The atmosphere was lovely. The staff on today (Wednesday Lunch 8/11/23) were so friendly and polite. Our meals were absolutely smashing! Hubby had the Blue Cod (large), and I had the Nacho's with a side of chips. OMG!!! So good! Phone went flat so no photo of Blue Cod, sorry. Go see for yourself!
Excellent service. Friendly and welcoming wait staff. Comfortable indoor seating at tables and booths. Good selection of beers including some great local craft beers.
Food was good with a few of the usual favorites on offer. Good range of pizzas. Plenty of off-street parking.
Great food & service! Would give this place 10 stars if I could! Simply amazing! *Edit* I've been back 3 times since writing this review and it's still beyond amazing! Would strongly recommend coming here if you're nearby or passing by.

Went there this week and unfortunately the blue cod and chips were not very good. Beer batter was thick and chewy more than crispy. I asked for my chops to be extra crunchy which they weren't. Ordered side of lemon pepper squid too which came to us floury and lacking in taste. On a good note they re-did it for me but kind of spoilt my appetite by then. Thankfully the partner is a greedy guts
Had dinner on Sunday night. The young waitress was polite and I was very impressed. My chicken salad was delicious and so was the cream brulee cheesecake 😋
My dad, brother and I dine at the brook bar every Wednesday 😉 its consistently great food, lovely service and overall just an amazing restaurant x
The Blue cod was absolutely delicious, my husband loved it, best he’s had in years.
My t bone was cooked to perfection and juicy as, thank you (Phil) the chef and kitchen staff, thoroughly enjoyed our meal, when we are back this way will definitely eat here again and again, cheers Jeannie and Phillip
