Absolutely delicious... food was amazing, service was fabulous. We will definitely eat here again. The lamb ribs looked so good I had to try them (and I'm a vegetarian) - drinks were on point! This is a day of the dead margarita, can't remember what was in it but it was stunning!!

Good food with great service. For starters we had the salmon ceviche and coconut tempura prawns which were both good (although serve sizes were a bit small). We then ordered 3 different tacos, all of which were great but the standout was the pork longaniza taco (yum -- would order again). For mains we had the pork belly fajita. This one was a bit average, though have to say the pork belly was very tender and cooked really well. The only below average dish we had was the churros which were a bit doughy.
Service was excellent. Food arrived fast and the staff were very friendly and would often check in if we needed anything more. The atmosphere of the place is very nice and cozy. Take note there is a strong smell of onions all over the place and it tends to stick to your clothes. Might be the result of all the tables having sizzling plates of fajitas at the same time.
Overall, would happily recommend this restaurant.

Very cool atmosphere in this restaurant tucked away down an alley. Food was maybe on the pricey side and honestly did struggle to understand the menu but didn't want to be uncultured and ask haha!
Yummy margaritas and the staff were so friendly and personable. Enjoyed seeing wait staff having conversations with tables rather than just taking orders.

Hard to get seats so I would recommend booking in advance or walking in early! I love Margo’s. If you’re trying this place, order the coconut tempura prawns, salmon ceviche, pork longaniza hot dog, fried chicken taco! It has a good vibe too.

Our time at Margo's was pretty good. It's a bit fancier (and pricier) than your usual Mexican joint, with a unique menu twist. But, don't come here expecting super-authentic Mexican grub.
One cool thing we liked was that they explain what each dish is all about on the menu. We went for the nachos and quesadillas, and they were more than enough for the two of us.

The Menu had good choices for vegetarians. Food was very tasty and the portions were quite generous. The waitress was very courteous and gave good advice reg possibility of sharing the dishes. Margarita was well prepared.

They were some of the better tacos I have tasted & the portion sizes were spot on! Very nice venue with a good vibe. The cocktails were also great and the staff were very informative about the menu.

Great food, friendly service and excellent cocktails. We loved it so much we wanted to go back the next day, but they were fully booked. So make your booking in advance and enjoy it, cause the food is stunning.

We enjoyed our meal at Margo's. It was flavourful if maybe a bit spicy for my liking. The frozen marg was great and the nachos were delicious. Would be great if they added a spice label to certain dishes. My sister said the fish taco was incredible. Staff were friendly and attentive! Highly recommend!

The food was incredible. Really well presented and cooked to perfection with reasonable prices. For the most part the service was lovely. The reason it does not get the full 5 stars is because at the end of our dinner when we went to pay we noticed that an extra item that we did not order was listed on our receipt. We informed the hostess that we didn't order it and definitely did not receive it. She told us that she had to check with the kitchen. She comes back and confirms that we indeed did not order nor receive that item and just takes it off the bill. I didn't like her attitude towards the whole situation. Nor was she in any way apologetic about it being on there in the first place or anything like that. It just felt rude to me.
I also was not a fan of the music being played or how loud it was but I guess people have different opinions on those things.

We were a group that came from from overseas and wanted a place to kick off our celebration. Margo's hit the spot with food, service, atmosphere and drinks! Louise was amazing in helping us book out a section and very responsive over email. The food was delicious and service was on point, which was even more impressive as we were a sizable group and the rest of the restaurant was fully booked, kudos to the whole Margo's team!

The food is very tasty and richly layered with different flavors that your taste buds can feel from each dish, making it the best Mexican food I've ever had. Service is also good, will give you an introduction and recommend dishes. Definitely worth a 5-star rating!

Very friendly and informative staff. Yummy food and cocktails. Great ambiance. A bit pricey but we enjoyed our dinner. I highly recommend making a reservation a day or two before at least to find a spot. We were able to sit at the balcony which was fun.

Very tasty Mexican in the centre of town with a good varied menu… some standard dishes like tacos, fajitas etc but also other items on the menu like spiced lamb ribs that use local produce well. Good cocktails and Mexican beer options with solid service. Definitely worth trying if you want something different if not completely authentic on your travels.

They brought back the duck nachos!! Glad enough people requested these back that they made their way on the menu again haha. You can’t pass these up. And the fried chicken tacos with Cheeto dust are something else 🤤. It’s definitely more on the pricey side, but we’ll worth it.

Loved our dinner at Margos! The food was incredibly tasty and they had such a good range of fun, unique cocktails. The atmosphere is really vibrant and and we had great chat with the friendly waitress. Definitely go if you want a good time in Queenstown.
