Really enjoyed my meal here. Food was the best Indian meal I've had. I say that with reasonable experience having many Indian restaurants in Auckland to chose from. Staff were both friendly and deliver their service with professionalism and care.

Really enjoy curry's from pocket full of spice. Most flavorsome curry's I've ever had. At first Seems Heavy on coriander but it balances out and works well after a couple of mouthfulls. I get lamb Roganjosh, they have Nice big chunks of Lamb and don't skimp on meat like some takeaways do. Highly recommend. I usually get extra hot. I'm very used to curry shops making it hard to get what I actually ask for, they assume I won't want extra hot 😂. Pocket full of spice has been great giving me what I ask for without too much questioning.

This is by far the best Indian restaurant between Picton and Dunedin. Meals are always consistent and high quality, good flavours, spices, meat is tender. Have been going there since they 1st opened a few years ago.

I had Indian food at this place for the first time in my life a few months ago and it was really delicious. After trying a couple other Indian places through New Zealand I came back here last week. The customer service was exceptional both times and after I tried some other places now I have to say that they do the best Indian food I ever had here in New Zealand. Can highly recommend them!

Popped in here last minute on Thursday to grab a takeaway. Soooo good! Customer service was great. The onion bhaji were so tasty. I would happily just snack on a few of those alone. And we had chicken tikka which was fantastic! Can't wait to get the opportunity to head back and try some other dishes. I also really like that there was a comfortable spot to sit while I waited, although it didn't take long. Honestly, the only thing I can fault is that I wanted more! Although the serving sizes were reasonable, and I probably couldn't fit more in, it was so yum I would have definitely tried! 😅

I am a fussy costumers when it comes to Indian food, I travel the country where I try a new Indian restaurant at every town and I tell you this one is the one you have been looking for. The best for flavour, spice, texture, freshness and very well priced! Still service in plastic containers but appart from that only positive to say! Keep the good work!

We have take-out and Dine in regularly and consider A Pocket Full of Spices the best in Rangiora. The food is consistently extremely good and service friendly. If you want a leisurely meal and want to spend the whole evening at the restaurant just let the staff know, they will attend when you want but leave you to linger over each course.

Have become regulars as this is the best option in North Canterbury. Lovely customer service. Fast and accurate orders. Great spice ratio

One of the best place to eat. Delicious food and very helping and professional staff. If you are around you have to taste their food to believe, it's awesome.

Food was better than average. However two dishes and 1 small bowl of rice. $3.00 for extra rice. You have to ask yourself if they are being stingy on rice, what else are they cutting back on. I won't be back.

We had the amazing taste sensation for a family birthday dinner last night. What an absolute treasure we have locally. Your food is amazing and so delicious! We will be back and will be telling all our friends how wonderful you are too.

Highly recommend this Indian restaurant, both for dine in and takeaway. On line is quick and easy. Consistently delicious dishes and wonderful service. Can't ask for more.

Amazing meal. We got butter chicken to take away and garlic na an bread and it was amazing and such a huge meal. Service was beyond amazing. Thank you.

Always get take away. Massive portions with loads of meat. Love your beef curries. Always great quality meat and very tasty!

We had a takeaway last night and the staff were very friendly and we didn't have to wait long. <br/>We had 3 curries, 3 nans and sag alloo which were all very good unfortunately my daughter asked for medium heat but her curry was as hot as her dads vindaloo.  Apart from that everything was perfect, there was a lot of food for the money and all of a good quality. Definitely going back there!

Lovely restaurant &amp; atmosphere. The service was great &amp; delicious food to match. Plenty of choice on the menu to cater for all tastes, set menus &amp; even something for the kids to try. Very enjoyable &amp; highly recommended.

It was our first time there, I booked a table the day before for 7.30. We arrived dead on time and had to wait for a table to be set up. So that was slightly annoying. Sat down at around 7.40 ordered and then had to wait for an hour before we saw any food arrive. At this point I was very disappointed. But as soon as I tasted our food decided it was worth the wait. It still annoys me that they ask if you want it mild, medium or hot. Each dish as there own unique taste and heat, so when I am asked this question I always just say, authentic please. <br/>When I look back the place was extremely busy inside and with takeaways so I can let them off for the wait as the food was the best I have tasted in NZ.

We tried a takeaway from here a few nights ago. Whilst we waited, we had a drink and I do have to say the service was impeccable. However, the food was a big disappointment. The butter chicken had just four pieces of chicken in it and the sauce tasted like condensed tomato soup! Likewise, the prawn curry had very few prawns. The other two curries were average. So, we won't be in a hurry to rush back.

Had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant last night with friends. The food and service was second to none. Would highly recommend, definitely going to be our Favourite Indian Restaurant. We decided that we would order a few dishes and Share. some of which were - Starters- Paneer Pikka, Vegetarian Platter, Tandori Prawns, Amritsari Fish, Mains- Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Pasada,The, Chief special fish, Beef madras, Chicken Jalfrezi. we had a variety of naan breads, from Garlic Naan to Peshwari naan which was stuffed with coconut pulp, sultanas, Cashew nuts and mango pulp.<br/>Our friend are from the UK and they say its the best Indian Food they have tried since moving to New Zealand.<br/>Thanks Sandeep and staff for the spice sensation that stayed dancing in our mouths long after we had finish.
