I got the ham and cheese baguette from this french bakery. The filling was very generous and it tasted good. The baguette was crunchy and fresh, which added a different texture to the soft ham and cheese. It contrasted extremely well. I thought it was a pretty decent bakery in Frankton but would only come back if I’m in the area. There were heaps of fresh pastries and desserts to choose from as well.

French Bakery near Airport
Now this is a bakery! The cabinet was filled with pretty looking desserts I have only seen in pictures. Filled with joy I ordered few and they tasted amazing too!
Might have been exaggerated taste as my lunch was pathetic.
Skip the tourist industrial complex of downtown Queenstown and come here instead. This is a real French bakery and as such it uses real butter, nothing less. They make great bread too, perhaps the only good bread in town. The only drawback is the very limited seating.
This is a treasure shop. We were in Queenstown for 4 days and I chose this shop for breakfast on all three days. There are three/four flavors of baguettes, which rotate every day. I like the olive and vanilla flavor very much, and the pest chicken cheese is also delicious. Black forest cake and croissant are both good.
The staff is very welcoming.
So yum! We got lots of different breads - very fatty but so yum! Definitely recommend to go during day time. All the choices are available.
Fantastic French bakery with vast choice of pastries, breads and desserts. The vast choice is truly vast with no compromise on quality. They have Danish Rye bread on the menu too! The only thing that was missing is a sitting area to dine in. Top quality bakery products with fast and friendly service.
This took me right back to Paris! These were the perfect bites for lunch. The generous amounts of Brie, the crunchy baguettes, picture perfect croissants… I was in heaven. The vegan hummus roll was unbelievable. Don’t get me started on the best macarons I’ve ever had. Forget the soft and sugary ‘ciabatta’ rolls in the supermarket. This is real food.
Excellent authentic French baked goods!! I am French but have been living in various places around the world for the last 20 years. My family owned a well known bakery in France growing up, so I am constantly seeking these nostalgic, familiar flavors on my travels. And I have to say, this is the closest I have found outside of France!!! French baked goods are often ‘bastardized’ to adjust to local tastes (ie adding cinnamon to pains aux raisins, for example), but not here!! I sooo appreciate being able to experience true, authentic flavors, and expert baking. The team is hospitable and passionate also. Excellent work all around, thank you for providing me a taste of home on the other side of the planet! 🙏🏻
Such delicious treats and a little something with every coffee too!
Nice place. Nice staff. Nice food. Love Here.
Amazing service, very clean store, smelt wonderful on arrival and the food looked delicious, however filled with more of a upper class patisserie instead of the more common bakery items I was surprised I didn't enjoy any of the food much.
Tropezienne and Paris- Brest are so nice!
It’s absolutely high quality bakery. I buy here different kinds of bred, different kinds of brioche. My daughter loves cinnamon one, I prefer chocolate one. They have more! The tarts and quiches looks perfect but still doesn’t have time to try! Coffee has good taste, but is not so strong as I like.
Service is always on point here
You have to come early here though I've been quite a few times Everything tastes amazing!
The best sausage roll I have ever had!
Other Bakers and adherants of the French style of pastries and baked goods take notice! Visited here and got a 'Bearclaw' This store is equal tied first place with Petit Paris (New Plymouth) for the best french noms I have ever come across.
Great place. Coffee is strong and very good. Baguette is amazing. Crosson is just like in France.(we back here in 2021 and I still love it)
Tried the desserts twice, better than average in New Zealand, but Pembroke in Albert Town is still the best in this area.
Pies are $9 but my son said they are worth it!
Almond croissant very almond-y. Cheese scone was the best!!!
Everything was delicious!
Very good sandwiches (vegan options available), croissants (sweet and savory) and coffee (they have soy milk). We especially liked the almond croissant - outstanding! The savory croissant with pesto and cheese also was great. Flat white was quite strong - which I liked.
So delicious!
Today's gentleman who has a shift was super nice! Awesome coffee and I also got to taste their delicious brioche!
Will definitely be back!
Thank you for an amazing first experience ♥️
