Review Yonder - Queenstown

Such a fun place for breakfast! Awesome vibes throughout. Great food menu, with so many dietary options, and good service. It’s super busy though so definitely get there early. We had the pancakes and the French toast. Both were delicious but our favourite has to be the French toast.

This place is hella popular and it's easy to see why. The main draw for me was plenty of options for dietary issues, and I had the eggplant dish which was a huge serving size and absolutely delicious. The staff had such a good vibe about them, and the almond mocha I ordered was probably the best I've ever had. If you can get a table, this place is definitely worth the hype! Edit to add: I went back twice after my initial review and every single time the food and drinks were top notch. Can't recommend it enough!!

Food was tasty, and sharable. We got the beef brisket and an appetizer. We were able to share this between 3 girls. If you are hungry though, getting two apps and the brisket would probably suffice!

A standout health food place in my opinion, and my favorite meal in Queenstown. Ordered the Turkish eggs and the raspberry and pistachio French toast, which were both incredibly tasty and had creative flavoring—definitely not as basic as they sound. Combined with outdoor seating, it was a great brunch experience!

Yum! And very accomodating for our little one with food allergies. French toast was absolutely delicious, pancakes were yummy but did get a tad trifle-like-soggy under all the berries, might be better on the side? All around though a delicious breakfast and buzzing little place.

Yonder is the most incredible place at all times of the day!!! The cosy atmosphere and super friendly staff make morning coffee a beautiful start to the day! The food is out of this world! I ordered the aubergine sticky rice and felt like my taste buds were having a party! Enjoy live music and drinks there in the evening.... So good for the soul ! And the party atmosphere at night is so much fun! This is definitely my favourite place in Queenstown!!! Thank you to all the wonderful staff !

Had Turkish eggs with coffee. Amazing Turkish eggs, beautifully poached eggs with crispy kale and chickpeas, flavours were incredible. Flatbread was a bit dense and not too fresh tasting but tasted great with all the flavours. Amazing amazing coffee, best I’ve had in queenstown. Try the gingerbread latte if you get a chance! Speedy and friendly service. Would come back!

I really liked Yonder. Definately a place to visit for vegetarians. Its good value. We spent around 40 NZD for 1 main and a drink. This was the first restuarant I visited in new zealand in my trip so far that had more vegetarian options than meat, which I appreciated! I would have wanted a starter in hindsight as a main only was not enough for me but the rest of my group were fine with it. This place is a must to visit!

Came here for breakfast after reading some reviews and weren’t disappointed. We’re vegan and loved the sound of their options. The blueberry and lemon pancake’s were absolutely delicious and though it didn’t look big on first impression it was definitely filling enough. My partner had the Not bacon buttie and it was so yummy we’re going back tomorrow to have it again. Worth coming here if you’re vegan or not. These people just know how to do good tasty food.

Trendy vibe, most staff and customers seem to be well under 30. Good coffee and food but the place is very busy so expect a long wait for food. Well worth it when it arrives though. Great brunch spot.

A really lovely little place in heart of central QT! It’s a beautiful little place with two distinct sections. Both with very different feels, complemented by fresh and healthy food! Was a delightful experience bring there :-)

Will certainly visit again, totally recommend.

Missed the mark! Nice spot sitting outside but service not great and most importantly food lacked flavour. The eggs benny looked amazing but the pork was dry and no flavour, hollandaise same no taste.

This is a really pretty cafe with lots of colour and plants. As with most cafes in Queenstown, you need to place and pay for your order at the counter. I came here for brunch and ordered the corn and jalapeño fritters and a latte. It was delicious, perfectly poached eggs, and fritters were nice and crunchy on the outside. Service was excellent as well, will definitely come back.

Had the scrambled eggs and they were a bit bland plus orange juice was straight out of the bottle, and not a good one. Friends went back the following day in a group of 3 and one person got there meal after 10 mins it took a further 25 for the others to get there’s which is unacceptable.

Beautiful outdoor cafe.

This is the ideal spot on a sunny day to enjoy any meal! I had the bubble and squeak and loved all the winter vegetables especially the kumara crisps. My friend had the pulled lamb flatbread and it looked and tasted delicious. Such pretty food that not only looks stunning but tastes amazing too.

Went there for dinner. Nice lively restaurant/bar with good music. Beef brisket with chips is legit: 400 grams of beef and tons of chips for only $32

Great food and a really good place for people who want options around gluten free / vegan. In saying that the chicken karage and beef short rib are great. Also the spiced pear with coconut ice cream and crumble is really good!

My absolute favourite brekkie place in QT. Amazing coffee, friendly service, great menu and delicious food. Love the fit out, music and general atmosphere too. Now I just have to try not to go daily!!

Good coffee, not a wide variety of cabinet food though. Nice location as well. but who in their right minds are still promoting Andrew J Steels art work in their cafes? Completely off putting to see.

Absolutely loved loved loved this place when visiting Queenstown. Amazing vibe and funky and modern decor and an incredible cool menu! Loved every aspect of this place and would definitely visit again when back in Q-Town!

Was gonna give 5 stars but they kept running out of food and drinks, in particular the two vegan desserts I was excited to try. However the food we were served was EPIC and would go here again

Really great place for a modern feed. Choice of food was some of the most impressive I’ve seen, including heaps of gluten-free, vegan & vegetarian options. Great fit out and good beats, can’t go wrong.

Visited here because the menu looked appealing and website and decor aesthically done well. Decor and service was good enough, nothing outstanding. You can choose to sit outside or inside and the atmosphere is lovely. There are also power and USB plugs to charge your devices if you need to.

Brisket burger with shoe string fries: plenty of brisket in the bun and it was flavoured well, but the bun was hard and barely lukewarm when it got to the table. The caramelised onion was not caramelised, and the mustard overpowered the bbq sauce. There was barely any lettuce to balance it out. The fries that came with it were also just warm, and while they weren't really salted, there was no need for it as the fries were hard and dry to chew. The only reason why I could eat it was because the separate side of fries my friend ordered had ketchup with it. Not sure if you can ask for sauce as part of the main. Proportion wise it seemed like it was 60% fries and 40% burger.

Pulled lamb flatbread: this dish bumped it up to a 3/5 instead of a 2/5. Lamb was flavoured well, salad and flatbread was done well along with everything else.
