Review Bespoke Kitchen - Queenstown

Mike Ortiz
Everything was delicious! There was a line but it went by fast maybe 5 to 10 min but there are a good amount of options to decide from. There is a menu they hand you while you wait. but I think the best options are in the display case. Your baked goods, sandwiches and other items are here. Get the blueberry scone, mine was so good! Crunchy and soft. The breakfast sandwich was way better then I thought it was going to taste. The frittata and pudding my wife got were amazing too! Staff was super friendly and the food came out quick! I definitely recommend for breakfast or lunch.

4.2 | Cool atmosphere, good food, friendly service. Had the breakfast board and a scone. Board toast and chia was delicious, but the scone was rather bland. May try a different pastry type or stick to their warm food. Worth a stop!

The most delicious brunch I've had in a while! I went two days in a row (it was that good). The pancakes were incredible, the eggs and smoked salmon we're delicious and the yoghurt was great! Also their coffee and snacks were also amazing. 5 star food and service!!! Highly recommend :)

OUTSTANDING! SO tasty and delicious, huge range of delectable options to choose from, coffee is on point. It is tucked away in its little corner with a cute, cool atmosphere and vibe, super friendly and accommodating staff, highly recommend it!

The food was great, every component of th eggs Benedict was made to perfection - crispy toast, silky eggs and crispy bacon. However, the dish is $26, so I would say it’s slightly pricy for the portion. The matcha latte tasted nice, but not really authentic.

Interesting menu with unique choices. Food was good, especially the vegan Benedict. We're not vegan but gave it a try and we're pleasantly surprised! Great place to have breakfast or brunch as it is a short walk away from the Queenstown skyline/luge.

A great place for brunch. We had the eggs benedict, one portion with salmon and one with bacon. Both really good! The toasted muffin simply melts in your mouth! The flat white was really good and finally I found one in Queenstown that tastes like coffee instead of warm milk with a tiny little splash of coffee👀 It is a bit expensive, but I would love to return here one day for brunch❤️

Exceptional!!! So many vegan options and the buckwheat pancakes with raspberry chia jam, vegan chocolate spread, maple syrup and vegan cream was so decadent and delicious. I researched vegan cafes in Queenstown and this one had a number of great reviews and the cafe definitely did not disappoint. Everyone was so friendly and the fires indoor and outdoor are a huge added bonus during the snowy winter time. Will be returning again and again. Thanks so much ❄️

Best vegan food in NZ. And possibly the best vegan breakfast I've ever had. The vegan Benedict was a work of art, and tasted out of this world. The trifle pancakes....oh my god. What a pleasure to find creative, innovative vegan food. Lovely environment too.

Heads up, vegans! Bespoke Kitchen in Queenstown has some insane options. Had the Vegan Egg Benedict & Trifle Pancakes – both were straight fire. Staff was dope, vibe was cozy. Highly recommend! 🤤

One of my favorite places for breakfast in Queenstown. The food is delicious and has a beautiful decoration. I highly recommend trying: the Bircher Muesli, Chia Pudding and the Fluffy Pancakes. The coffee is also amazing. They start early (7:30 am) so it is the perfect place to go it you are an early bird.

Best sandwich in NZ! Probably didn’t hurt that I just came off the Ben Lomond Track, but their vegan sandwich (crispy tempeh, cashew cheese, pesto, and loaded with other veggie goodness) on a fresh and seedy bun was heavenly. I also had the vegan salted caramel brownie and an ice coffee, which were also incredibly satisfying. I actually went back a few hours later for a second sandwich but they were all sold out. It was so good, 11/10 recommend!

Slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of the main street, this was a great find! The staff were friendly and there are plenty of healthy food options (including vegan and gluten free) plus a lovely outside eating area to relax in. Their hemp protein smoothie was amazing and I’ll definitely be back for another!

10/10 would recommend grabbing breakfast here. Again, like everywhere in Queenstown it’s a bit pricey. But the food was yummy & the coffee was good too. Atmosphere was really nice! I think for parking it’s just street parking, I’d say most people walk there.

Our go- to breakfast and coffee spot in queenstown! Came here three times in three days. Nice breakfast options (scrambled eggs on toast, avocado smash, pancakes, etc) and a huge array of incredible baked goods, many which are vegan and/ or gluten free.

Best breakfast in Queenstown. Lovely staff. Incredible menu and cabinet food. Gorgeous in-house juices. Perfect coffee. Lots of vegan and gluten free options, all of us were satisfied whatever our dietary needs/desires. You will not be disappointed. Can’t wait to go back!

This place is a gem! We came to Bespoke Kitchen several times during our stay in Queenstown and tried different vegan dishes, everything was delicious and the food presentation beautiful. There's plenty of seating indoors and outdoors, but it can get busy and they can run out of some menu items before lunch (e.g. vegan Eggs Benedict), so come early.

Great casual family lunch/ breakfast spot. Have a good mix of healthy and treat options. I had the raw vegan snickers slice and a really fresh tempeh filled roll. The bread was suuuper fluffy. The music was quite loud which was difficult for some of the older members of our group, but this was sorted by moving outside.
Faith Leung
Great service and huge range of vegan and vegetarian options!
Hannahmareecarr2
An all time favourite and can’t recommend enough! The cafe itself is quaint, with a welcoming atmosphere. The food is incredible - always so fresh and so many options for all dietary requirements. Definitely worth a visit if you need a new local or are staying in Queenstown for a holiday!

After the restful night sleeps from our late-night evening relaxing at Onsen Spa. We woke up all refreshed, ready to take on another day in Queenstown. We decided to do a hike for a day originally to Bob’s Peak. Before we set off for the day, we needed to fuel ourselves with food. . Bespoke Kitchen Queenstown

Good healthy food and great service. I tried the smoked brisket burger and my partner had a salad from the cabinet. Both the dishes were really good. But the Coffee was ok.

Food 5
Service 4.5
Coffee 3.
Wow loved the food here! Went first thing in the morning and had the vegan eggs Benedict. The dish didn’t replicate eggs in any way but it was so yummy so I didn’t mind. The tofu was the best I have ever had - Smokey, chicken flavour. The potato hash was delish. Also had the coconut chai latte which was spicy yet creamy. The other 3 in my group had a variety of dishes (not just vegan) and all highly rated the food. It was so good we went again the next day. Highly recommend and will definitely be back when I am in Queenstown again.

Their menu strikes a familiarity with Vudu cafe - ?sister cafe. Certainly different dishes on the menu. Our choices were more delicious than Vudu’s, but unfortunately coffee still as bad.

This place seriously has the best coffee in Queenstown! SO many vegan options that are actually good, not just grass ya know. Many sweet dessert options and salads in the window too. Wish I’d gone here earlier in my trip

We went there for breakfast, nice atmoshphere with nice coffee. We ordered granola and eggs benny with salmon. The only thing i did not like about it was the grilled salmon, i dont know you but with eggs benny i think it should be raw salmon.
MrNomNom
This cafe doesnt take book, that's ok coz if you come early enough still get seating. This cafe got same owner as vudu cafe, vudu and larder hence it got the same feel. I had a soy flatwhite and it was one of the best in Queenstown, my otherhalf had a soy chai latte which tasted deliciously organic. We had a breakfast special and eggs Benedict which were delicious. Mmm
Streaky Eats
Located slightly away from the town centre, you have to walk uphill towards where the skyline gondola/kiwi birdlife park is. This place was packed with people and a queue of people ordering. No table service provided.

Had the scrambled eggs on sourdough, with bacon and mushroom. The bill can add up pretty quickly when you start adding extras, this place is on the pricier side. It comes with two slices of lightly toasted sourdough, generous amount of mushrooms, and really crispy bacon, if that's how you like your bacon done. One thing I liked about the food, is that you can see the surface of the mushrooms and bacon having a nice seared mark all over.

We visited this place for a light breakfast on our way to Skyline for a BIG lunch. It seems to be a very popular place. It was very busy. Despite the crowd the service was relatively fast. We had a raisin scone, almond croissant and coffee. No lactose free milk option was available. Coffee was ok but the rest was really good.

Located 2min walk from skyline gondola, this cute little cafe is pretty and cosy. I had the vegan Benedict, which I wasn’t a fan off. Too oily and salty guys. My husband enjoyed his eggs on toast though.
Nade
Good cafe. Seating/ordering situation was a little confusing but figured it out and had a pretty darn good breakfast, a bit sweet but thankfully could control that with the syrup being separate.

We order breakfast board and egg.. sorry I forgot the name. Whatever;) the dishes looks amazing and beautiful! Also the taste is really good. The atmosphere here is very relax and comfortable especially the outside views

Had brunch at Bespoke Kitchen with my friends and it was delicious. I ordered the Breakfast Board and the lemon, coconut, pineapple cake and the chocolate with banana cake. The atmosphere is really cute and everything looks so delicious and fresh.
Emily
Always has an amazing array of food in their cabinet and even when it is busy, food comes out quite fast. Will be going back here if I come back to Queenstown.

Food: 🌟🌟🌟🌟.5
We ordered the cinnamon pancakes and the breakfast board, and what delightful choices these were! We included some bacon to the breakfast board for the added protein - yum. The pancakes also were very fluffy and filling. We'd love to go back.

Service: 🌟🌟🌟🌟
It was a busy day and we needed to wait a short while before we were seated however the staff were polite and friendly. Food also take long to arrive.

Price: 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Fairly reasonably priced for the quality of the food served.

Good selection of baked goods, but normal menu was a bit disappointing. Overpriced and under par quality.
The day we went the coffee machine (steam wand) was not even working,

We came here multiple mornings for the DELICIOUS vegan food ! The winners for us were the crispy chickpea crepe ($19.50) which was full of flavour, soooo filing, and overall AMaZING dish. The second morning we got Vegan Bagels ($10 each) which are full of flavour and filling enough on a morning when we also got a vegan spiced apple loaf from the glorious cake cabinet. We bought 2 more bagels for takeaway lunches in the days after. Morning 3 we tried the Potato Tumeric and Zuccini Hash ($19) but substituted eggs for mushrooms and aioli for vegan version aioli (no extra charge thankfully!).. this dish was delicious! More so a massive plate of roast veges but the seasoning and Vegan sauce collectively was soooo good! Well worth the money as it is very filling. Our last morning in Queenstown we ordered Toast ($7) with Avocado smash ($4.50) each with a Vegan aranchini ball ($9) to share. Unfortunately this was our only disappointing meal - 3 pieces of thin, cheap multigrain toast was NOT worth $7.. and 1 blob of avo for $4.50 barely covered two of the slices very thinly. Very overpriced for what we got. The Aranchini ball was yum though! But not very big.
The coffee here is GREAT - Allpress brand which is a beautiful blend. Soy milk used is also great in latte/cappuccinos etc. Highly recommend trying some naughty vegan treats in the cabinet - especially the chocolate and raspberry muffins.. those killed us! So yum.
Would have loved to score 5 but the avo toast was so bad that I have to drop it to 4.5.

Ps - staff are lovely and so helpful! They answer all our silly questions haha. Ambience is also funky :) Please open for dinner too!!

Went for breakfast
Ordered egg Benedict, pancakes, crepe & seasonal vegetables
Food was sumptuous. Will recommend to everyone. Could have rated 5 but rated 4 coz of hygiene which was the only downfall. The cutlery smelt of eggs ( & i being vegetarian didn’t like it). Also the place wasn’t that clean as there was water spilled on the floor outside & dust on the fireplace which could have been easily dusted at the start of the day

On our last morning in Queenstown, New Zealand, mum and I decided to have breakfast in town rather than at our beautiful resort, Millbrook Resort. BESPOKE KITCHEN is so Sydney. By that I mean, it would totally fit into what is currently trendy in Sydney. You know the types of cafes I mean – beautiful looking food (definitely Insta-worthy) but also good for you. Extra points if it’s vegan! Mum and I definitely got these extra points as we both picked vegan menu options that morning.

I was pretty disappointed with the food in Queenstown except for Bespoke Kitchen. It was so good I had to come back again!

Great Food & Coffee
Service: 5/5 Friendly & attentive ❤️❤️
Ambience: 5/5😊😊

Highly recommended👍👍
Sitting close to the gondola in the beautiful town of Queenstown we were recommended to try this place for coffee. It was a while before we managed to try it out, but when we did it lived up to it's expectations. Beautiful coffee & even more perfect sweets & slices all decorated with beautiful edible flowers. The salad rolls were as usual in NZ, enormous & chock full of delicious local produce. Service was very attentive & they were flat out I have to say

Decent place this. I'm just getting over the flu so I had the lemon honey ginger tea & it was supurb. Wifey's mocha looked mint as well, real creamy.
Had the Eggs benny w/ salmon. It's a sexy looking dish, but the taste didn't fully match it's looks. A bit too much spinach (or kale) which overpowered everything else. Still good though, & that may just be my personal taste.

Can get quite hectic as it is very popular but a very large range of food to choose from including vegan, vegetarian and gluten free items. Pictured below is the toasted granola and poached eggs on toast! Very cozy inside and great service! ⭐️

A cute little cafe with a cozy atmosphere. Ordered the pumpkin bowl and absolutely loved it. It was a simple and healthy dish. Absolutely love the place and will definitely come back to try other dishes

Hectic but delicious food.
Many gluten free treats also!
I had the salmon super bowl and I felt like I did my body a good service! It was healthy and delicious, quality ingredients, great staff.
Just a little bit hectic but aside from that, great place 👍🏻

Had breakfast here today. My friend told me that this place was nominated as one of best cafe in NZ. Good selection of display and really nice view outside overlooking the Queenstown alps.

Bespoke Kitchen is a popular spot perched on a hill in Queenstown. Its a good place to stop if you are on your way up the Skyline Gondola. It serves breakfast and lunch items, daily til 5pm. There is no shortage of choices here! They also offer raw and vegan options. The space here was gorgeous and bright. It was very busy and you can tell its a very popular meeting spot. The stunning views and fresh eats make this a must eat in Queenstown.

My favorite brekky place!!! We had the brekky board, chicken wrap and a salad! Yum! Great options inside too! Great coffee! A must when in Queenstown! Love love love!

Bespoke kitchen is on a corner on the way up to the Gondola. There are awesome views from the deck or indoor seating too if you prefer.
There is a large range to choose from in the cabinet as well as some unique items on the menu. Our food was delicious. They also have a good range of smoothies

Great cafe on the way to the gondola. Super trendy and the cabinet food looks superb. Coffee was delicious and food was pretty unique too. We ordered the pulled pork which was actually served on a roti which was a nice fusion surprise! We also ordered the roast potato and turmeric cauliflower.

Quite a yummy place and would definitely recommend.

This without a doubt is the best cafe I have ever been to! (And I've been to a lot) the place feels so homely and the food is never a disappointment- perfect every time! The cabinet is so pleasing, with vegan/GF treats! You can't go wrong

Lovely spot for breakfast or brunch! Beautifully presented meals and good selection to choose from! Highly recommend! We had the smoothie bowl and poached eggs on yummy sourdough and has to go back for a second coffee!
Absolutely loved this place. So apparently my aunt had read somewhere that this cafe is listed as one of the best cafes in New Zealand. We went here for breakfast. We did find it a little difficult to get a table. The food here was brilliant from the Kumara hash browns to the pancakes and muffins. Everything was really good here. The cafe has a really good ambience and since the weather was a little chilly they also provide with blankets.Great experience.

This place is awesome. Had hard time to choose from the menu as there were so many awesome options. In the end had the Pulled Lamb Shoulder with hummus and flat bread and it was sooo tasty. My hubby had Eggs Benedict with Hot Smoked Salmon which is his go to and said it was in the top 3 of all the Eggs Ben he'd ever had. That is a statement from him. Great selection of pressed juices and really good coffee. And they had almond milk as an option. As a bonus beautiful views to Remaks if you sit outside or by the windows. I will be back soon to try all the things I wanted to order. 👌🏼

Pancakes and Kumara hash dishes are excellent! Ginger latte is amazing. Deserves its title for best cafe in NZ! Definitely worth visiting in QT

This place is Amazing!

Situated at a beautiful location over looking at the Remarkables. The restaurant is cute and friendly. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with friendly smiles and lovely people!

Their food is soooo good! The cabinet is full of pretty tasty colourful goodness! Exciting breakfast menu! The Eggs benefit l ordered was cooked to perfection! The salmon steak that came with it was so nice and fresh and juicy!

What's more? You know it's all good healthy goodies you're putting in your tummy when you eat here! Love this place !!!
This was my favorite cafe in Qtown. It actually felt homely when I was eating the pumpkin soup. It tasted so good! And I needed that comfort food because I feeling a little home sick. You guys had such an amazing variety of dishes on the menu and all appealed to me. The green tea was very aromatic and organic to a taste.

This place has been voted the best café in NZ for the last year and actually one can see why..
Set in the picturesque area of Queenstown near the gondola base, it has great view out of the café and a menu to boot definitely a hidden gem and happy that Zomato have added it on to the list. Owned by the same people that also run the vudu café and larder in the centre of Queenstown....

The menu is packed with intriguing mixtures that at a glance shouldn't work but boy o' boy does it..

We had the aoraki hot salmon with its delicious accompaniments of crispy croquettes and fried egg... just the right balance to satisfy the hunger. The scrambled eggs on sourdough was one of the better ones had in a long time, seasoned perfectly with hit of chives hidden in that could be found in the occasional mouthful served on perfectly toasted sourdough with melting butter... only one word for it... yummy!!

From the cabinet a chia seed pudding which looked as beautiful as it tasted... there were also a variety of raw, gluten free and vegan offerings that if we weren't full, would have been tempted to savour.

The smoothies and juices were also a distinct combination which refreshened and satisfied both at the same time which is a rare feat

Overall an excellent meal and therefore understandable why it has won all the plaudits to date.... definitely one to return to and a shame that we found it on the last day of our visit. Much better than its sister cafés... Very highly recommended to those venturing to the adventure capital
