Absolutely worth making your local curry stop and having a rant about. The Indian Cafe Richmond is fantastic. With great tasting food, consistent standards and friendly staff, it doesn't matter if you are dining in or smashing straight from the container, it's always going to be a treat.

Good food. Large portions. We ordered the vegetarian platter - comes as 3 courses with fritters/samosas, main course with 3 curries and kulfi/ice cream dessert.

We love the Indian cafe in Nelson, it's never been beaten in all our NZ travels. The Richmond branch is closer so we tried it again and liked it a lot. Food is excellent, atmosphere judged against the Nelson branch is not as good but was still good. We eat in as dishes are only $1 more to sit in tha
