Yia Yia's - Queenstown - Photo album

QT locals recommended we try Yia Yia’s and we weren’t disappointed. Portion sizes were generous and well priced. We tried the meze platter for two, Yia Yia’s moussaka and lamb souvlaki - all were delicious although the pita bread on the souvlaki seemed too large for the fillings. Overall I would rec
Hard to find good Greek food in New Zealand, but this is the one. One of my favourite meals in New Zealand of any style, highlight recommended!
Such tasty tasty food. We went for dinner & I had the lamb…wow so beautifully cooked and the roast potatoes were delicious too. My partner had the chicken which was very juicy & the chips. All the seasonings they used were very moreish - reminded me of dining in Greece. The staff were very friendly
Stumbled across this little gem and couldn't believe I hadn't tried it before. The lamb souvlaki was absolutely delicious - fresh, cooked perfectly and very decent portion. The service was warm, friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend!
The Greek food here is among the best I've ever had! I highly recommend the sharing platters - they don't leave you short. Also enjoyed the great service. Thanks for a great evening with my rowdy family!
Had a fantastic dinner at Yia Yia's with a group of 7 people. First and foremost, the service was so friendly and approachable! My partner and I got the taramosalata and saganaki as starters, and for mains the lamb souvlaki and moussaka. Both were very generous servings. Lamb was juicy and the m
By far the closest Greek food I've had in New Zealand compared to the foods me and my wife had during our honeymoon in Greece four years ago. Tzatziki was very fresh and authentic. Meat (especially the lamb) was cooked to perfection. Olives and hummus was a perfect combination with souvlaki. We on
Wonderfully prepared Greek food with great service. The saganaki really hit the spot and was very impressed with the moussaka. Very filling meal, I had to take half of it to go! Will return when back in Queenstown.
Food seemed fairly authentic and at reasonable price for Queenstown. Had a souvlaki which was nice and will probably go back to give the moussaka a try too.
Just had a banging dinner there, really well priced, great service and the moussaka was one of the nicest things I've eaten out in QT in ages! Look forward to going back
