Review La La Land - Raglan

Epic hot chocolates! A real Raglan gem! All the hot chocolates we tried packed a flavourful punch with deep deep chocolate taste. Chilli, hazelnut and the salted caramel. Yum!

The BEST long black coffee I enjoyed in Raglan was from here. The decadent waffles & a cheeky brioche were also super delicious 😏❤️. Dog friendly - they even brought out puppaccinos for our dogs 🥰. Friendly, kind service. Happy birthday eve to me 🥳

Beautiful Coffee and food was even great. We tried carrot cake and waffles both items were very good, perfect portion size for sharing among small family of 2+2. Great interior and lights, plenty parking just outside. Staff were friendly and helpful, even though they were super busy. Must try!

This was one of my favorite experiences in New Zealand. I walked into this little shop with a group of friends questioning whether we should order anything due to lack of seating space. What a mistake it would be to turn around. I highly recommend their waffles, crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with just a perfect balance of sweet and tangy. We got a layered cake, waffles, hot chocolate and some puffs. Could not fault any of it. And the service was lovely as well. Whenever I am in Raglan, this will be my stop. High recommended.

La La Land has a fantastic selection of treats to reward yourself after a morning of surfing or exploring Raglan. The chocolate cherry tart is one of my favorites here. With that said, I've never been disappointed in anything they've served me. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is very cozy. Make sure this is a stop while you're in town!

The best hot choco. Although the shop is quite little on the inside, everything is not just aesthetically pleasing but will also please your soul. 😍 We've had the hot choco in salted caramel & butterscotch slice. Really good combo! Also, can tell that it's high quality cocoa they're using for the hot choco. Definitely worth it.

This was our last stop in Raglan before heading back to Auckland. After a day of walking what better way to relax than to grab some hot chocolate and waffles. The inside of the cafe is quite small. The front area has lots of different chocolates for sale from all around NZ. They also have their homemade mellowpuffs made with meringue in a variety of different flavours. There is a menu on the wall for the waffles and then a drinks menu behind the counter. They also have a cabinet full of cakes. their hot chocolate is also supposed to be really good and thick, but it was 70% so I'm not sure if it would've been too bitter for me. I had the standard iced chocolate and a toasted marshmallow loaded waffle. They only had two tables and a fairly large bench outside. We were lucky to get a table since the people occupying it left after we had ordered. The drinks came first. I liked the iced chocolate since it had ice cream and cream in it. The chocolate flavour wasn't super strong through. The waffles were really nice, covered in cream and toppings. I appreciated that the entire waffle was covered in the cream. The waffles were a bit soft for my liking though as I prefer a crunchy waffle. It had a nice amount of topping and tasted nice. It was a nice place to stop to grab some sugar after a day of walking. I also grabbed some of the mellowpuffs to take home and the double salted caramel one was really good.

All things in this chocolate place looked fabulous. I love good chocolate. My hot chocolate was nice, not so sweet. But the brownie and the marshmallow puff was over sweet and sugary. The service was nice and helpful.

The food and chocolate treats are delightful. Service is friendly, and we enjoyed our chat. The atmosphere is cute and the coffee was nice.

This place is SO CUTE!! There are so many vegan options for chocolates and waffles which is incredible. We had the chocolate salted caramel vegan waffles and they were DELICIOUS. They are huge - I would suggest sharing.

Cute little place , nice coffee and sweets. Lovely decorations .. you feel the peace and beauty of Reglan in this nice corner :) will sure go again They also have great chocolate bars even 100% dark cacao yesss !

Such a cute little shop! Amazing flavours, very nice owner, tons of gluten free options - the waffles are made to order, so they take a little while, but it's so worth it. Pictured below is half a portion, as we decided to share one. A great find, would highly recommend!

If you're in Raglan you MUST check out this little gem! The hot chocolate is immense - probably the best I've ever had! Super lovely staff too ❤ X

The shoppe owner was so kind- and the food and coffee was amazing! I got a cheese jalapeño scone that came with a healthy amount of delicious gluttonous butter and just the perfect amount of spice. My partner got the apple crumble muffin which was a sweet naughty breakfast treat and was paired perfectly with our gingerbread cappuccino.

A magical place. You just feel like you step into another world and time just slows down there 😊 I went for the hot chocolate and was not disappointed at all! Definitely a must in Raglan

Sweet little shop with lots of chocolates. Had some plain and almond croissants, which weren’t good actually. But staff and shop is very cute!
