Good coffee and absolutely gorgeous food. Staff is all very very friendly too. I've always had a good time here. Favorite dish is the chicken liver, but most dishes on the menu are good. Just be careful when you have special needs on coffee or food, make sure the staff understands what you need.

Amazing Coffee and an amazing egg Benedict, they are consistent and deliver great service. Can be busy and a little noisy in peak hours, but that what popular cafes are like these days. Highly recommended

Had the corn fritters and they were pretty good. Friendly staff and chill place. Prices are like any cafe but food looked really good.

Interested food. I have the bang bang chicken, did wish it was fried chicken, but it is tasty still. Would come back just to sit and have a coffee. Cabinet food look good too.

It surprised me that the simple scone & pie taste very good. Yummy. The coffee are good too. Love the vintage table, chair, window.

I liked the decor and funky lamp shades, food was tasty and well presented, good coffee, nice to see the owner working in the business too.

My lady and I are local residents in Remuera and this is my first time at this cafe. Reason is that our other place for brunch has dropped the ball rather hard. Anyway we ordered the staple comparison brunch of Eggs Benny for our taste testing and we're rather well satisfied. Will be coming back

Brilliant! Great service, friendly and personal. Meals were made quickly with vegan/gluten free options available. Aside from the steak all meats are free range and cooked to perfection! I recommend an iced coffee on a warm day! (Maybe ask for no straw though)

The burgers there are ABSOLUTELY THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER EATEN not even joking they are incredible... If you have the $20 dollars it's the best $20 you will ever spend bro (Yeah I'm the kid who said that they would give u 5 stars, from like a week ago, the burgers are ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐)

I had a bug crawl out of my salad once, but that was one time out of possibly fifty. Upland Café has the best coffee and dining option in the vicinity, and as long as you stay away from the overpriced items, there is nothing wrong with the place. Service is great and the location is relatively nice. Please either learn to make milkshakes or take it off the menu. Putting milk with chocolate sauce or some frozen berries does not make 'milkshakes'.

Very pleasant and well priced. A little cramped, but otherwise comfortable. Food is typical café fare; simple and enjoyable. Great for a good coffee and a quick bite.

A light and airy place, surprisingly cosy and warm on a cold winters day. The menu is varied and well priced, the food is good and comes in decent portions. A great place to spend an hour whether you come for food, coffee, beer or a prosecco.

Went there with my girlfriend and we tried both the burgers. Absolutely delicious and gigantic portions. One of the best cheese burgers I’ve had in Auckland, highly recommend!

We went there on Sunday for brunch and had the Bacon Benedict and Creamy Mushrooms and we were very impressed :-) Both dishes deserve 10 out of 10. Lovely staff - very friendly and helpful :-) Will definitely be back to try other dishes from the menu !

50/50 for us, cos my coffee and breakfast was yummy, but my husband got a bad coffee and he didn't enjoy the mince, paid but unfortunately won't be returning.
