe was very busy and the staff was likewise; prioritising tables over customers at the counter. Although it slightly dimmed my initial perception, overall it was great. Cosy cafe with good food 🍔

Understated cafe to go to when you want something laid back. Incredibly good at catering to gluten allergies! Great place to take kids.

Sure we have to drive there through a number of other suburbs, past other cafes, but it's fast becoming our "local". It's one of the first two places I'll direct visitors to Porirua who're looking for a relaxed space with great food and coffee.
