Whakatipu Brewing - Queenstown - Photo album

Most of us (a group of 7) had just arrived into Queenstown with 3 of us flying all the way across the Pacific from Brazil. All wanted to relax and have dinner and we didn't have a reservation. Fortunately they were able to accommodate us without any difficulties. We ordered Mojo Nachos, Mojo Fried C
Found this place just before 6pm on a Tuesday night and so glad we did! $2 taco Tuesday and awesome beer selection! Great friendly staff. Live music from a great musician and the place was packed just after 6:30. Get in for a great meal with awesome vibes.
Wings Wednesday - got a half pint to go with my wings, place was very clean and nice interiors
The energy and atmosphere at this place are simply incredible! The live music added an extra level of fun to the whole experience, and I was happy with the quality of the beers. Moreover, the staff was friendly and made me feel right at home.
Great bar staff. Good selection of beers And cocktails. We did think it was happy hour but got charged full price. Could have been us but ....
The fish and chips were ok, the batter a little thick and comes with no salad. The veggie burgers was just ok too. The waffles were amazing though would highly recommend getting the waffles! Service was good and overall food was reasonably priced. Would dine here again
Went there for some food and it was reeeally good! Massive portion of fries, very nice hummus on the flatbread and my brisket waffles were also delocious. Presentation was beautiful and staff were really nice too. Good job guys!
Best happy hour for a craft beer in town. We stopped by a few times between 3-5pm for a pint of their delicious Hazy IPA. Also $2 tacos on Tuesday. Fun vibe, good people watching and a nice staff.
Very cool and tidy place. All dishes were good size portions. Flavorful. Different beers options according to your taste. Also some cocktail and gins. Great option for hang out with friends and catch up.
Beer is good, food is good, guitarist is excellent. Don't even know his name. I have no idea why WBC isn't promoting that they have live music on Fridays, and isn't using this guy's name because he deserves to be much more than just "live music on Friday".
Good beer choices & friendly staff. We got four beers for $28 - pretty good deal for QT. Their Pina Colada sour is top notch!
Started off with the hazy apa and cherry g&t they were both great! Awesome drinks menu with a wide variety of options. Unfortunately they had been very busy during the day and had run out of several menu items. The menu was already pretty limited so we were a little disappointed. We ended up getting
Enjoyed a paddle of the local beer. Very good. Calamari was very well done. Delicious. Olives and pickles worked very well with the poppadoms. A very good stop.
A lovely place with friendly helpful staff and good warming food.
One of the best lamb shanks in Queenstown! And priced cheaper than lamb shanks sold at pubs and bars in the area as well.
Ordered pint of the Whakatipu Hazy IPA. Great taste and great value at $12 a pint
Simple, efficient, great service behind the bar, good food and beer. Will be back!
The service, the food, the beers on tap were the best we’ve experienced in Queenstown. You have to try the Blue Cod wings and the homemade hummus and marinated olives. We came back the next day it was so good. Thank you, Alici our beautiful server.
Friendly and informative bartender topped off with great beer.
