Review The Cookie Time Cookie Bar - Queenstown

Brendan S
Gotta give this place a try! The cookies are so soft and delicious. The shakes are a bit of a mess to eat, but so worth it the cookie dipped in tastes amazing! They also make a good coffee and have nice gifts to take home although a little expensive.
Sara KOMOLSIL
All time childhood's favorite cookies and chocolate. I felt so nostalgia when I visited the store and order the most sinful shake "the double chocolate fudge brownie shake!!!" Highly recommend those who are sweet tooth and would like to sweeten their time in Queenstown!
ENKI'S FUN TECHNO STUFF (EnkiTrillionaire)
Gotta give this place a 5. Always love it when we visit. Can't go wrong with their specials...a 1 dollar coffee deal and buy one take one cookie. Lovely service and people too. The bar in front can use a bit of cleaning every now and then. Lots of people who use it.

A must do if your in Queenstown. We went on a Wednesday and were pretty lucky it wasn't to busy. I thought everything was priced very well considering how popular they are I expected to pay more. The shakes are so delicious ! So flavorsome. Such a great spot.
Charlotte Edson (LadyofShalott)
Absolutely amazing!! This is an iconic place in Queenstown, and we went here 4 times during our trip. Between 9-10am they do $2 hot chocolates and $1 coffees. So we got cookies and hot drinks for breakfast twice (banoffee is highly recommended)! Plus we visited for shakes, and their 2-for-1 cookie deals. The hot chocolates ($2) are a bargain. Covered in cream and even has an extra mini cookie. So many delicious things to try, and great service. It was an awesome place, ideal for kids, couples and friends.
Rachel Henry
Really good iconic place. The thick shakes ate good, can be quite rich but really good..the cookies are good too. Merry time I'll try the ice cream.
Diane Marzonie
So yummy and fun! I was craving a hot chocolate after our dinner and they did not disappoint! White chocolate and cranberry cookies! Good stuff! Friendly staff and upbeat music. Small place and very little inside seating. We were lucky to grab the front bar facing the street. It was cold out. Perfect!
E.Y. Fang
Warm, soft and chewy cookies. Kids love them. The only downside is it's a small shop and gets busy easily and people have to queue outside. Good option as souvenirs.
Faiza Abrar
We ordered chocolate fudge brownie shake, and it was really delicious and coasted us 13 dollar per shake. Two people can easily share one shake if they want to watch their sugar intake.
Jiak Pa Liao
The kids love it! Went back second time for shakes, cookies and sโ€™mores. For me, I rarely take sweet stuff, hence this was overly sweet for me.
Akanksha Dhankher
All the shakes are way too sweet, just how I like them. The cookies are actually premium quality
Dustin Bennett
Visited twice during our stay in Queenstown. Cookies are good especially if you hit happy hour when they're 2 for 1. However I thought the cookie dough was better than any of the baked cookies.
Annie B
Loved it - good prices and very cute for kids (and grown ups!)
Agnes Ng
The cookies are nice. Really love it especially the white chocolate macadamia cookies ๐Ÿฅฐ They have special promotion buy one get one free from 6pm - 7pm.
Benedict Uy
Stopped by a few times to get cookies. One trip I had the milk and cookies which had a bottle that you could take home. The milk was flavoured so it was tasty. They also had shakes and other goodies including a special looking hot chocolate. Nice place to stop by for a sugar hit. We also had a birthday cookie for take away which was interesting and tasty. They also had a claw machine where you can get the cookie monster. Edit: The bag of broken cookies is a tasty souvenier as are the ice cream sandwiches.
Soo Woo
I've loved this place so much!! So hard to decide what to get, you just got to get it all!! Awesome photo opportunity inside the cookie time mini that's inside. Lines can get long, but the service is great, worth the wait.
Abhishek Pathak
Perfect place for the sweet tooth people. Good options for shakes, cookies and coffee. The interior is also interesting. Excellent customer service from the front house staff.
Louis Martin
Double chocolate fudge brownie shake ($13) absolutely slapped after a 7 hour mission up Ben Lomond. The ice cream and cookie were the best, shake could have had a bit more flavour though. Still worth the 3x daily intake of sugar
Choclife
Lots of options. Not a cookie fan but it was nice.
Absolutely love the ambience and music. Staff are friendly.
Hannahmareecarr2
Was so excited when I saw they actually did Vegan Shakes - can be quite hard to come by! You definitely want to be hungry before having a shake, as they are big enough to be a meal in themselves. Would be great in future though if there were more vegan friendly ice cream options ๐Ÿ˜Š
Annie
Probably one of the creamiest and smoothest coffee shakes I have had! Will definitely be back during our next visit!
Stella Wang
anyone need large dose of sugar fix can take a cup of their milk shake. Too thick to drink through the paper straw, will not try again.. good place for photo shot
Alice In New Zealand
It was amazing. Super sweet
Judy
If youโ€™re sweet tooth or just love icecream and cookies, this is the place to have your fix. Iโ€™m not that much of a sweet tooth but can say I thorough enjoyed the fresh baked cookies that were made and the cookies and cream ice cream, yum!
Robert Jaime Fernandez
I wanna start from the time that I was on queue (Friday night) to try your warm cookies with ice cream and whipped cream. It was a busy night but the queue was moving smoothly and when I got the the register this very smiling lady had a small chat with me, I waited for what I ordered and its worth it! The combination of ice cream, warm cookies and whipped cream is just heavenly. Fast forward to Sunday afternoon, I was sitting by the lake and the same lady who served me approaches me offering some cookie samplers. We had a chat and because of her superstar service I easily recognized her, I even asked her if she could take my photo which she willingly did and I am so happy that I got the chance to know her name which SARAH. I commend this lady for loving what she's doing, not just serving people but connecting with them. A very lively and soulful lady. Thank you again for being so awesome, Sarah!

Food 3.5/5
Service 4/5
Ambiance 4/5

Sweet tooth heaven especially for the young and young of heart.Cookies are freshly made and a lot of variety compared to what is available in the supermarkets. Various choices of shakes too (a little bit to sweet for liking). If not a big fan of sweet things maybe stick to the small cookie and chocolate milk that comes as a combo plus side is you a free milk bottle.
Roxathina Samupo
Delicious milkshakes and also a great range of different cookies. My son absolutely loved this store. Perfect spot for a treat if youโ€™re in the area.
Sheryl
very overrated and the queues are insane. We waited 40mins to be served and it really wasn't worth the hype.ย

for more check out @wellymunchers on the gram
Ann Klein
Cute cookie shop. Cookies are so yummy.
The only reason I gave 3 stars is the waiting time. We waited for more than 30 minutes to have one simple milk shake.
J Ambrosio
I love the staff, I love the cookies. My kids thought this place was so cool we went back the next day. Definitely a family friendly place but be prepared to wait a little bit, there seems to be always a line everytime we pass by.
Lucy
A must visit chic little place in town. They have freshly made cookies, ice cream and shakes.

Also the prepacked cookies make great gifts for friends and families.

Super warm and friendly staff:)

Food: 8/10
Food presentation: 8/10
Service: 10/10
Location: 9/10
Ambience: 10/10
Yum yum yum! A bit of a wait but was expected, had the sโ€™mores milkshake and was soooo good. Second time round tasted a bit milky which was a shame as theyโ€™re a treat when I visit
Tejas
This place is filled with super tasty and super chocolaty shakes and chocolates. These guys have a wide variety of cookie shakes which itself is a new concept for many people plus the shakes are very tasty. Thier cookies are very famous there in Queenstown.
Neha Goomer
Super cute cookie shop.. Had freshly baked hot cookies..They were super delicious.. Also tried the cookie dough shake, it was awesome but too heavy for us to finish after having cookies.. They have nice souvenirs and packets of cookies to purchase.
Jenny Da
Cookie time cookie bar is an iconic dessert and souvenir store in Queenstown and Iโ€™ve been wanting to come here for the longest time.

We finally made it and the store is everything we anticipated plus more. Our server was super friend and genuinely happy to give recommendations.

We had the rainbow shake, Nutella shake and Lewis creamery milk + cookie. The lines a bit long but totally worth it!!

Itโ€™s super sweet though, so you might want to share
Ishita Mundada
If you are in Queenstown and love shakes/cookies, then this place is a must visit.
They have some super amazing and crazy shakes.
We had the nutella and double chocolate brownie fudge shakes. And loved both the shakes.
Absolutely loved this place.
Trazy M Lata
Such an awesome place, loved the environment. Was so busy. I wish we had it up here in Auckland. So many varieties of things to choose from. We got 2 shakes, unfortunately, couldn't take a picture of one of them. Super delicious, full of sugar and tasted amazing haha
Jasmine
I don't like cookies but cookie time cookie bar gave me a whole new life

Ordered:
๐Ÿช macadamia and white chocolate cookie: 1 for $4 or 3 for $9

Review:
The cookie was hard on the outside yet still buttery soft on the inside!!
Unbelievable consistency, with nutty, crunchy texture from the macadamia.

Service was friendly and efficient with smiles all around. A short walk from the pier, it's a great opportunity to bring your cookie down and watch the sunset!

The one thing to note is that it is incredibly sweet - if you're prone to guilt like I am, make sure you eat healthy before absorbing this magicโœŒ
Annie Tong
I have been dying to write a review for this wonderful cookie bar! Warm milk and cookies, ice cream, milk shakes and merch- it couldnโ€™t be better! We tested out the smore shake that came with ice cream and warm marshmellow, absolutely delicious and a great treat! Also the Nutella shake that was toppled with whipped cream and a ferrero roche. Couldnโ€™t resist, so made a second trip to get our hands on another shake: the double fudge chocolate shake! Be warned! These shakes are extremely delicious and sugar rushes are likely to be experienced so proceed with caution! ๐Ÿช
Eunifoodie
I was welcomed by the beautiful smell of freshly baked cookies as I walked into the store. I got the choc fudge cheesecake cookie dough with affogato ice cream - it was good but not amazinggg. Definitely would come again to try their indulgent looking shakes.
Ozzy Kunnu
A small little place to grab some delicious cookies, and the ratings are strictly for the Cookies.

Hot Chocolate and Ice Cream were a disaster though.

Moderately priced and service is friendly.
Jay
You absolutely must try this place. The cookie time bar heaven, and their hot chocolates are carefully crafted masterpieces. Visit when it's colder - you'll thank me later.
Streaky Eats
Had the classic chocolate chunk and milk chocolate fudge and caramel hot cookies.

The hot cookies are generally on the thin side with a chewy texture. The chocolate chunk had more of a crumbly texture while the milk chocolate fudge and caramel had a more chewy bite to it due to the fudge and caramel. Take a bite into either cookie and you'll see the goodness oozing out of it.
888bing888
They're popular so be prepared to queue up. Out of all the the items we tried from the menu - the hot cookie smore and the cookie dough were scrumptious and an unforgettable sweet treat. Tried their Cookies & cream coffee shake which I found too sweet, Cookies & cream ice cream with a mini cookie on top has a standard flavour and the Lewis Road chocolate milk was good too.
Marich
Ordered vanilla and chocolate shake, but they made a toffee shake for me about ten minutes later. Very sugary and sweet, put biscuits and ice cream on top the straws went through.
Ajay Shah
Best cookies n cream Shake I ever had and best service as well. Busy need to wait but worth it. ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€ lots of options and will try Nutella one next time.
The Brunch Specialist
Cookie Time is hard to miss, with itโ€™s cute furry mascot out the front and a queue which often extends out the front door.

Providing a range of cookies and cookie themed desserts this place is perfect for the sweet tooth and releasing your inner child. Being a cold winters night the hot chocolate just hit the spot.

Those looking for a deal should look to visit between 8am - 9am for $1 coffees and between 6pm - 7pm for 2 for for 1 hot cookies.

Cookie Time Cookie Bar is such a cute concept and is worth checking out to try a cookie or two.

๊ณฐ์ •์•ˆ
4/5 Taste
5/5 Display
4/5 Quantity
4/5 Customer Service

Cookie time Cookie Bar! With Cookies and Icecreams!

Nicely decorated to attract tourists. Nothing else too fancy about them.
Their milkshake was alright.. cookies wernโ€™t special either.
Jonita๐Ÿฅข
Was told this joint was a big hit in Queenstown so I decided to try it out myself and had high hopes for it!
Unfortunately, it wasnโ€™t a pleasant experience personally as the wait time was ridiculously unreasonable for some cookies and scoops of cookie dough even at 10:30pm. Also waited 15 more minutes for a salted caramel shake that was definitely not worth the wait.
The fudge brownie cheesecake cookie dough was a big letdown as it was loads of sweetness and not much fudge brownie flavour.
Only decent thing was probably the giant icecream sandwich with hokey pokey icecream.
Tayla
I got the cookies and cream coffee shake was amazing! Definitly going back to try other things, also entered a comp and was one of the 10 people who won so thanks cookie time!!๐Ÿฅ›๐Ÿช
The Poor Foodie
Really busy place in Queenstown! Even at 8am thereโ€™s a queue waiting for cookies! I got 4 cookies at happy hours so they were just 8 dollars!!! I got chocolate chunk, macadamia with white chocolate, banoffee chocolate and fudge chocolate. They were all fantastic! I forgot to ask the staff which one has cinnamon inside because I have cinnamon intolerance (my fault). Banoffee chocolate has cinnamon in it but itโ€™s a small amount so it was fine for me. It was still nice with a big chunk of chocolate and bananas inside.
Downside: the queue is long and you have to wait for a while and itโ€™s really cold outside. Not much space to sit and enjoy the food/shakes.
Jeannie June Kurniawan
Best cookie bar that I ever had!! My fav flavour is afgan and vegan chocolate. Their hot chocolate and shakes also good. Their hot cookie is always addicted
SHIKA ๐Ÿ‡
Great place to visit as I have not found this in Auckland. Great selection of cookies and also cookie dough. I tried the mini cooked dough with the original chocolate chip cookie dough and also a salted caramel chocolate cookie. They both were soooo good. So lovely and fresh, loved the Service it was beautiful. Love the selection of cookies and also cookie dough. They also have milkshakes and other various things. Really loved this place. Itโ€™s a place to visit.
Jessica
Friendly and outgoing staff! Delicious cookies and cookie dough! With decent pricing. I went back twice while my stay in Queenstown. Definitely recommend
Emily
Canโ€™t get over the edible cookie dough! Could easily eat it everyday. Service is always lovely there and the smell inside of the freshly baked cookies is delightful๐Ÿ˜
Jade Lim
Fun! Fun! Fun! So much joy by just stepping in to Cookie Time Cookie Bar.

Awesome products, fun deco, friendly staff. (Just unsure about their uniforms... Thought should be a little bit more appropriate for kids..haha)
Danelle Lim Yun
Tried their hot cookies which were really delicious, crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. The service was great as well and I love th vibe there.
Hansi Dissanayake
Second time visiting the Cookie Time bar and I loved it! The staff are always super friendly and there are so many tasty goodies to pick from! This time I picked the vanilla and chocolate shake and the banoffee cookie. When visiting Queenstown make sure to visit the cookie time bar!
Tardar Sauce
2.5 is for the ordinary service. I quite like the hot cookies from cookie time but was a bit disappointed with one of the staff members who didn't seem to care at all that we had been waiting in line for over 15mins. She had this deadpan expression on her face and was singing along to the music looking customers in the eye, it was very odd. I wouldn't have minded the weirdness had she actually noticed she was doing no work and people were leaving the store because the wait was too long. Good cookies, very ordinary service.
Nick Collins
Cookies and Cream Coffee shake was a winner. The girls working there are humourus. Not sure why they are wearing hardly any clothes though...
Crackerjacker
Just the look of the place was amazing, I took advantage of their $1 coffee which was from 8am to 9am and also their 2 for 1 cookies which was in the afternoon some time. All I could say is DELICIOUS
Pham Peter
One of the best tasting cookies and ice creams I've had. Even better than subways soft centre cookies!!! A must try is the s'mores and cookies and cream shots. Nice and warm on the outside and creamy and chewy on the inside. Best taken on a cold day.
Ashley
Great service, Freshly baked cookies & mouth watering ice cream. I'll definitely be back on my next visit, highly recommend you stop by there if you're in the area!!!!!!!๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Best place in Central if you are craving for something sweeeeeet !! Well it does not need an explanation.. name says it all :)
They do specials around 8-9am and 6-7pm, grab it !
Alexander Nuttall
Ok these are the best cookies that I've had. The warm milk choc chunk cookies are the things that dreams are made of. If i could have these warm cookies every day i would be the happiest man alive. The flavoured milk and kareoke-cookie- give-away are also great features of what id say is the best store in the universe
Lauren CB
This place is just... Wow! A trippy technicolour sugar high, filled with milk and cookies as far as the eye can see. Cookies were freshly made and quite scrumptious. Be prepared for line-ups and tourist crowds.
Stephy_NakiGirl
Great wee spot which showcases the delicious thing that is a cookie time cookie. You can buy merchandise & cookies as well as get yummy things like s'mores, chocolate milk & cookie dough ice cream
ShoRt
Cute cookie time bar for the cookie lovers and the tourists! Get all their various merchandise right here and take a photo for memories sake. They even have ice cream! I had a chocolate ice cream and it came with a cookie. Yay!
Also sign up with the iPads in store and you get to spin the wheel to try your luck for something free.
My friend loves their cookie shake... too sweet for me though!
FoodieCCC
Had the cookie&cream coffee shake and the cherry brownie shake, both of them were great. Really thankful to have such lovely outlet at Queenstown central as a tourist at the first time visiting here.
Diner8Here
i'm a big cookie and biscuit fan of all sorts, therefore came across this colorful ย joint with a nice warm welcome inside by the pretty shop attendants.
i ordered the vanilla double chocolate shake and just love this, they also sell these loose and as gift sets too, plus coffee as well. ย Just rite too i prefer the cookies semi soft, not like the subway cookies which is soft as and crumble to bits on the bite, and remember they are made of just brown sugar cemented together with flour and dairy products, well the chocolate chippies are. Had cookie time bikkies ย on the jet too as a snack on the journey down/back
Matt
Visited here back in January. ย Holy Jesus the cookies are good! ย We came back on several occasions for desert and always found the cookies perfectly baked (soft and gooey). ย A definite must try!
Don Bryce-Deo
Cookies are fresh, soft and warm. Melt in your mouth kinda bickie and it still holds original taste ๐Ÿ™„ mini cookies and other cookies are priced well and affordable. We had a mini cookie sandwich and a cookie time double chocolate and vanilla shake that was delicious nothing much to it, it wasnt a "omg" moment. But thats just me, have had better ๐Ÿ™„
MegWantsVeg
I came twice during our stay in Queenstown. The milkshake with Smores was delicious. Broken cookies in a bag, yum! Not a fan of the flat hot cookies, but I love the concept of the bar.
Georgie @ Georgieats
If you are crazy about cookies, then this is the place for you!ย

The smell will hit you when you walk in and you will ooh and ahh at the offerings โ€“ soft gooey cookies in all flavours, milkshakes, hot drinks and merchandise to take home.

And here's a tip - everyday between 8am to 9am, head down to Cookie Time for $1 coffee โ€“ bargain!
Tanuj
Cookie time cookies are delicious as always. I loved the decor of this place , so vibrant and colourful. You can't help but notice this place and enter and pick a cookie or two. It's right in your face. The milkshakes at this place are just too yummy.Absolutely loved cookie time cookie bar.
Supneet Sarao
Its a fun place with cute songs playing all the time.
The girls who serve ice cream are vibrant. The ice cream is yummy and the cookies are just amazing :D
Let Laura Eat
We both had a choc chunk cookie & really enjoyed them. The wait in line was big, but that staff were super friendly. After having Mrs Fields Cookies though the day earlier in Melbourne, they would be 2nd on my cookie list.
The Taste Bud
Cookie time is just amazing! Super convenient on the way home from dinner, located on one of the main streets in town. We had a delicious smore - freshly baked cookies with a gooey mallow centre, yum!
Yo April Smith
This place is awesome, you can't beat freshly baked cookies with delicious ice cream on a cold winter night ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ would definitely recommend. My rating would be a 5/5 if the prices were a little lower because it did feel slightly over priced, but then again it is Queenstown! All in all, I'd still go back again.
Cupy Dee
Grown up in NZ, cookie times cookie has always been in my life. It's not until 8 years ago l first visits the Queenstown cookie bar. I brought my first Cookie muncher from the store and he has been all around the world with me.

It's a tradition now everytime I come to QT, I must bring the cookie muncher with me and visit the cookie bar ! The cookies are awesome but it's the great memories that count.

Nothing beats a fresh warm cookie with a glass of milk !
Frank
Superb concept! Cookies and cleavage. What do you get when you mix a fun and bright store with a great selection of cookies, milk and merchandise with loud music and a young and fresh wait team, you get zillions of people queuing to get in. Even though I didn't feel like a cookie, I was drawn in like a bee to honey, and was rewarded with, among other things, a delectable melt in your mouth cookie...
BukanOtotTapiLemak
One of the best cookies on earth! Pre-packaged one doesn't taste the same as the freshly baked one tho, some weird taste somehow lingers in my mouth after i ate it. The smoothie can cause a major sugar rush although taste delicious. Definitely be back for their fresh baked cookie.
Ezzz
I'm from Auckland so I've had mrs Higgins before (the best Cookie store in akl) and I'd say Higgins still beats cookie time. I'm not saying this cookie is bad! But not something to rave or line up 30 mins for!!! I got milk bottle with a mini cookie ($7), friends got some cookies, was crunchy and gooey in the inside(running chocolate), super nice! But the staff is a bit messed up as they forgot about my friends hot chocolate ordered so we waited 10 minutes for nothing. I reckon go try a small cookie and their shakes or Cookie ice cream, think those will be a lot better tbh. This store also sells packaged cookies and gift boxes which is handy :)
Mat
This place is definitely a must-visit when in Queenstown. The duration of my three days in Queenstown, I visited the Cookie-bar at least four times.. I would recommend the classic chocolate chip cookie with a bottle of milk - match made in heaven. I also like how staff hand out free tiny cookies when you are waiting in line :3
Siobhan
As soon as you step in the door you are hit with the smell of fresh cookies and cookie related merch. We tried out their shakes and sundae and loved it but felt like we overdosed on sweetness afterwards.
Dean Biskupovich
Stayed in a long line to see what the fuss was about. Apart from the cute, scantly clad Hooters-type cookie workers, the service was good but the cookies were ok...almost like the cookies at Subway or Mrs. Fields. Also the shakes...meh....not even think ones. However, id like to say the cookies did stay soft the following day and came in handy after our bungy jumps!
Abdullah Hamad
We ordered, "Black coffee", "Cafe Latte", " Manuka honey Ice cream", "Hoky Boky ice cream" and "Cookies". It so good, delicious and the staff was lovely.
Michelle Hwang
There is a fantastic world of Cookie Time cookies. Everyone can find the perfect one for themselves. Music, service and interior are all wonderful. Grab some cookies there is one of essential courses in Queenstown.
Rose
A cool place to come if you have children with you as they sell delicious cookies and all sorts of things. We had all the flavours of the cookies though liked the chocolate chip one best (an all time favourite). Though the cookies are quite expensive unless you go when they have special deals every evening from 6-7pm
Harsh Saini
I was just passing by Cookie time when aroma of Freshly baked cookies hit my nose...I decided to have a look on the counter where they had more than 10 types of freshly baked cookies. I could not resist myself and bought one brownie cookie with butterscotch shake. The cookie was fresh, hot, soft and delicious. If you are in Queenstown then you must try Cookie time. It's one of the best cookies in town. You can also take some pre packed cookies for your home.
Disha
Best cookies in the world. They melt in your mouth as soon u take a bite. The staff is very polite and welcoming. They also bring out trays of mini cookies to taste- yumm yumm yumm! I packed a huge bag full when I left Queenstown for my family.
DinkyChick
Cookie Time cookies are SO good! The shop is bright, fun and always has the coolest music playing, plus the staff are really friendly and sweet! Their milk and warm cookie combo is well worth it as you get to take home your very own Cookie Time milk bottle - super cool!! You must also try their Afghan cookie, different to a traditional cookie and so yum!
Aniruddha Jaju
Yummy!! We had a couple of cookies, and they were delicious to say the least! The salted caramel one was out if this world.

This really is an amazing place to buy some cookies from. They are so soft, they almost melt in the mouth. Really delicious!
Elena Ching
Another must do if you're in Queenstown. Local tip - come between 6-7pm where you get two hot cookies for the price of $3, usually the price of one.

The salted caramel cookie was sinfully good - soft and chewy, rich chocolate and caramel flavours offset by the crunch of peanuts and sea salt. A must for chocolate cookie lovers.

The white chocolate and macadamia cookie was too sweet for my liking but would be a treat for those with a sweet tooth.

A good after dinner treat! Who can resist cookies fresh out the oven?
Neha Gupta
This little outlet on a happening Queenstown street offers you one of the best cookies you would have ever had. They are so fresh and served warm. I went to this place during the cookie hour to get the benefit of the offer they have during that time. I loved the chocolate nut cookies. They also have ice creams but cookies are the best !!
MANSI BHALARIA
The best cookie combinations not just in Queenstown but entire New Zealand !!! No one can skip not being here !!! Love the chocolate chunk cookies in every form of shape and size whether it's sundae or a shake or ice cream or just the cookie alone !! A must try for every age !!!
Adeline
Yummy warm cookies- i got the salted caramel. Best time to go is during their happy hour which is 6-7pm i think- 2 for 1 cookies! Tasty treat
May
Another local must do- and so we did, tried one of their cookies and it was chewy and chocolatey. Nothing overly spectacular perhaps if you try their other desserts e.g. cookie icecream sandwich..
Razelle Icaro
This was in my must-go-to list from my last trip. I promised myself I won't leave Queenstown without stopping by for cookies. They had hot chocolate and coffee for only $2 per cup and you also get a tiny cookie with it. That's not the best thing about it though. Their cookies were freshly baked, still warm, chewy on the inside, crunch on the outside and they also had a variety of flavours! I felt like a kid in a candy shop

Shelly
We came to check out the hype at the place that hold many childhood memories! The smell when you walk in is amazing! They have samples for every cookie they sell, not only do they sell cookies, but t-shirts and iPhone cases with the cookie monster printed on them as well! I took 2 cases home with me but the other things were a bit over priced. The service was not that great, no greetings or customer connection as the girls were too busy on their phones.
World In A Bite
Yummy cookies! ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹.
Foodnique
Theres something very cool and yet very cheesy about this place, the design and characters are cool. It has avery American feel to it, with girls dressed as though they're cheerleaders, probably freezing their cookies off in winter.ย
Cookies and milk is what it's all about. The cookies are a tad expensive, but pretty decent, some better than others. it's worth a visit even if only once. The mini cut in half is awesome.
Michal Jefferson
Picked up a couple of cookies for breakfast this morning. They were great! Especially loved the "hokey pokey and Jaffas" cookie! Rocky road was really good too but a little tougher/crunchier than the other.
Alysha Bower
Went here today for a hot cookie and to get some bagged cookies as it is a must go to whenever I'm in Queenstown! Was as good as I have always had! Tried their new Salted Caramel and Chocolate cookie it was DEVINE! Highly recommend this place to anyone that wants really good cookies :)
Nick Stuhlmann
Nice wee treat after dinner. Cookies are fresh and delicious. Had the hot chocolate which was awesome. Combined that with a cookie sandwich. Staff were friendly as well. Cool novelty store to try
A Culinary Affair
The back story : Cookie Time - the happy face of the red cookie time monster is familiar to many New Zealanders. Initially a Christchurch company founded in 1983, its cookies are now found nationwide - its cookie goodness spreading across the country. The cookie bar in Queenstown is the only Cookie Time dedicated outlet in NZ (besides the factory shop in Templeton near Christchurch ) so definitely worth a visit

Setting : The iconic Cookie Time monster welcomes you at the entrance when you arrive at the cookie bar. Spirits are lifted with seeing this rainbow eyed monster - but even more do when you step inside the shop where smells of freshly baked cookie waft up your nose. A large plastic bin filled with little red monsters invite you to take one home - or if you prefer - you can send parcels of pre-wrapped cardboard boxes cookies overseas to your loved ones - or take a photo at the photobooth at the back of the shop. Cookie Time happiness fills the air everywhere you look. Merchandise lines the back next to the cookie time car if you want a piece of this happiness back home. A place to visit to check out all the cookie time options - but not a place to stop and eat due to the dearth of seating in the shop. The lack of space meant it was not so pleasant to loiter round but serves its purpose as a cookie bar for takeaways. Be prepared also for a bit of a wait for cookie purchases as the shop gets crowded pretty quickly (it took me 10 minutes waiting in line to get one cookie at lunchtime on a weekend).

Food: The Cookie Bar serves up fresh hot cookies - with 12 cookie flavours to choose from including the less common blueberry crumble, rocky road and banoffee. They also do a vegan chocolate cookie option. At $3 each, the cookies are a little pricey but worth it for the quality and taste. Alternatively the 5 for $13 or 10 for $25 combo options are good value if you're wanting to try the different flavours. They also do a cookie time "happy hour" special and a special at 8-9am. If hot chewy melt-in-your-mouth cookies aren't enough, try the ice-cream sandwich, cookie sundae or cookie "shot". They also do shakes and hot chocolate. I tried the banoffee cookie this time and it was very worth the 3 dollars I paid. I was rewarded with chocolate chunks and a soft yet chewy cookie with banana bits strewn through - highly recommended. The only down side was I should have gotten 2 cookies!

Occassion : Whenever it is time for a Cookie. Which is pretty much any time !

Revisit potential : 9/10

I have fond memories of Cookie Time as they were one of my favourite treats back in High School. This is a really cute store, bright and colourful, bursting with energy and brought back some good memories. It was fun to look through the different merchandise and products they had on offer, including a post card that is accompanied by cookies! We were lucky to have walked past the store during happy hour, and were treated to two warm cookies for $3. It was a tough choice but I ended up going for the lemon and white chocolate. It was alright but reminded me of a muffin instead of a cookie. I also tried the salted caramel cookie which was delicious but also on the sweet side for me (but I do generally prefer food less sweet compared to most people). I guess living in NZ, this isn't really the place for me to be buying Cookie Time, as it seemed more expensive, however would definitely recommend visiting the store for a dose of sunshine in your day. My highlight was the dancing mascot who has the cutest voice.

My 7 year old cousin absolutely loved this place. She bought a bag of cookies and finished it so quickly. I wish I bought the salted caramel one though as I really wanted to try it. Will definitely hunt for it now. Or else, I will be back!

Cookie Time cookies are my children favourite. When I brought them to CTCB, they were so happy! My son was amazed by the cookie car in the shop and the monster at the entrance! We just love their cookies! We grabbed 5 buckets of cookies plus some milk box cookies. The chocolate cranberry flavour was my favourite.
