Review Boundary Tap & Kitchen - Raumati Beach

Awesome dining experience. Went there for our end of year work do last year and just recently this year. Food was great, staff were awesome. Some customers joined in on the Christmas carols we sung, staff joined in with our dancing. Totally recommend. We will be back next year 🙂

Just had an excellent lunch at The Boundary. The food was cooked to perfection. We had the tacos, bean burger and beef burger. Delicious. Excellent options for dietary requirements. Would highly recommended. Reasonably priced. Fast service.

Enjoyed Sunday lunch here, started with tasty Southern fried chicken nibbles then open beef sandwich and seafood chowder(large) Food was very tasty, my sandwich could have been a little warmer but the staff are great, nice and friendly. We parked out the back and walked around to the entrance. Place was quiet when we arrived but soon other diners arrived. Toilets were very clean.We would go back.

Good selection of ‘pub’ food. Nice to have wide range of pizzas that are quite good. Burger range is small but varied. A bit disappointed to see that burgers don’t come with fries (it is clear on the menu that they don’t). Desert menu is good. Prompt cooking times and fairly accurate with there food. Friendly staff with good professional service.

Had dinner & dessert with a group of friends, the wait staff were all very attentive, friendly and prompt. The food was well priced, well presented and very nice. Everyone at the table were all impressed and agreed that we would not have any hesitation in going there again.

We ordered the fish and chips and a Beef burger for lunch. Fish was beautiful and fresh. Beef burger was also good. We left feeling very satisfied. Friendly staff and quick service.

Takes quite a while for food to arrive but the staff are wonderful and very kind, the waiters are a solid 10/10 very nice and friendly the food is ok but the size of the vegan chocolate mud cake is not worth the price of $16, I think that was quite a rip off as it was on the adults menu and yet that's something that you would have thought it would be served on the kids menu. The southern fried chicken looks like fish and kinda smells like fish-that was my experience atleast but overall I would recommend this place because in general it is a nice place and my favorite was the fries 10/10

This is our third time going to the Boundry and we have experienced the same thing each time - amazing food, amazing cocktails and fab service. We live in Wellington and make the trip to come to the boundary as much as possible

Didn't try the food but a great selection of beer (including a Porter!). Really friendly and accommodating staff. Definitely go there again!

Saturday night dinner. Restaurant was fully booked but we could sit in the bar area and order from the restaurant menu. Bit loud for us but that was our own fault for not booking a restaurant table. Good friendly service, quick 👌. Food was very nice and filling. Burgers, steak and pizzas. Will need to go back and try more of the menu. See you soon 😊

A must go to! Friendly, happy staff, fast service, great drink range and tasty food. Loved the salad options and my hubby loved the steak. We came with a group of 7 and all of us are very happy! A big thanks to the bar/wait staff for their smiles and quick service. You guys rock!

We had a wonderful dinner last night! My wife had the Halo Burger (V). Halloumi and portobello mushrooms were to die for! Fish and chips were good, though portion size for price was questionable. Overall we left full and very pleased with the service. This was not our first time at the Boundary and we definitely will be back to try some of the other options.

We were let down by a restaurant close by. Staff at The Boundary were very happy to accommodate us, their customer service was great and we had a wonderful dinner. Thank you for saving my birthday dinner 😊

Good food. Chicken strips weren't that good. Bit floury. Needed seasoning. Good for a (kinda) quick bite.

Visited for mothers day. Very nice meal.

Busy Sunday lunch but the staff still managed to give fast and friendly service. Calamari & Steaks were awesome. Can’t wait to come back again soon.

Really disappointing dinner tonight. We've been here multiple times for great lunches, so naturally thought we'd get a nice meal. Ordered the entree platter for two... but it was executed like an amateur... large hunks of deli meats slapped on a fat platter, cheeses swimming in oil, overly spicy pickle clashing with all other flavours. Huge chunks of bland brown bread where some thin crispy charred ciabatta would have really lifted this a notch. Even the waitress felt sorry for us as we tried to plough our way through it. For our mains we ordered the Chicken Caesar salad, (dressing on the side), and the Salt and Pepper squid salad. Squid looked delicious! But the strangely sweet batter was only half cooked...it literally oozed out still raw. My chicken and bacon was semi cold, dressing mayonnaise not ceasar, the croutons stale, inedible, and the anchovies placed on my partner's plate instead. The waitress accidently dropped the egg from the top as it was served, and although she was very sweet and apologetic, should have removed the whole plate for re-plating. Instead I received a soggy egg on a paper towel, which turned out to be over cooked and not runny. Service was otherwise good but the chef needs more training and more attention to detail. For one alcoholic beverage and all the above we paid just over $100. Beware.

Went with a large group for a birthday, they’d booked another party right next to our long table which wasn’t very comfortable. Food was average, most of the group didn’t finish their meals and were unimpressed. Caprese pizza was flavourless, steak didn’t come with condiments listed. Burgers and pizza were average and not worth the money. Looking around at other tables, other customers had left whole bowls of food sitting there. The best part was the delicious carrot cake, which was homemade and we brought with us.

Food and service is always great here and they have an awesome range of drinks. Very good place to bring kids too. Only downside really lack of atmosphere in the place, this is probably due to. it's large size though.

Decided to give the Boundary a go the other night.  Arrived and it was packed to the rafters, I think it was a quiz night.  Despite this we were greeted quickly and got a couple of drinks and found a table.  Everyone was polite and friendly.<br/><br/>I ordered the Scotch Fillet, was a little over cooked (I ordered rare) but was still tasty and came with a great sauce and sides.  My partner got a burger which he said was fairly good, again the meat slightly over cooked.  <br/><br/>All in all, it was a good overall experience.  It is what it is - a pub with fresh honest food.  Would return.

We have eaten here three times now, first time was with a large group and the food was ok. Second time was a dinner for three and the food was excellent. Third time food was awful. The portions are good and price is ok but we have not been back after the last for a meal.

Pleasantly surprised by our recent visit to the Boundary. Have been in for drinks previously, and always found the staff friendly and attentive and the settling lovely.<br/><br/>This past weekend, we finally had some food. I had a burger, my wife and kids had the fish and chips. We were all really impressed with the meals. Typical pub fare but done reasonably well. A little over-priced in my opinion, but the portion sizes were pretty big, so no real complaints.<br/><br/>Staff were excellent, really friendly, and great with the kids. (They also had a bouncy castle set up in the rear bee garden which kept the kids very entertained!).

Friendly service variety of lunches special $10 lunches on the day I had lunch 15/6/17 this delicious classic dish with a sauce that anyone would look for or coming back to this nice place to be with friends and family. Lamb fry and bacon with mash potatoe, gravy and onion jam yummy I had another $10<br/>dish i treated myself because I anit a small person having little meals hahaha lol.

This place was ridiculous. Me and my partner (both nearing 30 years old) went here on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm for some lunch. We walked about two steps in the door and were abruptly stopped by a young girl who looked to be about 15/16 and asked for our ID. We explained we were there for lunch only and she still insisted on seeing our ID to prove we were over 18. It was absolutely bizarre. Made even MORE bizarre by the fact it was Family Day at this place and there was a bouncy castle with small children jumping all over it on the outside deck. By far the most hilarious and frustrating request EVER. Ever.

Been here many times for the bargain breakfast that is good quality and had other meals as well that were good quality, good portion and good value so yes recommended and their beer was nice too, well kept and good choice.

Visited for lunch and sat outside which was pleasant. We all had burgers and they were good. Service was very good - relaxed but attentive. Prices on the menu were reasonable but not cheap for pub food. Would I go again - yes and would venture past the burgers for a change.
