Review Swiss - Richmond

This place is amazing! I see myself as quite the pie connoisseur and their do not disappoint! I could go on about the pies for days, light fluffy pastry, quality and stuffed full of ingredients and a very fair price. But everything at the Swiss Bakery is great. Beautiful, delicious baked goods, very fair prices and amazing customer service. Would give them 6 stars if I could. Sorry no photos as the food was eaten too quickly!

Called into here for the first time today and I had something they called a BEESTING Its a bun with cream and custard in the middle kind of like a cream bun but the bun is made with honey and its got almonds on top so nice I loved it

10/10 service , food , atmosphere ! Our pies were freakin amazing !! The chicken satay pie and mince and cheese were so tasty and the pastry , wow !

Good selection of pies and cakes, nice coffees

We came here early for breakfast, as they open really early. They have a pretty good range of sweet and savoury pastry, and the coffee is good. Prices have definitely increasing in the last few months, but the food is tasty. While you can eat inside, there's not much room. There are more metal tables outside. They also generally have a special of the week and more often than not it's a danish.

Best pies in town, well made, scrummy cakes sandwiches and filled rolls, staff exceptional, and service is excellent worth a visit.

After freedom camping in richmond over night as a part of my sperm donation world tour of New Zealand found a good bakery had a lovely chicken and cranberry pie and a nice mocha.

Not bad, especially compared to the NZ standard for (what they identify as) "bakery", but I was hoping for something more... more European style food.

terrific variety, and looks oh so fresh, and the proof is in the taste Wow, you have to try the cheese and herb sausage Rolls & the Custard Squares , and while you at it try the large filled Rolls Yum

Always enjoy the beestings! We have our real favorites and are rarely disappointed.:-) The staff are helpful and polite. Once winter hits we will be back for their delicious pies.

Excellent coffee and lovely pastries and cakes - what more could you want?

Great range of bakery fare at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend their large filled rolls - delicious and fresh.
