Review Kim's Korean Resturant And Bar - Queenstown

Great authentic Korean food. Priced similarly to typical Korean restaurants in Australia. The ginseng chicken soup and pork belly + squid bbq was delicious, would recommend these two. The family that run the restaurant were very friendly to us and accommodated when we asked for less spice.

We had a really good Karaoke night here. Kim went out of his way to host us, and even sang for us to get us warmed up. The food and service were very good. Highly recommended

Food was delicious, pork dishes were standouts and sides good too. Really good value for queenstown, service was very friendly. Don't understand the negative reviews on here.

I ordered small dumplings (10pcs) for $10, kimchi stew $22 and beef $20(sorry i cant remember the name). The last two came with rice.
Taste better than the last stew i tried in other korean restaurant in the city.

Well, it is a okay place for your asian cuisine finder
Price is seem a bit high, or maybe thats because of Queenstown??? You answer it
But,
Just an avarage korean house if you need it rather that Ferg burger or Mcdonalld, KFC

Cold bibim noodles & pork stir fry

Both the dishes were nice. Pork was soft, tender, fulfilling.

Side dishes were plentiful & had more variety than other Korean restaurants..

Kimchi was a bit off or may be not fermented enough. Radish side dish was excellent..

It was really bad.. Portion too small and overpriced!!
Don't go there foreigners.. I am really shameful they are Korean.. How could dish came to customers in about 5minutes.

The average price of main dish is $18 both taste and quantity of raw food materials were not matched with theirs price. Spicy tofu soup and dumping soup were tasteless. But side dishes was wonderful, very like my mother.

Always enjoyed especially sea food soup in chill winter. Also can sing a song with karaoke machine at dinner. Sometimes if you are lucky you will see famous Korean movie star dining in. ;-)

Obviously family run with the children who almost had a fight over who was to run over and process our bill which was slightly awkward.

My wife and I eat Korean ALOT and was this was the first time we were denied free top-ups of side dishes.

Though a Korean from a tour was topped up as soon as they asked.

Been there once or twice and not bad ^^ some people don't like the taste of korean food but I thought it was ok (a bit spicy for me though) If you like spicy and/or strong tasting food I would recommend this restaurant to you.
