4.4 | some of the best fish and chips I have had. We ordered the snapper special, was delicious! Fish was cooked perfectly and broke apart while having a great crunch to it. Chips were solid, added a bit of salt to make them pop a bit more (i think they are unsalted). Prices are fair for the quality
Walk up the ramp to the right of the building in the car park! Great hand cut chips. Crunchy, fresh and perfectly salted. Fish was not over battered either which was fresh and tasty. Excellent - portions were larger than we expected so we ordered too much! Staff super busy but still helpful and patient. Scallops excellent, not overcooked. Kumera chips tasty. Good selection of fresh fish. Dogs n allowed outside seating area but not inside - fair enough.

Was served by a really polite young boy/man. Was very efficient and friendly. Deliciously fresh and tasty fish and really good portions at such an affordable price! Coffee is quite nice too, not often you can go to a fish and chip shop, and also get a decent cuppa too!

The best fish and chips in New Zealand! Big portions for great value. Over and over again! I just love this place. It can get very busy during dinner time but its so worth the wait while soaking up the beautiful view. Sometimes you can catch them processing the fish that has been caught for the day.
