Came here for breakfast and dinner. Stunning views of the mountain, very peaceful at Kanuka. For both occasions, we went there quite early, before it got super busy. It's first come first serve to get your preferred table, so best to go early. Food was delicious too. Breakfast was cooked perfectly in my opinion. It was just one of the eggs for the eggs benedict that wasn't poached...it was a little overcooked, but the other was perfect.
This restaurant is located in the Nugget Point THC Hotel. There are no visible signs on the road for this place, so look out for the hotel instead.
Location - this restaurant has really beautiful views over the Shotover River. The setting is really nice and I can only imagine how awesome it will be when the snow falls in winter.
Venue - the venue looks quite tired and is in need of some TLC.
Food - we ordered the full variety of the menu amongst the 7 of us. The food was lovely with the exception that 1 dish was missed out initially.
Service - the service was excellent. Although 1 dish was initially missed out, the restaurant remedied the situation very promptly. Our service staff Aina was fabulous.
Amazing buffet breakfast, excellent customer service with gorgeous view. Their other guests at the restaurant was telling us that they service goat 🐐 curry for dinner. The curry is really good in taste and quantity. Looking forward to have curry next time.
The experience we had here was exceptional. After mentioning GF and DF requirements the kitchen and wait staff were very accomadating. The meal was beautifully prepared and plated. And the waitress was very helpful and polite. With stunning views this is a great place to dine
Great location, beautiful ambience and tasty food. Huge and delicious entree plate with local food for sharing.
The goat curry is quite mild, and small, more rice than curry.
Travelled to Queenstown and tried a few places at the waterfront, and was disappointed. This place is amazing though, best we had in Queenstown. The environment is very relaxing, the service is great and the food is divine! We had lamb and steak for main, both cooked to perfection, everything on the plate was tasty. Had the chocolate fondant for desert and that was super tasty too. Completely enjoyed the experience and can't recommend enough!
The experience we had here was outstanding. Spectacular mountain scenery,amazing view. Very peaceful..Excellent customer service very lovely and friendly staff. We had buffet breakfast and dinner very delicious. My daughter was in love with their A la carte breakfast menu🙂..Highly recommended. Best place to be when in Queenstown
