Excellent service and food. My steak was cooked to perfection and our scallop entree was bursting with flavour. The staff were very friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Thank you Britannia, we will be back next time we’re in Queenstown 👌
The staff went out of their way to create an amazing salad for 2 Vegans in our party. The bespoke salads were amazing. Thank you so much. Great intimate space dining inside the ship. Terrific chips and creative dessert.

A superb place to eat with a good menu. The staff are great and the Britannia dessert with a dark chocolate ship, grand Marnier ice cream and with the mast and rigging in toffee was a work of art! See the photo.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. There were four of us and we all loved our meals. I had the scallops and they were yum and there was definitely enough of them ( which is unfortunately unusual). My husband had a chicken breast in filo and he raved about it. Great experience. Highly recommend.
Absolutely amazing! The staff were wonderfully friendly and happy. We had our 1 year old with us and they accommodated us quickly and with ease. The decor of Britannia is perfect! It creates an amazing dining experience. The food was superb and so well priced for the quality and quantity served.
Do yourself a favour and have a meal there.

As a farmer I generally don't order lamb at restaurants as it usually doesn't match our home kill. Really pleased I decided to try the lamb rack. It was amazing. Definitely the best lamb I have eaten at a restaurant. Friendly staff and unique setting. Would definitely recommend and visit again.
We were recommended by the hotel staff. The restaurant ambience is unique, we feel like eating inside a ship. We ordered fried calamari, lamb rack, rib eye and blue cod... And all came with the great taste. The calamari was superb, and lamb rack is easily can be a winning main course. Special note also addressed to French Fries.... Some who they elevated this simple sidedish to the next level. Definitely recommended place to go.
I have eaten at the Britannia since it first opened and have always loved the food, ambiance and service. Best garlic bread in town and the shrimp cocktail is divine. The roast lamb is always cooked to perfection and the deserts are totally yummy. One of my favourite restaurants and i eat out every night so i definitely try them all. Will be up there in 20 minutes :)
