Review Winnies - Queenstown

Partner took me here because of my pizza cravings and these guys did a fantastic job of delivering the goods with their delicious pizza. Their staff are attentive and kind especially with our little one, and the atmosphere is warming. Would recommend getting a large pizza so you can get a half-half with two flavours, which helps if you want half the pizza with a vegan topping. The arancini balls are must have side too.

Overall is a great place to go for dinner. Ordered a large pizza-half pepperoni and half margarita for two also two drinks. Very authenticated pizza and the size is decent. The staff is very friendly and very helpful as well. Great experience so we went back again and again while staying in Queenstown for ski. The reason I didn’t give 5 star for food is our second time experience with pizza bread is a bit too salty.

Pizza was *chefs kiss*! definitely recommend the chicken & brie, as well as Montonara. We ordered 4 to share, 2 small and 2 medium which was perfect for 4 of us. Friendly service and food didn't take too long to come out either. Highly recommend and would go back again.

Food was great and well priced. Atmosphere was awesome and you could feel the place from the street, the staff were run off their feet and a little slow but can't blame them for being busy! Would recommend highly and come back again when I'm back next

Been here for a few years and it's good to see they haven't taken the pool table away! It is located upstairs and might prove a challenge to those that have difficulty going up stairs but its worth it if you get up there! Food and service is always great and pizza...out of this world. Tan said she had not tasted pizza this good, ever! In all the atmosphere of old nick-naks and signs are a great touch. Seating is comfortable enough on chairs and the option of cushioned bench seats are there also. Be back next year guys, keep the vibes and good food rolling out!

We really enjoyed our food and our waiter, Clement was very attentive and friendly. My mom enjoyed her small Hawaiian pizza. My small vegan Caprico pie was also delicious! We split the small Uniquely Winnies' Famous Dessert Pizza and they let us do half without the white chocolate base and ice cream on the side so my mom and I could share.

Pizzas are delicious! We had 6 different flavours and all tasted amazing. Very meaty and even the veggie option was packed with flavour. Staff went above and beyond for a friend of mines birthday. Will come again when back in queenstown.

We were here the second time while being on our ski trip this year, both times we found the atmosphere, friendly staff and pizza making us want to come back in the future. Today, as we came super early for dinner, Hugo told us the mulled wine is in progress, it paid for the wait as it is the proper one with star anise and cinnamon. Also their pizza is really good and original (and I know my pizza). I enjoyed it together with my family. Thank you team!

Loved Winnie’s, one of our highlights from Queenstown which was unexpected to be honest! The food was amazing and the staff were very down the earth. Service was great too! Loaded fries, arancini balls and garlic bread were unreal!!

Went to Winnies with the family tonight and I thought the place was a good bar/restaurant. The establishment had a fun atmosphere and the staff were friendly. For dinner, I ordered a pizza, wings, and fries. The pizza was thin and crispy, the wings were saucy, and the fries came with 2 dips. I'd recommend this place if you were looking for a quick bite with a lively environment.

Pizza was great, tried the chicken barbecue pizza. Good music, always smiling friendly staff.

The food was good and great value. Definately worth trying. We shared a large veggie pizza between 3 of us and tried the arancini. Both were really good. We spent 30 NZD each which included a drink. Although there is limited vegetarian options there is more than enough to he satisfied.

It was a bit slow to get the ball rolling but once they started it was interesting the options that were like all you can eat , picking the sizes, halving up the toppings which was great $7 drinks all you can drink eg: coke, ginger ale , raspberry amd lemonade ( you needed to choose one favour) The pudding was a bit delayed but the waitress was very apologetic. Food very tasty,would most certainly return, the waitresses needed to being mindful though what is being said in front of your clients.

8 Sept 23, ate the Montonara pizza & can honestly say it was the BEST pizza I've eaten !! Service was impeccable, atmosphere fabulous and the older tunes just brilliant. Holidaying for a week and absolutely returning here before departure. 10 out of 10 Michele

Great pizza place. They have pizza with different pizza base. I love trying new varieties and so I ordered the chicken, cranberry and Brie pizza - it was as good as it sounds :D. You can get your pizza in three different sizes - the small pizza was more than enough for me. The restaurant staff was very nice and Jeanne (my server) was great, making sure everything was all right :) Although it was dinner time I didn’t have to wait long for my drinks and pizza to arrive.

Awesome pizza based restaurant. Dining inside, on the deck, or in a conservatory style area. Nice old building with great vibes. Quick efficient and polite service from the wait staff. Has a full bar for those needing something to wash dinner down with. Definitely go there again when next in Queenstown.
