Review The Wharf Kitchen And Bar - Raglan

Such an awesome little restaurant! The staff are so welcoming and lovely. They were very accommodating to my dog and even brought out a little dog menu! Food was absolutely delicious and so fresh. Couldn’t recommend them more

We went to this restaurant after a very long day, arriving just on sunset. There are a few parks in front of the restaurant and as it wasn't busy, there were plenty of places to park. It is located on an older style building with French doors. The restaurant has a Northerly aspect that overlooks the harbour. The decor is pleasant but utilitarian. The menu is pretty standard, we ordered two mains and a starter for three persons, as we weren't that hungry. Food was above average but is not exceptional. Service was excellent. I wouldn't purposely take a trip to Raglan to visit this restaurant but if I was already there, I wouldn't hesitate to visit the place again.

We got married on the 13th of October and these guys took care of us like super stars. We gave them a rough number and agreed on a price. They then put together our options for buffet style. They let us add things that were not down as options to our selection. We had the entire restaurant to ourselves, fully staffed and at no extra cost other than the food. We LOVE that we were able to have our little dog with us on the day. They even have a Puppy Menu if you want to order snacks for your fur baby. There was nothing that we asked for that they didn't make happen. Thanks for helping to make our special day even more special.

Very welcoming attentive owner. great breakfast, food excellent. Re visit for dinner. Food delicious could have been a little hotter but excellent place to dine at. Staff, service excellent and now open Mondays!

Such a great find! Amazing menu with something to suit everyone. We were a family of 2 adults, 1 teen, 1 child and we all enjoyed our meals. The service was great, the gentlemen who I presume is the owner came for a chat and was super attentive to everyone to ensure they were receiving great food & service. Highly recommend.

Service was great, food didn't take long to come out and was also great, atmosphere great and what a view!! Only one night in Raglan so glad we had a beautiful meal 😋☺️

We had an awesome two visits to The Wharf over the weekend. Service was exceptional and the milkshakes and big breakfasts were delicious! Will definitely be back- highly recommend!

im a foodie on a motorcycle who travels the country reviewing great places to dine and this place doesn't disappoint , from start to finish it is well worth a visit. Had a very pleasant evening meal at the Wharf after a midwinter walk along the beach. Staff were very efficient and friendly. We only had mains and a beer but our food was excellent. We both said we will be back. The Seafood Chowder was exceptional 😋

This is a very pretty restaurant good service and good food. In fact the fish and chips were some of the best we've had in New Zealand! We loved sitting out on their deck in the evening enjoying a glass of wine and the lovely surroundings. Highly recommended, especially the fish and chips.

Really enjoyed the place. Showed up at 7 on a Thursday night,3 guys and place was nearly empty. Food was everything we'd hoped it would be. Had read reviews stating chowder was good and it really was delicious.Great value,food was superb and service was spot on. Thanks for a good night .

A lovely place to find as we're in Raglan for a few days. Great views across the river from almost every table, indoor and outdoor dining and a perfect chowder on one of those chilly evenings in spring which made our Wednesday night - with their bonus 2 for 1 on mains. Lovely staff too. We liked it so much we came back for coffee and brunch. Thank you!
