Oh my goodness!!!! šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜ How come we miss this place for years. Best cafe in the heart of Auckland. You cannot fine any better scone from anywhere but Dreamersā€™ The price from menu is unbelievably reasonable. Garden is so beautiful. Great coffee!!!! Very friendly staff. BIG WOW, this is BIG WOW 27:07: after 2 year of keep coming to the cafe, the coffee is still great, the scone is even greater.

A pet friendly cute cottage type cafe with indoor and outdoor settings. The owner is an old lady who is super friendly and even offered ham to our little dog. Parking available on street. Lots of space available in the backyard with fruit trees, pot plants and variety of trees. Perfect for birthday parties and other functions. You will love it ā¤ļø.

Cosy, plenty of seating and tables, feels like visiting and dining in someone's house. Priced better than most cafƩs and meals taste like home cooking :) Portion sizes of the different meals were a range. My teriyaki chicken was smaller than I expected but was still a bargain and other meals looked bigger

Food was delicious and the lady who made us the food was friendly and gave out motherly love ā™„ļøā™„ļø! Thank you šŸ™šŸ½

Comparatively cheap breakfast/brunch option in Auckland. Interesting decor/setup - really felt like you were dining in a home rather than a restaurant. Good selection of breakfast and lunch dishes. Also had quite an extensive drink menu. Would definitely come back again if I'm around town.

I loved walking into your little cottage, not far from the train station, you will find this quaint cottage with a homely feel inside , the food was nice the coffee was perfect and the atmosphere was quiet and peaceful with lots of treasures on the shelves , what a unique place you have . Loved my visit , had a bacon lettuce and tomato blatt .

What a wonderful and enjoyable cafƩ. Best in the Market Road area. Superb back garden with plenty of seating. Old fashioned and good foods that's all home made. Had a delicious toasted sandwich here. Welcoming. Real treasure.

Had an absolutely delicious apple muffin that came straight from the oven (it was still steaming and smelt devine). The coffee was fantastic as well and the owner (I'm assuming) was a sweetheart.

A surprise encounter: I wanted a cuppa before a lunch nearby and found the secret garden, the birds and sunshine. A piece of paradise on the busy Gt. South Road.

What a delightful place to eat and relax.Felt welcome straightaway, food was delicious, wonderful atmosphere, and environment. Wish more cafes were like this, I'll be back :-)

It is such an adorable little cafĆ©, with a beautiful garden at the back. One is able to enjoy the sun when itā€™s out on a large picnic table in the flourished garden. The coffee and food are both really good and the staff is very friendly. The prices are really reasonable, such as $3.50 sandwiches which makes it even more enjoyable. There is wifi and the place is quiet, it is thus ideal to work and study in a cosy environment! Also, this is probably the place where Iā€™ve had the best chai latte in a long time.

This has to be one of the most under-rated cafes in Auckland! As I cannot recommend it enough! It was perfect for a cute brunch date with my girlfriends! The food is pretty cheap and they certainly didn't skimp out on food quality cause it was all soooo delicious!! It felt sooo cosy and peaceful dining on the deck of the cottage with a beautiful garden and sipping coffee. Hospitality was so friendly and I will def be back!! We enjoyed ourselves so much I forgot to take a pic of the garden in the back and the food was eaten quickly! But here is a pic of the front from the busy road.

Friendly staff nice ambience and so cute and the garden area is a nice touch

Can easily understand the high ratings for this place. Beautiful interior and exterior of the cafe that makes me want to drop by here again next time when I am in Auckland! Outdoor seating would be great on a sunny summer day too.

Feels like I was stepping into someone's actual home. Lovely atmosphere that starts with the white picket fence, and cobble stone path way, which leads to the front entrance under a porch. A cottage retreat with a quaint outside garden. Delightful owners. To my surprise, the lady let me have the coffee and Danish pastry for free, since my card was declined, and I only had enough for a sandwich. This charming little cafe must be the best kept secret in Remuera. Unpretentious, peaceful, inexpensive, and yummy food. Must try it out!

Iā€™ve been there few times already it was such a beautiful place and owner was very friendly. Unfortunately last month when we went there, owner wasnā€™t there and her sister was there. And she just talk too much! She just talk whatever she wants and she NEVER LISTEN what we said! Itā€™s not good for these business. She doesnā€™t even care other peopleā€™s feelings? Unbelievable. We went there for coffee as such a nice quiet cafe but I will never come back again that was made me so uncomfortable.

Just recently started working in this area and was recommended to come here from a colleague. Itā€™s a hidden gem with exceptionally friendly owners, and delicious options for lunch. Itā€™s a cute dainty little cafe, with a garden seating out the back. Their BLAT sandwich was tasty and makes a great option for lunch .

Will definitely come back to try it more of their lunch options!

I've been here twice and both visits were enjoyable. The food is delicious and inexpensive and the coffee is also very good. Beautifully decorated with a nice view of the garden outside. There is also an arrangement of items for sale. Very calm and comfortable atmosphere. Parking on the road, but I haven't had any trouble finding parking yet. Will definitely be back!

A little charmer with exceptionally friendly service. Hubby and I had toasted sandwiches, of which they have a nice selection - both very tasty.

Lovely local cafe to me, a hidden gem! In amongst all the chaos of Great South Road this sweet little cafe is a beautiful spot to hide out. It is based out of an old school home and garden. What makes this place stand out is the amazing owner, she is always so friendly and you can tell she takes pride in making her customers feel happy and welcome. Food is lovely too and if you are about I would recommend stopping in and supporting this lovely lady and her family as apposed to some of the 'fancier' cafes around šŸ˜Š

I love this cafe, the owner is the most pleasant lady and greets everyone like an old friend. She remembers the regulars and their orders too.

The atmosphere is so cute and quaint, it's a nice quiet cafe with lovely decor. You can sit indoors or out in the garden, which is gorgeous on a sunny day.

The food is cheap and all made on the premises. The pancakes are always so light and fluffy, I've never had a bad meal here.

This cafe is totally a hidden gem Epsom, the perfect spot for catch up & relaxation whether in summer or winter.

The cottage looked like it came right out of a fairytale. The interior design was equally charming - the vintage style definitely set itself apart from the industrial trend of all the other cafes.

The owner was the sweetest lady, who treated us to these delicious homemade caramel slices while we were waiting.Ā

There was a big group who came right before us so service was a little bit slow, but that didn't bother us since the environment was so lovely and there were so many cute things to look at! Only recommend coming here if you have time to kill though :pĀ

There were no fancy options on the menu, but the food was hearty and everything was done well. The serving size of the 'Dreamer's Special' breakfast was generous, and definitely worth the value. I loved my pancakes which were super light and fluffy, served traditionally with bacon, bananas, and maple syrup.

All in all, the atmosphere of this place was definitely special, and I would totally love to visit again :)

The chocolate cake was so good and worth every single dollar. Gorgeous decor and the atmosphere there was friendly and warm. Love ordering their food!

Have tried nearly everything on this menu as it's across the road from my work. Food is simple and great. People that work/own there are friendly and pleasant. Great low key place to pop into!

What a beautiful beautiful little cottage situated at the heart of Auckland.

Dreamers cafe is the perfect name for this cute little cafe. The owner is the most friendly individual on earth.

The lemon cake is Amazing! Words can't even describe how incredibly it is. The orange cake and scones are delicious too.

You can tell so much effort being put into this place from the food to the deco to the beautiful garden. Everything is just amazing in here.

Quaint cute unusual atmospheric Dreamers is a one off. 100% excellent cabinet food, cakes, scones are world class. Menus are extensive English and Thai food very high standard. Coffee is top notch. Prices very reasonable, I've been a regular for years and the menus vary but the quality remains the same..
I love the place
Lenny

The lovely owner does the best lemon cake with lemon icing I've ever tasted...it just melts in your mouth. The baked potatoes are devine as well...they will add bacon and do a lovely salad to go on the side to eat there or takeaway. I love the decor...it's so quaint and not commercialized like all the other starbucks and esquires or mccafes...and the food is good ole home made not mass produced plastic tasting crap!!! I love this place and go at least once a week :-)

Best little cafe in Auckland. The food is cheap and good ... try the chicken satay ... yummm. The decor is homely, the garden is a great place to sit and relax with brilliant coffee. Lovely lovely lovely ...

Went here today for the first time and was pleasantly surprised.
Such an awesome wee place, loved the decor and the crafty things around the place, very whimsical and kitschy- in a cool way. (Hope it stays that way and doesn't sell out and become boring "modern" commercial like everywhere else in this city.) very unique :)
Good food too!
RH
If you get here early enough (and the haven't sold out) purchase one of their muffins. They are cooked on the premises and they are still warm when you purchase them - very tasty, moist and you will not buy better ANYWHERE!

The rest of the food is reasonable for the price - it is cheaper than a lot of other Auckland cafes. The decor of the cafe is the only let down - it could do with a spruce up and it feels like you are at a second hand shop with all the stuff around. There is outdoor seating outside as well, so it's bigger than it looks.
