Beautiful spot in the country just ten minutes outside of Auckland. Staff are helpful and polite. Did a great job housing and feeding hundreds of us last weekend. Ka pai
We had our 40th birthday at the inn and it was the most amazing venue we could have asked for. Lots of guests stayed at the motel which you couldn't top in terms of convenience. From the first point of contact we felt welcome and we're well looked after. Staff were amazing, Platters were outsianding and the venue was clean and tidy
Restaurant visit only. Very up to date decor and lots of seating space. Separated bar and restaurant areas. Large servings at mid to high price point. Hubby enjoyed his steak meal but my pork belly skin was rubbery and not crackling. Good service.
Yeah its a bit run down and worn but no tourist high flyer covid carriers here staff are awesome and the rooms are warm with heaps of truck patking just has a conpfey feel if your looking for fives star dont come here but the food is awesome (see the pic of the fish eggs and chips) and the bar is well stocked love the place so down to earth and unpretentious! Ill be back!
I visited the restaurant last night with a group of 8. We had a wonderful evening because the service and the meals were excellent! The food all arrived promptly and the waitress was very welcoming. The chef even came out to say hello and checked if we enjoyed everything. The lamb shanks, boil up (traditional Maori meal) and the pork belly were particularly delicious!! Thank you Country Inn staff :)
My stay here was great. A nice two bedroom room. With a three step walking distance to the pool. And better yep! The kai here is superb. And the desserts. Simple but also lovely.. If you were here. I'll go for the Cheesecake..
From the booking to the departure, our stay was wonderful. Although our large group of 20 young people was arriving late(8pm), chef prepared a late meal and we were accommodated with no fuss. Restaurant staff were friendly and interacted with our group. Can't speak highly enough of the treatment our group received and would book again.
Have been back multiple times. Amazing food, improving every time and lovely smiling staff. Can often seem understaffed but the young lady behind the bar shows no sign of stress. Recommend !!
Right from the onset from the call on the phone to book accommodation when there was none to fitting us in to the day we left. The customer service has been amazing! An accommodation spot where truck drivers use frequently but the management was aware of that so they placed myself and my parents at the back of the Inn, away from the noise. The room was tidy, clean with a kitchen and an amazing shower. A little wear and tear on items but to be expected. I would give this accommodation a 5 but that means it would be perfect but nothing ever is, there's always room for improvement. Great stay highly recommended and AMAZING customer service!
arrived late, but the staff were friendly n helpful.
room was good, neat n tidy however, jumping the bed to go sleep, to find it was on wheel's was a hoot !
ended up in the kitchen, in fit's of laughter.
