I feel so bad for the staff they seem always short staffed and over worked. But the food is always good so can't go wrong and their orders are always correct too

A bit disappointing that after months the menu screens still don't work so use the laminated menus. They unfortunately don't show the special deals though. I miss all the little free pickles and extras they used to do for free. But the burgers are really delicious, and yummy milkshakes. And the staff there are great. Toilets could be cleaned more frequently though.

Bearing in mind that I went there during the Christmas holidays, it was very quiet in the restaurant, but the drive-thru was busy. There was only a very small team on duty, so this made wait times a little longer. The burger was to die for - a double angus. Very nice burger, well made. The fries were nice, but too heavy on the salt. I would prefer plain fries, which you can salt yourself at the table. This is what has brought the score down. Overall, a very pleasant experience. I will definitely go there again.

The Anglo-Zanzibar War was a military conflict fought between the United Kingdom and the Zanzibar Sultanate on 27 August 1896. The Quasi-War was an undeclared naval war fought from 1798 to 1800 between the United States and the French First Republic, primarily in the Caribbean and off the East Coast of the United States

Burger well made, dearer than I would have liked for the combo $34 for burger combo plus chicken tender combo - main, chips, drink. (Careful if you park directly outside the entry door there's a raised bumper that's a trip hazzard).

Over priced burgers no good value. Tried to charge me $2.50 for a empty cup ... when questioned got the” its not me that sets the rules” line , greedy owner and not of value, unhappy looking staff - won’t be back !

This place seems to be poorly run! And the staff are mediocre at best. Went here to get the chicken tenders several times over the course of two or so months and every time they had none! I thought this was a bit ridiculous and can’t understand why some sort of alternate couldn’t be sourced. This also meant no chicken burgers so I was left with the option of the beef which I find to be quite dry.
Their desserts are definitely average. I had the cookie ice cream sandwich and it was frozen solid. Couldn’t even bite into it. I don’t like to give bad reviews because I know some things can’t be helped but every time I’ve been here I’ve had either disappointing or mediocre experiences. I’m actually surprised that the pukekohe store is still going. McDonald’s is a much better option as far as I’m concerned

Love Carl Jr but Pukekohe is not good. Inconsistent service - normally friendly but often seem under staffed. On my most recent visit was given the wrong burger (and had paid for a much more expensive one) but only realised by the time I got home so not worth driving back. Have also found the burgers to be a bit rubbery and soggy which have not had from other Carl Jr's.

I love Carl's Junior and have done since the franchise opened its doors to many adoring kiwi alike. Unfortunately I found the Pukekohe branch in particular to be quite uninviting and the service rather lack luster. I don't want to stop frequenting Carl's Junior because of one bad apple :
Fooooood
Love Carls Junior but pukekohes one isnt good at all.
Fries are ALWAYS rushed and RAW!!!!!!!! Burgers are always rushed and dry az. Need to find another chef

We visited this restaurant in Dec 2015 - Carl's Jr would be my favourite hamburger chain, but would seriously consider never using this branch again!! We had to clean everything before we sat down including the high chair and serviette dispenser!! There was dried food on everything. The level of filth was really unprecedented.

I have eaten-in and taken away from Carl's Jr Pukekohe on numerous occasions and over all I have found it rather disappointing. There burgers (especially when ordered thru drive through) are mostly warm at best and the Thickburgers are really only a bit bigger than a normal sized meat patty so not really worth the extra $4. The chicken tenders are probably the saving grace.

Great place to eat. Clean and very tidy . Yummy kids menu. I loved the zucchini fritters- they were very well cooked this time. A bit on the oily side but it was nice to eat junk food on a cold day. Nice comfortable chairs and tables . A lot better to McDonalds on the other side of the town . Burgers were very large even though it was a kids menu! This was good because the little one was very hungry n happily finished everything! Great selection of salads on the side. Over all we had a good time . But not all Carlos jr places are the same! I think Pukekohe is the best . Papakura I would give a rating of May be 2!

Best Burgers In Town. Just got to love these burgers, my favorites are Jalapeno Thickburger and Portobello Mushroom Thickburger, with Chili Fries.

Have only been here a couple of times, the burgers are good, restaurant is tidy and customer service is great, will be back.

Been here a few times, its alright, nothing to rave about.

They dont muck up the orders which is great, burgers are often lukewarm/cold unless you eat in store (i live less than 5mins away so no reason for burgers to be cold)
Em
Had a bad experience when they first opened with messy packaging and service, burgers were not that great, lids didn't fit cups, they didn't care much, just basically wanted you out with the order, haven't been back since, would like to give it another try, but not in a hurry ..

I eat here every Tuesday. For value Carls junior offers everything the other fast food outlet does and more. The help yourself salad bar is something special along with the fill your own drinks.

This place always provides prompt fast service and the food is never sloppy as you may get with other fast food outlets.

It's clean and simple. Not flash but great place for a fast food outlet.

I like Carl's Jr. The burgers are good, especially for the price and it's a nice novelty having the extra pickles and stuff you can add on and the service is always fast.
However Carl's Jr Pukekohe could do better. The onion rings are always burnt. Always.
They frequently forget things like cheese on a burger, or dipping sauce for French toast bites. It's little things like that which build up into an unsatisfying experience.
The thickshakes are orgasmic.

I quite like Carls Jr. Sometimes the wait is a bit long but I don't mind that for freshly cooked food. The shakes are THE BEST, the chicken tenders are fantastic and the burgers are big and fulling. Only a couple bucks extra than McDonalds or such and definately worth it!
John
All good for a quick feed people behind counter with a smile we will return.
