Review Sno Cafe - Remuera

Ernest Li
Delicious breakfast Benedict and Nordic breakfast. The bread was dry. It would be great if a choice of types of bread is available. Coffee was not to our tastes. Very friendly staff and good atmosphere. (2023-11)

First time visitors. And we were really impressed. Friendly service. Fabulous menu. Dog friendly outside. Enjoyed the Swedish blueberry waffles and the chicken waffles. Great ice lattes. Kids enjoyed the unicorn hot chocolate. Recommendation would be to book as very popular.

The atmosphere is great and very different to usual boring cafes. The menu has some additional creativity that you don’t find often. We ordered the Nordic breakfast and Squid Ink Fettuccine. The Nordic breakfast was a solid 4/5 but was missing a crunchy component. The squid ink past was a 3/5 because it was lacking flavour, depth and my octopus was slightly over cooked. But I would definitely come again and hope you guys modify the pasta🙌

One of the Best cafe we've visited in AKL so far! - we've been to a few but this one was unique by far. Great food as we ordered chicken Waffles, and eggs benedict which were a little pricey however was made up with the portion size! Coffee was good, and the vibes even better. Would be keen to come again!

Loved the atmosphere of this cafe, I was not expecting it to be a top tier but it definitely exceeded my expectations. Customer service was packed full of joy and energy! Also the dish taste and aesthetic was well matched with the price in my opinion.

Nice bright and contemporary cafe with friendly and efficient service. The charcoal burger was juicy and delicious and fries melt in your mouth! Great selection of food and drink options. Would return to try other dishes. Tried the popular seafood chowder which was very tasty and filling, I would’ve preferred the soup to have been served at a hotter temperature.

The Snö, nestled within a stunning glass building, exuded an aura of elegance. Upon stepping inside, we were greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance. While I had previously enjoyed their delectable offerings through multiple UberEats orders, numbering around 3 to 4 times, I had yet to experience the joy of dining in person. The prospect of visiting the café had always intrigued me, as it meant immersing myself not only in the flavors but also in the complete dining experience, including the quality of service. During my inaugural visit to Snö, I was pleasantly surprised. The long black coffee I ordered was a masterpiece in itself, boasting a perfect temperature, tantalizing aroma, and an incredible taste. It stood out as one of the best coffees I have ever had the pleasure of sipping in Auckland. Moving on to the main course, my wife indulged in a delightful dish from their enticing winter special menu, while I opted for a tantalizing choice from their regular menu. As our plates arrived, we were captivated by the meticulous plating, showcasing the chef's artistry. Each dish was a harmonious blend of flavors, carefully prepared to tantalize our taste buds. The food surpassed our previous experiences with delivery, as it was served at the ideal temperature, allowing us to relish every bite. The winter special dish my wife ordered was a testament to the chef's attention to detail and their commitment to excellence. The service at Snö was exemplary, striking the perfect balance between attentiveness and discretion. The staff ensured that our needs were met without intruding upon our dining experience. Throughout the meal, they anticipated our requirements, promptly clearing plates and maintaining a tidy table. Their unobtrusive presence allowed us to enjoy our meal without any sense of inconvenience. It was a seamless demonstration of exceptional service that further enhanced our overall enjoyment. Our visit to Snö left a lasting impression. We were neither rushed nor overwhelmed by excessive familiarity. Instead, we were treated to an experience that left us eager to return, yearning to savor the remarkable flavors that await us. The combination of outstanding coffee, expertly crafted dishes, and impeccable service created a truly enchanting dining experience that we will cherish. We eagerly anticipate our next visit, counting down the days until we can once again indulge in the culinary wonders that Snö has to offer. In conclusion, Snö is a culinary gem. Its stunning ambiance, exceptional coffee, mouthwatering dishes, and impeccable service make it a destination worth seeking out. I wholeheartedly recommend experiencing the unique pleasures this café has to offer and eagerly look forward to creating more cherished memories there in the future.

Good tasting and well presented food. The spicy chicken waffle reminded me of volcanic rocks on Rangitoto Island.

Delicious Swedish meatballs and great service specially by their staff that greeted me in my language (Spanish) which was lovely. The space is really sparse and clean as compared to other places in Auckland and also the drinks are nice. Love this place, would recommend.

Seems it is a popular cafe, very busy on Sunday morning. They have got a creative menu, food is delicious, especially spicy fried chicken waffle, very yummy. Service is a bit slow I guess because it was busy, they forgot one of our order: chicken burger, but it came pretty quick. Not a fan of matcha smoothie. I could say this is my new favorite cafe in Auckland. You shouldn’t miss.
Linhong Li
Went because the high review points. Came in before 9 while it was not so busy, but by 9:25, cafe is full, people came after me got their food, but I am still waiting for some one came to take my order. Felt I’ve been totally forgot or ignored, End up just takeway some counter food. No service, no again.
Lyla
Loved the atmosphere, the desserts and the coffee! A bit packed, even on a late afternoon but would still visit again :)

Came for the special saffron risotto but it was sold out so got the mushroom & potato rosti stack with a side of pickles instead. The mushroom was huge and meaty and eggs were perfectly poached. The lentils were a little undercooked and it could’ve done with a bit more flavour but overall a nice meal. Portion size was decent but I still thought $23 was a bit steep. Pickles were yummy but again quite small for $4. Ordered a side of sausage for my friend received two huge traditional Swedish sausages - which according to him have a lot more grains and are smokier than your usual sausage but also a lot less greasy which makes for a pleasant experience. I was overall impressed with their vegetarian and gluten free options, along with the service provided by the staff
Roxanne Hopkins
Sensational!! Had the nordic breakfast, avo smash on rye and the waffles. Every dish was divine with different textures and elements, immaculately presented and very generous portions. The istaband sausage in the nordic breakfast was a standout. Glad I didnt opt for the usual bacon or salmon. The staff were amazing and the table service was a treat. Will absolutely be returning with my fellow food snobs x
K
Service was excellent! Staff was friendly, engaging and helpful. The red velvet latte tasted more like a chai latte to us. The mushroom potato rosti was delicious but portion size probably a little on the smaller side for the price. However overall a great experience.

Well curated and interesting Scandinavian influenced cuisine. Great service and coffee - cosy and cool atmosphere and vibe.

Had lunch with a friend here, and it was absolutely delicious! The portion sizes are generous and the flavours of the different components went really well together :) I had the lumberjack and my friend had the swedish meatballs
Punky Brewstar
Great venue and delicious brunch. Not too packed on the weekend. Kids menu.

The food is tastes good and the ambience is very nice ! It’s a great place to hang out with friends and take nice pics. There’s free wifi too which is a plus. Overall, very satisfying experience.

I have been here twice in 2 weeks and I have to say in all the years of cafe and restaurant dining, NEVER has the Manager said “thank you” for choosing the cafe to dine! The lovely Asian Manager thanked me both times for visiting and in these times, it’s the small things.<br/>I will come back again next weekend because I know she values my custom! The food is amazing and service too. Thank you for such a lovely experience.

Favourite place for breakfast!

A short walk from the new market train station. Snö is a beautiful venue and it appears there might be street side parking at opening.<br/><br/>The menu had a few options i was interested in but i couldn’t gloss over the eggs bene with salmon gravlax. This was up there with my favourite cafe dish the salmon was fantastic and a very decent portion.<br/><br/>Ill be back soon for other things

Service was fast, food and drinks were great. I’ve ordered a “Mushroom and Potato Rosti Stack” that was full of flavour, poached eggs were perfectly done. My husband had Egg Benedict with isterband sausage on side, the meal was huge and tasted really nice. We also had couple of lattes that were strong and creamy. I would definitely come back again and recommend this place to my friends:)<br/>10/10

Went here a while ago with a friend, the food is delicious and coffee/ drinks are amazing. During my visit there was a hair in my food, the manager was really nice about it and I understand accidents can happen but they handled the situation very well! Food tasted so good I was sad to see the hair

Always loved their food. Highly recommend their charcoal burger. It's so great when they update menu often

Updated on 1st August - this place is NO longer part of the gold offering. <br/><br/><br/>Good place with easy parking. The food proportion is decent and we always leave the place feeling full. It used to be 1 + 1 food on zomato gold and they changed it to 25% of total bill so you can easily hit $45 plus with discount for two mains and two most basic drinks. we won’t be visiting this place again unfortunately. We enjoyed it while it lasted.<br/>

I went with my dad and we ordered a nordic breakfast and smashed avocado on toast with a long black. Service was friendly and the food came within 10-15 minutes even though the cafe looked quite busy, with a table next to ours packed with around 15 people.<br/><br/>The food was quite nice. The smashed avocado toast was satisfying with the seasoning complimenting the avocado well. The portion size was also good. The nordic breakfast was alright; the sausages weren't anything special, and other elements similar to what you'd find in other "big breakfasts".<br/><br/>Overall was a good brunch!!! Would come back and recommend to friends.
Angie
I love the new winter menu @seafood chowder. Taste so delicious. Must try this, highly recommend👍👍
Ming
New management here doing a great job. I had the hulk bowl which has a bunch of goodies including avo, spirulina and spinach and is quite filling.
Yuanlinxi320
Definitely must visit brunch in Auckland!Highly recommend. Nice imterior design, friendly staff and gorgeous food!
Charles Ho
Good service, nice environment. Food however was a bit heavy without enough variety. Charcoal burger was small and meat patty turned out to be undercooked mash. Unfortunately did not meet my expectations.

I love the vibes, the coffee and the customer services are really friendly!! If you’re into the healthy and flashy cafe, this is the one and you should give it a try. As it was definitely a great food adventure, i decided to order something new, and it turnt out to be really well presented and out of my expectation that the couple of 1-2 bites were really good, even though i wouldn’t say the best of food i’ve had but it was sure worth to try out a new thing coz you never know what you going to get until you tasted it and it was not too bad and i’ll come again next time for the coffee and other food!
Cammy L
Menu had lots of exciting options and service was great. The breakfast burger was good - decent portion and well presented. The lumberjack was more disappointing - the dish overall was quite dry, there wasn’t a good balance of sauce and textures. Both dishes lacked in flavour and needed more seasoning. And the matcha latte seemed too diluted. Overall for the price you’re paying, it doesn’t live up to expectations.
Leah Keys
Super yummy food and very friendly staff

I came to Snö after seeing it was on 1+1 gold with two other friends. Firstly, the interior is beautiful, the white decorations and light brown wooden tables fit the snowy theme really well and made the cafe super cosy. The service was quick and efficient, food came out at a decent rate as there were only two tables before us. I got the eggs your way (folded) with ciabatta and gravlax ($19) and my two friends got the Nordic breakfast ($21). <br/><br/>I found the taste of gravlax to be unique. It wasn’t salty at all and just tasted like what it’s supposed to taste like (raw salmon). The eggs in my opinion were a bit too creamy and buttery for my liking but still pretty delicious and satisfying for a colder summer day. The ciabatta was delicious, crunchy and satisfying just like a good ciabatta!<br/><br/>My friends found their dish to be different to their expectations. I would come back to try other dishes such as the cruesli.
Rachel
Love the vibe and atmosphere :) I didn't try the coffee today but Sno's coffee is generally good. For today, I had Potato rosti and it didn't reach my expectation as it has too many flavours and pretty close to sweety taste. I am more savoury type person so could not actually finish the whole dish. I rather try different dish than potato rosti next time :(

Full disclaimer, my wife is half Swedish & was over the moon when we decided to have brunch here.<br/>My wife totally freaked out when she discovered that one of the wait staff was Swedish so there was a lot of Swedish spoken, because I’m an insensitive clod all I could think of was the chef from the muppets.<br/>The coffee, my wife was happy with her flat white with soya, my normal flat white tasted burnt.<br/>Friends arrived, we ordered & my wife raved about her blueberry pancakes, our friend’s partner was happy with his eggs hollandaise.<br/>My poached eggs, sour dough & mushrooms was an issue. Let me say that these were the best poached eggs that I’ve ever had, poets would be writing sonnets to these eggs. Sadly there the wheels fell off, the sour dough came across as more stale than toasted & the mushrooms were so salted that I could feel my tongue curling & I am a total mushroom addict.<br/>My friend had the mushrooms on Rosti & pretty much pushed the plate away saying ‘I can’t eat this, it’s too salty’ halfway through the meal.<br/>I liked this place, the wait staff were wonderful, just keep the chef away from the salt
Agatha
Everything was great. Food was lovely. Except the wait staff who took our order was not so welcoming and unfriendly.

Amazing food 👌

One of the best spots in Auckland, the breakfast burger is savoury with a slight sweetness to it, always goes down a treat.
Shannon Leary
Went for lunch because its Zomato Gold.<br/>Both of us had the charcoal burgers.<br/>the burger was AMAZING, meat well flavored, cooked to a good medium, etc. Fries were... blah, touch cold (probably just a timing issue). <br/>Service seemed like the employees were focused on prep work not on the half full cafe's customers.<br/><br/>Value- burger and fries for $26/each. If I didn't have Zomato Gold, I would call it overpriced.

Gave Sno a try and was not let down! Was hesitant due to being owned by Dear Jervois which I do not rate. The service was quick and super friendly! I got the hulk bowl which was so nice and super filling the amount of granola is very generous and the mix of the smoothie with the crunch of the granola was perfect. Yum coffee too! The Eggs Bennie was good with a nice hollandaise that was lemony and not too heavy. Was a really nice experience will defs be back!

The restaurant location is in Remura. But it’s really hard for parking. The environment is nice . So many foreigners walk in and also some nearby working people coming. The chicken salad is awesome. But the iced americano is not tasted well. A little bit source.

Food was presented nicely and service was great. <br/>

The place is amazing especially if you have gold. Friednly staff, amazing and fancy food, the Hulk bowl was really great. It definetly become one of my favourite cafe in Auckland.

This restaurant was absolutely amazing and worth the money. We had the blueberry waffles, and eggs on toast. They set a nice, calm mood with their choice of decor. Service was really friendly. Just all around amazing. Just waiting to visit again next time.
Kellie Lee
Food was amazing here, appearance AND taste. Couldn't fault anything :) lady who served us was super friendly, lots of parking available too. Pretty $$$ for a chicken salad but hey, can't expect less for such quality ingredients and cooking.<br/><br/>A must try for cafe hoppers
Mia
Very tasty dishes and good interior. highly recommended. friendly staff around. Will definitely take my friends here.
Natalie QP Chen
The blueberry waffles tasted just as amazing as they were presented ~ contrasting texture of the crunchy granola with the soft fluffy waffles were heavenly, it wasn’t too sweet as the tartness of the poached rhubarb and pear balanced it out ~ <br/>If u go ~ Smoothies are a must too !

Walking into Snö Cafe you get a fresh, clean vibe with minimalistic interiors. It was busy when we got there on a Sunday morning and my friend put our name down for a table. We got a table in about 5 mins so the wait wasn’t long. The staff were quite friendly. I was quite excited to try the food after hearing about it on Facebook and the Denizen. I got the mushrooms and potato rosti stack, while my friends got the waffles and soba noodles. The food was okay but not amazing. I definitely expected more flavours for the price - I’m glad I had Zomato gold so it turned out a bit cheaper.
Carl Zhang
The food was amazing and our waitress (Caitlin) always makes us feel so welcome! We will definitely be back here
Shirley Li
Really recommend this place as the staff are friendly, the portion sizes are really decent and tastes great too! Was really packed and busy when we went but the food came out quick.

Consistently amazing food and service. Coffee is always good. We love the potato rosti and granola.

3.5/5 Taste<br/>5/5 Display <br/>4/5 Quantity <br/>4/5 Customer Service<br/><br/>Decent Cafe in New Market.<br/><br/>Good Food, decent price but hard to find carpark around the area since its close to Newmarket. <br/>Waffle I ordered was great with a bit of granola added for extra crunch. Everything looks clean and tidy I loved how it was so white there.<br/>Defs worth a try!
Little Borneo Girl
A neat cafe in a sunny location. The set up with open and very clean and tidy. The menu was a mix of cafe food with an indication of healthy and superfood kind of feel (at least for me when I read the menu). With this extra eg. lentils added to a standard portobello mushroom on top of a potato steak, I do not mind to pay a little extra as prices were indeed a bit higher than most cafe. All of us enjoyed our order. <br/>This restaurant is a Zomato Gold Restaurant so we ordered 3 dishes and only paid for 2. (You could get buy 1 free 1). Join Zomato Gold with this code LITTLETD for a discount.

Have been here a number of times and I really enjoy their mushrooms or the soba salad. It's always busy but worth a wait.
Yu-Lin Tsou
Food was pretty good but the coffee is really disappointing. There is only a thin layer of really rough milk foam and the coffee wasn’t smooth at all.
Tanz
Nice place and good interior. The menu has lots of options for vegan, many of them cost extra to add meat. Food came out quickly but the taste wasn’t that great - pretty average in my opinion.
Rhiannon Sinfield
The aesthetic and decor of Sno Cafe is very minimal and modern which drew my attention as well as the ambitious and intriguing menu, however it is a shame I have to say the taste overall was most bland! I ordered the Swedish blueberry waffles, accompanied by the unicorn white hot chocolate. The hot chocolate looked very cute, with the sprinkles, and it’s sad to say it just simply tasted like hot foamed milk. Disappointing. The waffles also fell short, no real flavours stood out. I initially ordered this as a lighter option (with the ‘cruesli’) however could not taste any real flavours and I did not finish the dish. The price also seemed a little steep considering the contents. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be returning, which is a shame as it’s quite a cool location.

Vibrant lively ambience, good music, yummy food, big portions. Staff were attentive and pleasant. My family enjoyed it very much. Would recommend.

New to Zomato gold this place was on the list for 1 + 1 food so we thought we’d give it a try. Arriving at midday to catch up with friends there was a 20min wait for a table. The waiter kindly suggested we wait inside on the bar stools. There is plenty of seating outside which would be perfect for summer but wasn’t ideal for a chilly day! Once seated we had plenty to choose from on the menu. We started with coffee and our flat whites were great! Only complaint is that they were a small serve. The unicorn white chocolate was creative and yum with colourful sprinkles and a rainbow twisted marshmallow, very cute!<br/><br/>We ordered the blueberry waffles (switching the waffles for the gf ones as out waitress recommended), mushroom and Rosti stack, charcoal burger and the breakfast burger. Everyone was happy with there meals! The waffles were light and fluffy as they should be. Served with poached pear and rhubarb, vanilla bean icecream and maple syrup is was surprisly balanced well and not too sweet. The mushroom and rosti stack was also recommended as a star dish which was very tasty and a good portion. The charcoal burger was a nice twist with a black charcoal bun and Swedish meat patty. Served with fries it was a filling dish. The breakfast burger was good, the brioche bun with lashing of garlic butter was really good. Wasn’t too sure about the blueberry compote so took them out to be safe. <br/><br/>Overall great food and service. The staff two staff we dealt with were very accomodating and made sure we enjoyed our visit. Would definitely return again! Keep up the good work guys 🙌🏼

This cafe is a lovely new additional to the suburb. Well decorated, frendly staff, gorgeous looking dishes. Nice place to catch up with friends. May be just the dish Smashed Avocado I had was not the usual taste you would expected, it was super saltly and sourry, so I only gave a 4 star. I also find the dishes relatively small in portion. Otherwise would be a 5 star. Appreciate Zomato Gold experience, and I will come back to try another dish.
Ana
I was taken by a friend to try this cafe, using Zomato Gold offer. It is by the same people as Jervois Road and this is one of my most favourite cafes in Auckland so I had high expectations.<br/><br/>To start on a good note, service was great - friendly staff and prompt serving of the coffee and food. The interior is very stylish and cute.<br/><br/>Now to the coffee - the flat white was not good at all, not sure what kind of coffee beans they use or maybe it was the milk but it tasted sour! The dumpling soup - the soup was weirdly sour, lemony almost? Really not a good mix with the prawn in the dumplings. The dumplings itself were great but I'm not sure if you can pass it off as dumplings in the traditional sense as the skin tastes like pasta.<br/><br/>The Scandinavian Tostada - the flat bread was stale, the salmon was more poached and didn't have a very smoked flavour. The salad dressing was again sour, but not in a pleasant way. The coriander and dill were pretty much dead (see photo).<br/><br/>All in all the food experience is less than desirable, but service and atmosphere were great. Maybe in a few months we'll give it another go with other items on the menu as other reviews seem reasonable.

It is a bit far away from other places in Newmarket being on St. Marks Road. The menu is quite interesting with a Swedish twist to them. Although the blue waffles looked interesting I ended up with the mushroom and rosti stack. The rosti was nice and crisp and the mushrooms were nicely cooked. I also quite liked the lentils at the bottom adding a different texture to the dish. I also tried the unicorn hot white chocolate. It was an interesting take, with a rainbow marshmallow horn on top, but I wasn't a fan of the flavour.<br/><br/>The place felt quite upscale with the white decor and window walls. Both the food and the service was quite nice.

Sno Cafe has a cute and modern interior with minimalist designs surrounded by glass. Staff is friendly and attentive. Food is delicious and fresh! We had the Chicken Salad and Black Bun Burger. <br/><br/>Chicken Salad: Everything went really well together and the chicken was tender and seasoned with lemon perfectly! <br/><br/>Burger: The charcoal bun is soft and covered with sesame seeds. The burger is smaller than your average burger but tastes delicious! Comes with fries and a side of aioli and ketchup!

Been here twice, for brunch (always with zomato gold). It's always busy but it's a lovely place. The attention is superb and the food is amazing. First time I had Eggs bene, today I've shared the GF waffles and the Breakfast burger with my partner. Everything was excellent, generous and yum. Will come back (as I've already done).

On an early rainy Sunday morning, easy to find a parking. Four of us arrived for breakfast, cosy seating environment, quickly made our orders, meals served quick and food generally well presented, standard modern cafe food, three of our meals come with hush brown which was a bit dry.... friendly services.

*3.5<br/><br/>We came here with Zomato Gold and ordered a Red Velvet Latte, Flat White, Smashed Aubergine on Innocent Loaf, and Swedish Blueberry Waffles.<br/><br/>Starting off with the coffee, my red velvet latte tasted very watery and bland, while my mum’s coffee also tasted watery and quite sour. Quite disappointing as there was only one size available - small for $5.<br/><br/>The dishes were a bit too light for my liking, aubergine was the reason I ordered the roasted aubergine however, I couldn’t taste it at all. The dish wasn’t seasoned as much as I would’ve preferred, so I left feeling not completely satisfied and full. I enjoyed the waffles a bit more as there were a bunch of different elements and textures on the plate. With fresh fruit and just a small amount of maple syrup, it was refreshing and not overly sweet.<br/><br/>Nice, clean environment although not very spacious. Unfortunately, the dishes didn’t match my palette very well, although my mum thoroughly enjoyed everything. Highly recommended for those who enjoy light and healthy meals!

Used Zomato gold here- this cafe is super busy on a Sunday but we went at a good time where we only had to be put on the wait list for about 5 min. We sat down but weren’t given a menu or water for a while but I guess it’s because they’re quite busy and might have forgotten. The man with the glasses who served us was very lovely. Despite them being so busy the wait time for food was not too long- roughly 15-20 min? I ordered the mushroom potato rosti and my boyfriend got the charcoal burger. The mushrooms were delicious. The burger wasn’t anything amazing although my boyfriend quite enjoyed the patty of the burger. Portions were well sized although I don’t think we would come here to pay $22-26 for each meal without zomato gold haha
Florence Lai
Went there with my partner on a Saturday afternoon. Food came quickly despite the whole cafe being almost packed. My partner ordered the flat white and eggs Benedict and thoroughly enjoyed it. I ordered the mushroom and potato stack as well as the matcha latte. I was not a fan of the matcha latte and found the potato stacks in my meal to be very dry and bland while the mushrooms were very salty. Both drinks were expensive for the size. Was a good deal with the zomato gold but with so many cafes everywhere you go, I doubt my partner and I will be going back.<br/>Staff were friendly and the interior looked chic.

Amazing place for a chilled morning! Love the service, food. Staffs are friendly, brunch is tasty. Will definitely come back in the future. Love it!

Good quality food and cozy ambience! Really enjoyed the blueberry waffle! Generous serving and food were well presented! Will definitely come back!

came here for brunch with a friend today. the environment and atmosphere was really nice and staff are friendly. I liked my eggs benedict the potato mash is very filling,my friends mushroom stacks was very tasty.

Great little cafe with great food and great service. Had a really hard time deciding what to eat with so many tasty options! Staff were super lovely with giving their recommendations. Ended up order the gluten free waffles which was so yummy! Highly recommend

Great cafe! Coffee is nice and strong, food is generous and creative. Had the breakfast burger which I really enjoyed, especially the blueberries on top. Been here twice and will be back.

I really like the taste of the smoothie here. It is thick with balanced of favourite. Staffs are friendly and nice looking.<br/>I am ok with the price for the drink and service.

First visit here and used zomato gold. We have a member of the family with food allergies. The staff were really great and understood our concerns. We had the Mince and the salmon which was really yummy. Lots of interesting dishes on the menu to keep coming back.

Stopped in for lunch with a friend today and was so happy and pleased with this place. Heard great things about this cafe and was not disappointed at all ! The service here is so friendly and sweet and the waiter for our table also had some banter which we both enjoyed. The ambience is so pretty and suits the Swedish culture and really suits the name of the cafe as well. I ordered the Iced mocha which isn’t something I usually get as my go to is a sweet coffee yet was really happy with my mocha just needed a bit more sugar for my tastes. The “ Swedish blueberry waffles “ were such a delight to have after having a hard day at school. The look of the waffles was so pretty and the taste was even better. My friend was so happy with her meal as well and we both agree that the highlight of our waffles was the ice cream on the side. Safe to say i will definitely be back here soon x
Dineaandwine
Food was average. Overpriced. Ambience was good. <br/>Other than that there is no reason to go back to this place. The lady probably the manager is rude and my friends have complained about the same thing. The glass smelled so bad like someone cracked an eggs in there. Maccas coffee tastes better tbh.<br/>

20%off Zomato Gold code: JHYE0127<br/><br/>It was great food<br/>It was busy but food came quickly<br/>I noticed that many restaurants who are zomato gold partners take long time after getting orders from customers. But this cafe was quick enough<br/>I may go there again for other dishes<br/>We had prawn dumpling soup, blueberry waffle.<br/>Very Presentable
Sorry_vonguenumber
Great little cafe. Nice bright atmosphere. Friendly staff. Had the mushroom stack which was really well done. And the spiced mince which was very tasty. The only minor let down was the activated charcoal smoothie that didn’t really taste like anything but some watery drink.
DayToy825
Finally I had this blueberry waffle after all my friends tried it and recommended it. Well, it’s good, not that sweet, just the right amount of sweaty that I like! The breakfast burger is good. However the one thing that bothers me is that the unicorn sweet white chocolate I ordered. It tastes 100% like pure milk... not white chocolate... overall, I like the experience of having brunch here. Also it is in Zomato Gold! Very good!
Giraffe
Used our zomato gold to ty out this cafe. We went there on a Saturday so the cafe was a little bit pack but the food came really fast. There’s parking at the end of the street after you see the cafe on your left. We had the egg benedict and breakfast burger. The food was good but I think the burger was a little bit greasy.
Ivy Ho
Very good customer service and tasty food! I love the blue berry muffin and chips, of course the burger also very good. Will come again definitely!
Fiona Yao
A beautiful place to enjoy lunch with few close friends. Warm greeting, fast service. Food is not only delicious and full of flavours, also full of quality healthy ingredients. Fresh smoothie is divine. Love it! Zomato Gold for sure gives a even better value on top of it. Came twice already, would come again and again.

Great service, very open space and nice atmosphere, Sno is tucked away in an unsuspecting corner. There are car parks available on the side street which is super handy!

Finally got to try the hyped cafe of 2019 aka @sno_by_dearjervois 🙊🙊🙊.<br/>We ordered the roasted aubergine ($21), hulk bowl ($17.50) and the soba noodle salad with chicken ($25).<br/>.<br/>.<br/>.<br/>Food: 3.5/5<br/>Atmosphere: 4/5<br/>Service: 4/5<br/>Value: 3/5<br/>Recommend: 3.5/5<br/>.<br/>.<br/>.<br/>I feel like this place is quite hyped up since it's by dear jervois, but personally, I didn't find the food that special. Just the standard cafe food with hype-worthy names 😅. The interior was pretty cute and had nice lighting 👌👌. We did enjoy the chicken in the soba noodle salad tho being pretty moist 😊👍. But the overall dish was quite average. Maybe it's a preference difference 😕. I found the hulk bowl the best from the three but not sure if I'd be willing to pay $17.50 for it without zomato gold. Am willing to try some of the other dishes tho so will be back soon!

Gorgeous food, gorgeous service, gorgeous ambiance.<br/><br/>Having brunch inside a bright building with the sun shining through is literally my perfect brunch scenario.<br/><br/>Mushroom rosti stack:<br/>The mushrooms were so so juicy and sweet, rosti thick and hearty, perfect poached eggs.<br/>Blueberry waffles:<br/>Waffles were crispy and paired so well with the marscapone, rhubarb, and blueberries.<br/><br/>Amazing service from the beautiful lady who served us. They have zomato gold too which means I can visit often without breaking the bank. Highly recommend.

This is a new beautifully decorated Scandinavian themed cafe in Remuera. We won one free meal and one free drink for Sno Cafe from a Instagram foodie competition so decided to go there for Sunday brunch. The staff were very friendly and attentive which provided great services. We ordered the Blueberry Waffles and the Super Berry Smoothies. The waffles were presented beautifully and obviously decorated in blue, it was a very delicious light dessert. We really like the berry smoothies as it complemented the waffles as they were quite sweet. We would recommend waffle lovers to give this blueberry waffle a try and they have other interesting options on the menu as well.<br/><br/>Smart Tip: This cafe is actually on Zomato Gold so you should definitely give it a try while it is still on there.

Came in on Sunday with family for lunch. Ordered the mushrooms on potato rosti, bacon eggs benedict and tumeric latte. Never tried tumeric latte before so I wanted to give it a try. Personally did not really like it. Will try red velvet latte next time. Mushrooms were huge and soaked up lots of flavour from the sauce. Potato was delicious and shredded nicely, giving the potato stack lots of texture. Eggs were poached perfectly. Cafe atmosphere was beautiful. Staff were patient and friendly even though it was raining and the place was packed with people.

<br/>nice place really sunny, I had a really nice lunch with frind, food is great and good quantity.<br/>Just might they really busy today so service is not that great. Hope next time can do better. See you next time.😉

This Scandinavian-style cafe has proven to be a popular addition to the Remuera/Newmarket food scene. There's something about the outside seating area and bright white interior with the sun shining through that I absolutely love - the place looks so elegant! We went for a late lunch so it wasn't as packed as it gets during peak lunch time, which meant our food was served pretty quick. I don't usually order burgers at cafes but I've heard good things about their burgers so I gave the Breakfast Burger a try. Comprising of scrambled eggs, bacon and a large potato rosti, it did not disappoint and I would totally get again. I can't wait to try more of their menu, especially since they're on Zomato Gold - will be back soon!<br/><br/>Check out my insta @ohmyfoodiegoodie to follow more of my tried eats!

This place is super busy on the weekend so make a reservation if you don't want to wait. They have table service, and the staff are very attentive and friendly, despite being busy. The food is ok for cafe food, nothing spectacular. The coffee is good, but it's a bit busy and loud for us so we probably won't be back.

The food was amazing. We particularly like the waffles that we added to our mushroom and potato rosti stack. Even better that they are part of Zomato Gold.<br/>Interesting menu, good vibe and yummy food. Chairs were a little too low at the dining tables though!<br/>

It was superrrr busy, hence our charcoal burger and breakfast burger came 30mins after..Luckily the quality of the burger didn’t let me down! Large proportion, crispy bun & bacon + juicy patty! Love the jalapeños & pepper jam added to aioli with a hint of truffle aroma! The flavour combination blends in perfectly! However, I couldn’t finish it as it gets a little greasy & oily for me towards the end but overall it was pretty satisfying :) ⁣⁣<br/>⁣

We came here for lunch around 1 pm and there was no wait which was good. The reason why we came was became our friends had been talking about it. Unfortunately, it did not live up to its expectations. We ordered the blueberry waffles and the tostada. We found the waffles rather inconvenient to eat as there was no sauce to bring the elements together. The tostada was also rather underwhelming as it was like a deconstructed sandwich. The red velvet latte was a bit watery but the mocha was very tasty.<br/><br/>Food: 6/10<br/>Service: 7.5/10<br/>Ambience: 9/10

Pretty cafe in remuera - Been here few times; their blueberry muffins is really good, the mushroom’s also nice and comes in good portion; the hulk bowl really packs a punch with good stuffs (avo, spirulina, kale) so yummy and very filling! will def be back 😋

I had the mushroom dish and my mum had the spiced mince. My mum said hers was a bit average. For mine, although the potato rosti was a bit too salty for my liking, everything else about the dish was great! I love mushrooms and I really liked the combination here, it’s different from the usual mushroom-egg-sourdough you’d get elsewhere. It’s really filling too. The coffee was great as well 👍.

Friendly staff and great food!! <br/>It was really busy when we went there, but we didn’t have to wait too long for our food. <br/>Generous portion!!!

I had high expectations coming to this place as it had been quite the hype lately. It was definitely not disappointing! The interior decor paired with the sun beaming in the glass windows set the tone for a good dining experience. Came here on a Saturday morning when it was quite busy, but the wait staff were friendly and had us seated within a few minutes. <br/><br/>We ordered the mushroom and potato rosti stack and the blueberry waffles. The mushroom and potato rosti stack was tasty! The crispy potato complemented the flavoursome mushrooms well! The blueberry waffles were quite surprising as they incorporated the flavour into the batter it seems. The serving size seemed small but was quite filling, but could have done with more toppings. <br/><br/>All in all, it was a lovely dining experience! Not only was the place itself aesthetically pleasing, so was the food! <br/><br/>Food: 8.5/10<br/>Service: 8/10<br/>Ambience: 9/10

Blueberry pancake is pretty crunchy and delicious. Coffee is bit of disappointment. Don’t order the unicorn coffee it’s milk with marshmallows for kids. Good interior design with very friendly staff. Can be quite busy in weekend.

Great new local, loads of parking and seating. Was full by 8:30am but service is super speedy so there was always capacity if you waited 5-10 mins. The food was awesome and the setting was light and bright.

Very unique and tasty menu options. Customer service and ambiance is great too. My only reservation is that it is so busy that it is hard to get a table and staff seem a little flustered. Will definitely be back to try out more of the options and have another one of the super tasty muffins :)

Went there for lunch today. The food wasn't as good as I hoped. The food was a bit plain, would've liked more flavour and salt. Coffee was average. The environment was great though! Customer services from the lady are rude.

Came here for lunch with my friend today. Tasty food, looks different and fancy compared to other cafe. Ended up getting a healthier lunch than I would have thought too. They also have some unique attractive cookies which I plan to try next time :)<br/>Taste 4.5/5<br/>Service 4/5<br/>Ambiance 4.5/5<br/>Value (price and portion size) 4/5<br/>Creativity as bonus 5/5

Got the unicorn white hot chocolate but it wasn't very chocolate. Still pretty cute.<br/><br/>The food was pretty good and the place was really busy :)

It seems that every aspect other than the food itself was great and noteworthy; the service, the atmosphere, and decor. It’s like as if Kikki K were a cafe - elegant and cute Scandinavian styled aspects and themes were scattered around the cafe, but wasn’t necessarily present in the menu selection. <br/><br/>The food was pretty boring (i’m sorry!). I’d hate to critique this place because the service was absolutely lovely 💛 The mushroom and potato roasti stack was actually okay at the start, but over the duration of eating it, I just wasn’t impressed with it.
MadDogReviews
Style over substance unfortunately. Pleasant, airy Scandi room and the staff are eager to please (though some of them were quite green) but the food was sub par. I had the porridge (new addition to winter menu) which was milky, thick porridge served with a quenelle of mascarpone/custard type stuff (was not referred to on menu so unsure what it was) and some brown butter. Overall it was underseasoned and bland (needed a pinch of salt and more sweetness) and the brown butter was sickly. The candied hazelnuts on top were lovely though. <br/><br/>SG had the charcoal burger which he said was okay. The accompanying chips were also underseasoned. <br/><br/>Coffee was nice and the muffins looked great though we didn't try them.<br/><br/>Overall we wouldn't return. Disappointing as I am a longtime fan of Dear Jervois.
Dan Ali
Service was good, but the food was below mediocre and way overpriced for what it was. The blueberry waffles were dry and quite tasteless. I can see how they decorated it quite well, but it didn’t help with the taste. The egg benedict with salmon was average, not as bad as the waffles, but still did not feel like eating it.
Hungry Hippo
Visited sno on Sunday at midday and it was packed!! Only available sitting without a wait was outside so we decided to sit outside. It was quite windy and cold but the staff did their best to accommodate, even offering blankets. Food came within a reasonable time despite the crowd of people! Ordered the mushroom and potato Rosti stack and the Swedish blueberry waffles. Both dishes were presented beautifully! The mushrooms were delicious, lots of flavour, perfectly poached eggs! The waffles on the other hand were a little underwhelming and a tiny portion. Overall was a good experience with friendly staff and cool decor!

This is nice cafe and sooooo popular. We coming with kid and waiting nearly 1hour starting serve food. My daughter getting starving and she did play her coloring long time……<br/><br/>The food was good.<br/>Beef burger 4/5 for my partner. beef mice nice taste and juice and chips nice. mushroom nice too. <br/><br/>service good just too busy. <br/><br/>

Great spot in new market, although parking can be a bit of a pain. The aubergine dish was quite an interesting menu item for brunch so though we’d give it a go. It was a bit bland for me but others could say it was ‘healthy’. Service was very friendly and I’d go back again, especially when using Zomato Gold.

Keep returning to this cafe because of the scandi-deco and Zomato Gold! All my friends like the Burger on Charcoal Bun, I give it 9 out of 10 as well; The Salmon Tostada is tasty but small portion 7/10; The presentation of blueberry waffles are 10/10. Only let-down was the service this time - I need to get the menu on my own and waited too long for the waitress to come over and taking our orders even there were only 3 tables of people in the restaurant.

The manager was really caring and friendly, the dishes we got was large enogh. Due to the busy weekend, they were a little bit late for bringing dishes.<br/>

First impression as I walked in... WOW! Beautiful setting; bright, cosy & vibrant! <br/>The staff were so welcoming & friendly, despite being so busy. <br/>The menu was exciting, that<br/>I could’nt decide what to get. We ended up ordering Eggs Bene & Mushroon Rosti, super delicious! However, I would have loved some grilled tomatoes on the Mushroon Rosti; delicious none the less. <br/>Look forward to going back...

*zomato gold*<br/>First time patronizing, exterior and interior of the place was so aesthetically pleasing.<br/>• Smoked Salmon Egg Benedict was so satisfying, one of the better ones in Auckland, each part was seasoned well and cooked to perfection especially the poached eggs<br/>• Blueberry Waffles was such a nice light dessert and the colors were just beautiful

I really wanted to like this place... but my experience was just bizarre. <br/><br/>Firstly, my friend and I waited outside for a table for a long time while several staff members walked past us and ignored us. I had to ask to be seated and we were just waved in the general direction of a table... I brushed this off as it was quite busy so relatively understandable but still rather rude.<br/><br/>We sat down and waited 5+ minutes for menus and water until I again had to ask someone for them, to which she replied “ummmmmm uhhhhhhh ....... oh yes sure” and brought them over. It was very strange. <br/><br/>We had the menus for approximately one minute before the first waiter came over and awkwardly hovered by our table, we had clearly not decided yet so I told him to please give us a few minutes. We later ordered some juices, the Swedish waffles and the breakfast burger. <br/><br/>Everything was going fine, we got our juices and then realised we had been waiting a long time for food. The waitress came over and offered us free drinks due to the long wait which was appreciated but as we had already consumed drinks it felt a bit unnecessary. <br/><br/>When our food arrived I was genuinely shocked. The waffles were SO small and I am still not sure a.) What makes them Swedish and b.) why the actual waffles themselves were blue? The presentation was pretty but the blue was seriously offputting and if I had been super hungry I would not have been full from this meal. It is seriously overpriced. The breakfast burger was better but still quite average, super dry as well. <br/><br/>I would not come back here even though other menu items seem yum - This place has so much potential and I was disappointed to say the least.

Sunny day today. We have been New cafe in st marks rd remuera. Cafe was clean. Staff was very very friendly.. We ordered spiced mince, chicken salad and chai latte. Good tasty. But,if you really really hurgry not recommend eat here in weekend.

The roasted aubergine on innocent loaf was excellent. The matcha latte was good. The cafe decor looks nice and the place was packed when I visited so it felt quite cramped. Service was friendly but slow but the food made up for it, I would go back again.

We had driven past Sno a few times and thought we’d pop in this Saturday morning for a coffee, but the food looked so great we ordered something to eat as well. <br/>We were able to park right outside, the staff were friendly, and service was excellent! We didn’t have to wait too long for anything even though it was busy. <br/>Coffee was great, and came in a lovely mug (not those ones with thick rims - phew). We forgot to take photos of the food but it was beautifully presented, I had the spinach and feta muffin which was amazing and had a lovely relish in the middle which was a nice surprise. My partner had avocado on toast and it was delicious! <br/>Sno had great cutlery and plates, full salt and pepper shakers, napkins on the table, everything was lovely and clean and furnishings were beautiful. <br/>Highly recommend, we’ll be back!

I was very excited to see the Scandi-style café pop up in Remuera, particularly given it was started by the people behind the wonderful cafe Dear Jervois. Plus, being able to use Zomato Gold here was a big draw card. The café itself is cozy and beautifully decorated in Scandi-themed and the staff were super friendly. <br/>⁣<br/>𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝗪𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐬- The waffles were blue, the thick mascarpone was blue, the marinated blueberries were obviously blue. The waffles were thin and crisp, and had a deep vanilla note to them, and the dish was surprisingly light thanks to the fresh fruit medley and crispy cruesli. 8/10⁣<br/>⁣<br/>𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐄𝐠𝐠𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐟- This sounded like a great dish in concept, just not quite in execution. It was one of those meals that was everything free- gluten, dairy and flavour 🔥. The texture was great - with firm baby beets, radish and crunchy fried shallots, but the flavour just wasn’t there, 6.5/10.⁣<br/>⁣<br/>Overall, it was a pleasant brunching experience- loved the scandi decor, friendly staff, coffee and interesting menu options but they just need to work on refining the flavour of their dishes to really hit the mark.

New cafe in Remuera, and decided to give their food and coffee a try! Their burgers are amazing! The charcoal burger was filled with bacon, and a patty that was real tender. The breakfast burger had a massive hashbrown, scrambled eggs and bacon. Both very delicious and tasty! However, a huge let down on the matcha latte. It was watery...I had high expectations for it too. Their coffee was average and needs improvement.; again, quite watery. Will visit these guys again for theur food though! Great customer service too!

Came here for lunch with Mum and we actually missed the turn into the car park and ended up driving onto the southern motorway which is a bit annoying cause you have to make a sudden turn before the cafe so be careful.  I had a peppermint tea to drink and Mum ordered an iced latte but they brought her a normal one so she had to say that she asked for iced which was a bit annoying. I had the blueberry waffles and they were presented so cute and the waffles themselves weren't sweet so its good with the syrup and the muesli was so yum aswell however the blue marscapone is a bit unnecessary because it tastes like nothing. But overall I enjoyed my meal. My Mum had the Roasted aubergine but she didnt like it as she said everything tasted like it was drenched in butter. The staff are so lovely, the lighting in there is so good and everything is so photo worthy. Will most likely be back & I do recommend it !!
Linda
Loved the ambience of the cafe, bright and welcoming. The food was well presented, I ordered the mushroom and rosti stack - flavours were nice but not exceptional. My partner found the burger quite average. Lovely wait staff and overall a friendly vibe, would go back to try their other dishes.

Waffle$21 / spiced mince $23/ burger$26. Presentation is beautiful. Portion of the waffle is smaller (4 thin slices) compared with the other 2 dishes, waffle itself doesn’t have much flavour, also the blue mascarpone. Need to add syrup which I did not have it when food comes out on my table, and I only noticed after I finished my food!🤦‍♀️. The spiced mince was just the right food for today (cool and rainy)...... tasty mince with poached eggs, highlight of today’s lunch ~yummy! The burger bun was a bit chewy for me, the fillings are delicious, served with chips (very crispy) 🍔🍟🥓amazing.<br/>Price: 3/5<br/>Vibe: 4/5<br/>Food:3.5/5 (I am sure my waffle will be delicious with syrup, the burger bun mark down)

Came here as was a gold resturtant.Food was surprisingly good as had seen some initial bad ones when they opened.I got the eggs Benedict and my other half the Banana waffles. Both yum and big portions. The only issue I had is service took a while and as the cafe was full they needed another person on the floor.Parking is also an issue.Overall will be back and maybe just walk from newmarket parking

Great place to come for brunch. Would be good for ppl who works nearby as parking is quite hard to find around it. The nuts in the blueberry waffle gave a good crunch factor. the foods are beautiful to look at and tastes pretty good. Was a little disappointed by the fries but the burger itself was delicious.<br/>It would be good if they had covers for the sweet pastries as I saw a flies sitting on them for quite some time.<br/>The cafe doesn't have a toilet inside and must use the one outside which can be a bit of a bother especially when it's raining.

Warm and welcoming environment and staff! Lovely food. I ordered the roasted aubergine and it was delicious! Will definitely visit again. The beetroot smoothie was lovely too. Parking was a bit confusing though!

I'm blown away by this place!  High-end contemporary white marble decor with double-aspect floor to ceiling glass windows plus the classy and elegant crystal chandeliers - what a fantastic setting!! Just popped in for lunch and absolutely loved the cosy atmosphere, probably helped by the wet grotty day out there.  We were greeted and seated by some really friendly staff and we ordered the Burger on Charcoal Bun and Swedish Blueberry Waffles - both yummy and delicious, as they were simply cooked to perfection.  The shoe-string fries are amazing and the double-shot flat-white coffee was first class.  I can't stop singing the praises for them...Zamato Gold discount makes it even more appealing - you must come and try it yourself! 🙂<br/>Edit: visited Sno again on 02/06/19 and ordered Eggs Your Own Way and Chicken Salad - photos added 🤓

Ambience 5/5 and service 5/5 the stuffs were nice and patient <br/>Food 4/5<br/>But the Coffee 2.5/5 it tastes very light and sour, have no idea where does the sourness come from<br/>Price used Zomato Gold 2 coffee + 2 main spent $36

Menu looks interesting. The waffle taste good and look cute but it's a small serving so the price for it was too much for my liking. The burger size was good and taste alright. I was disappointed with the unicorn white hot chocolate because it didn't have white chocolate in it. Maybe they either forgot to put white chocolate in the drink or it was just a fluffy for kids with heated milk and froth, colourful marshmallows and 100s & 1000s sprinkle.

Popular sister cafe to Dear Jervois, Sno is an exceptional addition to the cafe scene at Newmarket/Remuera.<br/><br/>Expect a busy cafe (aka a wait for a table), exceptional food, beautiful coffee and friendly staff.<br/><br/>Portion size for the Spiced Mince and Breakfast Burger is bigger than expected. The golden raisins in the mince was a good touch and their scrambled egg in the breakfast burger = WHOA!<br/><br/>Highly recommend!

Good and friendly environment. Coffee is good and one of the mai reason is close to my work place. I tried their lunch menu(Mushroom stack) using Zomato gold. The food is in good quality but the price on the higher point. I feel is a steal if paying the price by using the membership. Will visiting again to try other lunch choice.

Nice cafe, good vibe, sparkling clean, friendly staff. Parking could be a bit tricky but ok if you work or live nearby. Food and coffee were ok. Good value with zomato gold.

Nice environment, yummy food and good service. Mark here, will come often. Recommend to our friends already, will try their smoothie next time~

The food is not worth the price we paid. Also the waitress won't tell you how long you need to wait and never get back to us on our questions. Bad management on busy times.

We came for brunch on a Thursday it was so busy! The atmosphere is very nice with lots of natural lighting. However the two seat tables are so close to each other and feel that there is not much space. There are plenty of parking on the street so don’t have to worry about that. We ordered breakfast burger and bacon egg benedict. Both dishes are filling we couldn’t finish it. Love the cold pressed juice - immunity❤️

Would definitely come back again. The Swedish rye is delicious and the burger pattie was super moist. Can’t wait to try other items on their menu.

The environment of the restaurant was very nice and feel comfortable. Food taste alright but the value of food and portions do not match. The price was high but the portion were very small. Not recommended and do not think will visit again.

Tried this newly opened cafe in Remuera which is making a lot of noise recently. With great brand comes big responsibility isn't it?<br/>We went on a busy busy day but the service wasn't slow. The staff was hands on and knew how to manage the cafe despite being understaffed (unexpected busy days?)<br/>There was nothing to fault when it came to coffee. The Potato Rosti Stack was decent but could have been better with some seasoning and lentils lacked a bit of flavour but overall was very fulfilling.<br/>Ambiance - 7/10<br/>Food -6/10<br/>Coffee - 9/10<br/>Service - 8.5/10<br/>Will come back. It's a beautiful cafe located in the heart of Remuera - although parking isn't great around this area, there are a few side streets to park on with a bit of a walk. Nevertheless, I think it is worth going to anyways for their food is amazing! <br/><br/>I've been a few times and have been impressed by their breakfast burger and the distinct taste of truffle. They also add in a few blueberries to give the dish a bit of freshness and balance out the intensity of truffle and bacon. The scrambled eggs were also a delight and the entire dish will most definitely fill you up! <br/><br/>The second time I went, I tried their savory burger and to be honest it was a little disappointing. Though the fries were really good, the charcoal bun was hard and stale. The meat was soft however, it seemed a little undercooked.<br/><br/>Overall, I would stick with the breakfast burger and other things on the menu! <br/><br/>Their drinks are also a bit strange - though that is just my personal opinion. Their coffee has a weird sour taste to it though that could just be their beans. Their iced drinks aren't well presented either. Their service is average as I understand they are quite busy and the ambiance is beautiful however, a bit squished on the weekends. <br/><br/>Food 8/10<br/>Service 6.5/10<br/>Ambiance 7/10<br/>Price 7/10

Get the charcoal burger! It was our most enjoyable choice compared to the others on the menu. The salmon egg benedict is decent but nothing exceptional. The matcha latte is below average. The decor of the place is quite nice too.

Awesome food, love the eggs Benedict with salmon and the burger. Coffee is also great. Adding to that is the great vibe and super friendly staff. Love it!

Friendly staff and beautiful and tasty food. The mushroom and rosti stack with the lentils were a treat. The gluten free waffles were a little sweet but nonetheless tasty.

I ordered the Eggs Benedict with salmon. Two eggs are poached one served with ciabatta and one placed on potato rosti/hash stack. The spinach and sauce all complemented the eggs and was delicious. The dish is filling - I couldn't finish the ciabatta.<br/>My friends ordered the hulk bowl and tostada and they both looked delicious and beautiful too.<br/>The red velvet latte is unique (no caffein) but it was a bit bland for my liking but tasted good when sugar was added.<br/>The interior is a white theme and looks amazing when the sun hits. The sounds echo a bit inside the cafe so it was a bit hard to communicate.

Was really excited for this new cafe after hearing it was run by the owners of Dear Jervois. The interior and general ambience was very Scandinavian and pretty but the cafe is kind of situated at an awkward place. However, there is on street parkin. I had the Swedish Blueberry Waffles and Burger on Charcoal Bun and it was okay, but a bit expensive for what it was worth, especially because the burger was so small. I really do not recommend the matcha latte, it tasted too powdery and bland.
Lizzie
So excited about this place as dear jervois is my all time favourite cafe in Auckland! The white and glass interior is so light and beautiful. The menu is exciting, I had the mushroom and rosti stack w/ scrambled eggs & it was such a big portion and delicious! My friend had the salmon tostada which she said she loved. Keen to come back & try the blueberry waffles & the breakfast burger too! Nice that it is tucked away down a quiet st with lots of on-street parking available!

Came here with a big group for an early Saturday breakfast. Staff were really friendly and super accommodating for a big group of around 10. I had the waffles which were beautifully presented and uniquely blue but very much on the sweet side - would have preferred the syrup to be on the side. Definitely will be back to try some of the other options on the menu! Great brunch spot with zomato gold.

Great food, and friendly staff! I like the interior design of this cafe, very clean and well maintained. This place also has plenty of parking spaces off the streets and it’s just next to the motorway. I will definitely come back again.

Sno is a lovely cafe with a bright and comfortable environment. We ordered the eggs bene w graved lax and the breakfast burger (which btw, was HUGE). I found that the hollandaise was a tad bit too buttery and although the salmon was rlly fresh, it lacked flavour. But overall, it was pretty enjoyable and the portions were great, 8/10 ✨❤️<br/><br/>My only other complaint is how the servers didn’t pay much attention to us when we entered so we didn’t know what to do. It was really busy at the time that we visited though. We also asked for water multiple times and didn’t receive it until the third, but I suspect it was because of the same reason, so it’s okay. 😋<br/>

The food here is sooo prettyyyyy! I really enjoyed the hulk bowl, it was light yet filling and everything goes really well together. The blueberry waffle was not as good as it looks though, portion is a bit on the smaller side and the cream is too sweet for my liking. A beautiful and elegant cafe that is situated in Remuera.  First impression of this restaurant had already given me high expectation of the food here.  It was very bright and clean looking.  Everything was neat and meticulously placed.  It also had a great ambiance, it was very nice to see this in a restaurant.<br/><br/>Anyway, we were directed to our table by a very welcoming staff (could be the owner of the cafe).  We had a look at the menu, despite being tempted by the waffles from the table next to us, we decided to go for the burger on charcoal bun and the mushroom and potato rosti stack.  The food arrived relatively quick and the presentation of the food was very good.  The potato rosti stack by itself was bland, but combined with the flavorful lentils and the nicely seasoned mushrooms.  It was a very good combination indeed.  I preferred the portobello mushroom over the shiitake, which luckily there was plenty of it.  Next, it was the charcoal bun burger.  The bun was mildly sweet, the patty was juicy and combines well with the nicely layered cheese.  Overall the burger was what you would expect, it met all the expectations of a burger.  The fries was also lightly seasoned and not overly cooked.<br/><br/>Overall, it was a very good meal which I enjoyed.  I will definitely try out their waffles next time, as they look so damn good in the table next to us.<br/><br/>Taste - 4/5<br/>Ambiance - 4.5/5<br/>Service - 4/5

I have high expectations for Sno cafe as I heard from my friends that their food is really good but it wasn’t overwhelmingly good. Went on Easter Monday and additional 15% surcharge applies as it is Public Holiday, also, Zomato Gold can’t be use. Ambience and decor are perfect! Food and coffee was not bad, however, I was kinda disappointed with their Matcha latte ... its ... super disgusting tbh lol <br/>Eggs benny with salmon was yummy! Love the salmon sashimi, it’s so fresh! Hollandaise sauce was way too buttery

Very very nice cafe, they have cafe too!<br/><br/>The only thing I would request is probably something on the menu that’s not starchy? There’s no omelette or anything with just veges and meat. Everything comes with potatoes bread or some form of starch. <br/><br/>Apart from this small request I think everything is superb!<br/><br/>Service: 5/5<br/>Environment: 5/5<br/>Presentation: 4/5<br/>Food Quality: 4/5<br/>Food Quantity: 4.5/5<br/>Price per person: $20-$25

Charcoal burger was well cooked with slight pinkish tinge. Jalepeno jam adds sweetness and cuts through the richness. Fries were golden and crunchy.<br/><br/>Waffles were thin variety hence had a similar texture through out. A little dry with out being crispy. Beautifully presented dish.<br/><br/>Service was quick and friendly. Airy fit out, great for people watching.

Ordered 3 roasted aubergine on innocent bread with 2 iced lattes. Firstly, the iced latte is amazing (not too sweet, and it wasn’t too bitter). The meal it self made me feel really wholesome & healthy haha, but it was slightly too bland even with salt & pepper. BUT the innocent bread is the high light of this dish- the best bread I have ever tasted omg. The ambience of this place is also really good, and is super instagram worthy!!

Bright and lovely environment. service is really friendly and polite. Food taste great, especially the mince. Unicorn white hot chocolate looks so cute, taste more like hot milk but it tasty match with the marshmallow. Wonderful place to have breakfast, will definitely come back to try other dishes

Vibrant place for Sunday brunch! Been driving past it a lot and hoping to try it soon. Glad to see it on zomato Gold which gave us the excuse to give it a try! The place is elegantly decorated with lovely white furnitures. The services are impeccable. The food is nicely presented and good portion too. Highly recommended.

We went to Sno on a late afternoon on Sunday (around 2 pm) , the place is still busy! <br/><br/>Staffs are really friendly when we ask about the dishes and deciding on what to order. <br/><br/>The wait was long for my chia latte... about 15 mins ... the food follow right after. The quality of the food is great, I do prefer my vegetarian dish with grill egg plant , as the mushroom stack is slightly too salty for me.<br/><br/>I will definitely come back to try their hot salmon ( which they ran out ) next time!<br/><br/>

New cafe in Remuera from the same people as Dear Jervois. It is located right by the on ramp, but there is fairly decent parking in the area.<br/>The menu has lots of favourites & the service is friendly & efficient. Lots of tables inside & out in a light & bright environment.<br/>On this visit I tried one of the muffins which they bake on sight. The coffee was perfectly made.<br/>Great to have this cafe in the area

If you like Dear Jervois then you will love this place! With the same owners as Dear Jervois, this place continues the cool and thriving atmosphere that has been most successful.<br/><br/>I love the feel of the place with its light, clean, and evidently Scandinavian feel. Overall the aesthetic is very calming and relaxing, toning down the hectic buzz of the place with its evident popularity. My partner and I came here on a Sunday morning and it was pumping, which is nothing out of the ordinary considering the popularity of Dear Jervois. The seating was comfortable and very conversational which is paramount in creating a successful dining space. Although it was loud and busy I didn't feel overwhelmed or frustrated at the noise, which I think is due to the clean and light aesthetic.<br/><br/>The staff were super friendly and enthusiastic. The service was extremely efficient and overall was a 10/10 experience. The food came out much faster than anticipated, which was great. Clearly, although much younger than Dear Jervois, the service is a step on. I was thoroughly impressed with this!<br/><br/>The food was an absolute winner here, with a much more confident and delicious sounding menu I struggled to decide on one thing. So there is definitely more to try next time. I had the breakfast burger which was absolutely delicious despite my early apprehensions over the addition of the blueberry compote, but this definitely worked. My partner got the blueberry waffles which were also delicious with a fantastic texture and flavor (photos below). However, the entire menu sounded great with a lovely crisp layout. There are also heaps of delicious gluten free options and you definitely won't feel like you have to settle for something, as the whole menu provides for gluten intolerant individuals. The coffee was good, nothing spectacular but definitely adequate, and nothing to complain about.<br/><br/>Overall, I was slightly worried about coming to this place as unfortunately I haven't quite connected with Dear Jervois. But I definitely connected with this place, I absolutely loved it and I will be returning to explore more of that delightful menu. I can't recommend this place enough, I fully admire all of the gluten free considerations made here and the service was wonderful. This is definitely going to become a regular brunch spot.

Clean Comfortable. Service was average. <br/>Felt like staff didn't want to take our order<br/>The food was good. I'm a fast eater and that burger took me awhile to devour

Amazing atmosphere. Amazing service. Lots of food options that cater for everyone. The best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. Will definitely be coming back.

Food was amazing, staff were awesome and very accommodating. The coffee tasted a little burnt and the music inside was quite loud (little hard to talk) but we moved outside and it was much better and a lot cooler / quieter.

Revisted Snö on Sunday. Ordered mince on toast & the breakfast burger. Both were excellent except the dry mashed potato cake (not a rosti as shown on the menu!) that accompanied the delicious scrambled eggs on the burger. Cappuccino was unfortunately borderline acceptable.<br/><br/>1st visit - This cafe, set up by the owners of Dear Jervois, is at the base of a new apartment block by the St Marks Rd entrance to the motorway. Parking wasn’t too bad but finding the entrance to the cafe was confusing for many - hint, enter at the side. It has a cool, calm scandi vibe as per its name.<br/><br/>The food was ok & coffee average, but their version of my favourite Dear Jervois eggs bene had shrunk considerably from the original, prices however had not.<br/><br/>They were fairly packed & unfortunately service suffered because of this. Due to the lack of cafes in this area, near a number of medical centres, it will no doubt do well.

Came to the newly opened Sno Cafe with my friends on a Saturday and we noticed how beautiful the exterior of the building was. The sun was shining through and the atmosphere is really nice inside. We were also surprised by how fast our coffee and food arrived, despite the other reviews saying the waiting time is long. <br/><br/>We ordered the spirulina smoothie bowl, the mushroom and the salmon eggs Benedict. <br/><br/>The mushrooms were perfectly seasoned! It was served with eggs (which we changed to scrambled) lentils and potato rosti stack, they also happily provided us with extra tomato sauce. 4/5 <br/><br/>The smoothie bowl was so Instagram worthy and tasted just as good with granola and freeze dried berries. You can tell the cafe uses high quality ingredients. 5/5<br/><br/>The eggs benny had both ciabatta bread and potato rosti (variety!) I love how the spinach wasn’t overly salty which I often find in cafes :( it was actually so perfect. The salmon was also served fresh, like sashimi, which I loved! 5/5 would reorder.<br/><br/>I’m very impressed with this cafe and the location also comes with customer parking at the back! A bit on the expensive side but it’s a nice place for a girls brunch date.

Would not rate. Took 40 minutes to get food and the food came out before coffee. Service was sub standard and when ordered a burger was given the wrong one. Sent back and waited a further 15 minutes for correct meal to arrive. Food was ok but over priced. When paying the bill we were charged for both burgers and realised when walking out. Went back and talked with manager to which he said “ok” and went back to serve the long line of customers. After 5 minutes I was given a refund for the incorrect meal and told next time I go I can get a free coffee. Was highly disappointed and would not be returning.

Interior is nice , but the food was very underwhelming, over cooked waffles and luke warm coffee, it wasn’t overly busy yet still slow service . Upside the food presentation is nice

Thought my friends and i would try this place as we all had been fans of Dear Jervois, but it definitely was not up to that standard. <br/>The service was very slow, we waited approx 15 minutes for our drinks, then we waited another 40 minutes for our food. My friend and i ordered the blueberry waffles and while they looked pretty the taste was very dry and the waffles themselves were very thin and crispy texture, i was glad i ordered a side of bacon to cut through the sugary sweetness of the dish. my friend ordered the Swedish hash which was really just chopped up pieces of potatoes, parsnip into little cubes, and two slices of bread which was nothing special, the serving was small for the cost of $22 for cut up pieces of vegetables was pretty steep. I do not think any of us were impressed with much Snö had to offer so no i would not recommend this place nor would i go back.

Sno by Dear Jervois. I have to say I was a little underwhelmed given the name and standards at Dear Jervois. The white Swedish theme inside was to the point as expected. I had the Swedish blueberry heart-shaped waffles , and a matcha caramel ice drink. Both I felt was pretty standard Mt Eden/ Newmarket standard and nothing special. My friend had the Swedish hash and charcoal smoothie. Again, it was just standard. I feel overall the food was missing the wow factor!<br/><br/>Service 4/5<br/>Presentation 4/5<br/>Food 3/5<br/>Price 3/5<br/><br/>Overall 3.5
