Review Monday Sunday - Remuera

Very nicely decorated restaurant. Good selection of dishes to choose from, however nothing extra stands out. Food taste good. It's average Thai restaurant which you can stop by and enjoy the classical meals what you expect to find.

Tried this place for the first time last night and we were pretty happy, unfortunately the money bags were sold out but the chicken wings were surprisingly good and satay skewers were up to scratch. The red duck curry was above expectations, the sauce is beautifully sweet and you can taste the grape through it, the chicken penang was a 4/5, cant fault it however wasn't mind blowing. Prices were above average for thai so all in all we would happily go there again but gets a 4/5

Stir fry duck was amazing. Love the decorations and setting. Fairly close to where we live as well.

DEEEEELICIOUS! Portions is great too. Medium can be spicy for some people. Go for mild if you can't handle spicy food

The food was delicious and authentic. Our server Bell was the best part of the experience. He gave good recommendations, and they were spot on. We definitely enjoyed our meal, and would go back again.

We have driven by this place so many times and thought it was quiet and empty. How wrong we were! A great atmosphere and the service was wonderful. As far as the food goes we were all very happy. Three entrees and mains were plenty to share between the 5 of us. The flavours were so traditional and absolutely divine. We will be back and I think we may have just found our new local! Tip for new diners - it is BYO so come prepared (if not there is a bottle shop about 150-200m up the road).

We popped into this place randomly to give it a try. And no lie, it has one of the best Pad Thais I've ever had. Their fried red curry dish is also unreal! Friendly staff and easily some of the best Thai I've ever had for the price. A welcomed member of the neighbourhood.

We have never been to this restaurant. We came into some money and were feeling wealthy for the night so, of course, we ordered Uber eats. This place is expensive for a night in, around $25 per main, it was totally worth it! We ordered a yellow curry- it was packed full with chicken and big chunks of fluffy potato. Chicken larb Thai spicy- full of flavor and seriously spicy! We also got the Pad Nam Man Hoi- it had a really nice smoky flavor to it. Highly recommend you check them out. You will not be disappointed! Best Thai we have had in a while. Thanks guys.

Dishes were small. Dishes were expensive. Dishes were incredibly tasty. So in a bit of a conundrum, personally with the growing kids I need more value for money but for those who don't the flavors are superb.

High quality authentic food. This restaurant has adapted well to the current lockdown level restrictions, for both dine-in and take-away, without losing its warm atmosphere and great food! Highly recommend :)

We have been going to Thailand pretty much every year for 15 years. We have eaten in all kinds of restaurants there .... street food, local places , resorts , 5 star hotels . One of the reasons We return every year is for the food which is amazing . We have eaten in Thai restaurants here in auckland and never been really blown away until tonight. The food at Monday Sunday in Remuera was absolutely as good as what you get in Thailand . The whole snapper with tamarind sauce was to die for . Pad phed was so delicious , as was the spicy beef salad . All the dishes were authentic with really fresh ingredients . I can’t really understand why it wasn’t completely full.... maybe the word hasn’t got out yet just how good it is . So here I am spreading the word..... make sure you go and check them out . Thanks Monday Sunday..... you’re doing a great job

Ordered through uber eats, requested no mushroom in my spring rolls - no contact to say this wasn’t possible, just supplied spring rolls laden with mushroom so I had to steam the outside of the spring rolls soft so I could open the spring rolls and remove all the mushroom. Complained on uber eats and the restaurant refuses to budge, want to keep my $9.50 for a horrendous entree and their incompetence. Would not patronise an establishment like this who refuses to take responsibility for their mistakes. No integrity.

One of the worst restaurants I ordered food at for a delivery today on Valentine’s Day via UberEats. And here you cannot blame Uber Driver now! It ruined my evening totally! Thank you very much for spoiling mine! If you guys cannot cater you should not be on UberEats!

I messaged you via facebook on 3/6/18 7:24 PM and saw the message was read, but no one responded so will try here. Hoping for a prompt response. The message was as below. Unfortunately I have a complaint. I got takeaways last night from the st Heliers bay Rd store. A panang curry and a cashew stir fry, both with tofu. The curry had 2 bits of tofu and the stir fry had 3. At least the stir fry had lots of vegetables but the Curry didn't have many of those either, so basically it was container of sauce. Both of the dishes tasted really nice so the lack of tofu was a real let down.

Used to come here all the time but I will never go here again! We ordered takeaway dinner but they completely messed up our order, overcharging but giving us the wrong items. Really pissed off by this as I ended up paying $75 for 3 pad Thais, but 2 of them were mucked up so didn't even eat them all. Additionally one of the pad Thais were chicken and prawn, but there were only 2 mini prawns in the whole dish - seriously?! worst restaurant ever with terrible communication.

Was there for the 1st time last Sat after hearing about this place s while back...place was Empty! And thx food was average, loads of onions and mushrooms in the duck and chicken mains; and they did not have a license but had s bar...shame as was expecting more.

We love Monday Sunday Thai Remuera. When our family visit from New Plymouth they specially request to come here for the fabulous food, friendly staff and cosy atmosphere. Always a 10/10 😊😊

Absolutely delicious food here. Have been meaning to try this place for a while and was pleasantly surprised with the friendliness of the staff and the good. We only got take away and give very generous portions. The photo shows the soup and I also had the jungle curry thing and will be getting that again next time

Food was alright but portions were small for what they charge. Two mains and 2 entrees came to $60 for average dishes but one would expect better quality and quantity at that price (maybe they are used to 'downsizing' their takeaways for UberEats, who take a hefty cut). I had asked one of the dishes to be Thai hot and the other just hot, but was very disappointed as they were barely even kiwi hot (one was 'mild').

Irresistible Food!!! Especially the curry duck. We comes from browns bay for experience a traditional Thai cuisine. It wasn’t disappointed us. We loved all the dishes.

Poor customer service. Not child friendly. Main waiter was more interested in checking himself out in the mirror than serving us. Plopped a can of fizzy on our table and walked away. Very average food. We wouldn’t go here again.

I got a chicken jungle pad thai from here, the taste was pretty good but with not much veggies :( Really liked the quiet and jazz music here. Good decorations inside.

Absolutely in love with their Thai hot pad thai!!! I love both sweet and spicy flavours and their thai spicy pad thai satisfies all my craving! Love their satay chicken too. Great ambience and service too. Price is also average.

3 words. Yum, yum, yum! The staff are super friendly, I asked for takeaways and I changed my mind about it and asked to sit down and they gave me water, a table and extra rice like a dine in customer. Their red curry and spring rolls I get every time cause they’re just so good.

truly the best Authentic Thai food I have ever had. The food came very quickly and was absolutely delicious. our Waiter was very well spoken and although European, knew everything about the food which was quite helpful. We will deffinetely be bringing the family back again.

Authentic thai and delicious.

Big portions too and lovely customer service.

Have had great experience eating in and with takeaway

Highly recommended

The food here is absolutely amazing - some of the best Thai food I've had in Auckland. Unfortunately let down by poorly trained staff: took 45 minutes to get water after asking. The staff themselves were nice but perhaps need better management.

Very nice overall experience.
Great food.
Good size portion.
Reasonably priced.

A bit slow serving time without being busy. This need improvement.

Definitely coming back.

We tried fried rice with beef and deep fried snapper. Both were tasty and the ingredients seemed of high quality.
Jasmine steamed rice was to die for.
Ordered takeaway from the new St Heliers restaurant. Interior is well done - we'll be dining in next time.
We had the Pad Thai (medium) and Stir fried pork in sweet and sour sauce (hot). Both were good, Pad Thai with prawns was the winner of the two.
Spice is definitely Thai level not Kiwi level. Luckily we like it hot so wasn't too bad but definitely packing a punch on the heat scale!
We'll be back to try more.

It was the fairy lights in the trees that attracted me to this place and that it was just round the corner from my house! BYO is always great and on a Saturday night sharing a bottle of wine with a friend was great! Menu is a bit out of date as prices are a few dollars more but the ambiance of the place more than makes up for it! The gold napkin rings, silver cutlery and warm hand towels are nice touches! My pad Thai was very nice, and my friend tried the chicken Penang curry. Can definitely see this place becoming my new local.

Hands down the best pad thai in town! I stumbled across this gem on my way home and was not disappointed, been going almost every few weeks ever since! Definitely recommend this place, very lovely staff and amazing food!

Will admit the food is above average Thai .. but is so let down by what seems to be a kitchen that is not prepared.

We called for takeaways .. told 20 minutes .. got there .. just 5 more minutes. .. another 45 minutes later .. food .. Total wait time 65 minutes.

felt very sorry for the wait staff that seemed to miss led as much as us.
