Highly recommend this restaurant, beautiful meals, and yummy pudding. The Monster is the pudding to get, but will need two people to eat it. AA++

We called in for a dessert only dinner. Staff were pleasant and welcoming. Enjoyed our evening.

Five stags deserves five stars! The service was amazing and it’s Family friendly with a portable changing table. We ordered the roast of the day (beef), the beef cheek, and for desert the sticky toffee and date pudding. Food was sensational would highly recommend it to anyone, it’s worth the drive from Christchurch!

Our waitress was excellent and remembered most of our names which was a nice touch. Value for money was also excellent. The meals came out in timely order.

Great service. Fried chicken awesome, mussels and prawns were very good. Roast beef was average. The duck was good. Expected more from sambal and rice was crunchy. Definitely recommend swapping creamy slas to veg as since when is creamy slaw served with rice!! All in all definitely recommend. Will be going back

Good food reasonably priced and good service. Five Stags is located on the norwest side of Rangiora. The restaurant has a great layout with plenty of space and a stained wood decor. Great for large groups but as can be expected book early so you not disappointed. Families are welcomed as they cater for small children and there is plenty of car parks directly outside. Worthy of trying out as you can a very good meal for a reasonable price. For a nice evening out try Five Stags. I have been a number of times and it's always good.

Great vibe at Five Stags. Staff offered a warm welcome and the night just got better. Good menu, including over 60's choices, food delicious. You must check this restaurant out.

Group of 6 went for evening meal, we all had great service and the meals were very nice. Steaks cooked the way we ordered They have yummy desserts too Great atmosphere

Always a lovely place to enjoy a tender meal. Good sized portions and absolutely delicious. love the set up in the restaurant too, makes me want to bring a sleeping bag and park up for the night in the cabin, very cool indeed.

GREAT FOOD, HUGE PORTIONS. Seriously good place for serious food, I even went there twice! Green Lip Muscles are great, not a big portion, everything else is a good size though.

We were here for a Christmas function service was good, the meals were great.

Delicious fast well priced meals and friendly staff. Free sundaes for the kids too.

Amazing place with great service and staff, great meals felt well fed afterwards. Will be dropping in again next time we visit. The ribs are well worth a try.

Absolutely out of this world. I ordered the prawns and mussle with garlic bread as entree and for main, 400gr sirloin with chips and salad. Had to pinch my meat, thought I was dreaming. Well done to staff and especially Mr. Chef. Will recommend to others. Yours truly Tai
